Instinct drove it to defend with everything it had
to sohow withstand this terrifying move!
Its enormous body curled in slightly.
A faint grayish-white sheen of energy flashed across its body.

The two moves were unleashed back to back without the slightest pause. w used every defensive move it could.

rose by two stages in an instant!
And that still was not the end!
It straightened its body.
Its enormous fra stood upright inside the crater.
Its eyes closed.
One hand lifted.
Its consciousness and will soared upward, resonating through this stretch of the world and connecting with outer space.
Starlike light flickered across its body.
The cosmic power it drew down
raised w's defensive attributes by yet another level!
Imdiately after that,
it stirred the surrounding energy again.
A red wall!
A green wall!
One after another, they rapidly appeared before it.
Reflect!

The two moves were layered and alternated,
forming a massive wall in front of w in the blink of an eye.
As if it still felt that this defense was not enough,
w once again forcibly stirred its own energy.
Psychic-type power gathered.
The move Barrier was released.
A nearly solid mass of trendous energy
slowly ford a pink wall under w's control.
And right at that mont,
purple Dynamax energy suddenly surged into it.
As the powers mixed,
that wall abruptly changed.
A pinkish-purple barrier stretched between Shiko and w.
It was incomparably tall and heavy.
The dense energy wrapped around it
was enough for anyone to feel its solidity and weight with a single glance!

Genjo and Professor Shen of Team Obsidian, the scientist who had developed Dynamax, both revealed expressions of extre shock at the sa ti.

Professor Shen stood there in a daze for a mont.
A bright, excited gleam lit up his lenses.
Back when he had first developed Dynamax,

the effects brought by Dynamax
were not limited to rely increasing a Pokémon's size, stamina, and the power and range of its moves.

let alone a Third-tier Legendary,
even a fully charged finishing move from a Second-tier Legendary
should not possibly be able to defeat it in a single blow!

The unfamiliar, imnse aura of energy inside that energy sphere

silver Steel-type energy coursed across and covered its whole body.
After raising its Defense by another two stages,
Shiko had already hurled that blazing energy sphere, swollen to its limit and burning like a miniature sun!
The orb-like energy cannon streaked across the sky.
Wherever it passed,
space itself was scorched until it twisted and began to break apart.
The cannon was not flying especially fast.
Its trajectory could be clearly tracked with the naked eye.
It even looked as if it would be easy to dodge.
But w understood.
From the mont WarGreymon had begun gathering energy to use the move,
that sphere of energy
had already locked onto it completely,

It was even stronger than the signature move Oblivion Wing that it had once faced from the First-tier Legendary Yveltal thousands of years ago!!

was likely second only to the Creator God-level being Arceus's Judgnt!
After the overwhelming shock and disbelief,
w could only watch helplessly as that terrifying energy sphere
madly destroyed and shattered the towering Max Guard wall.
That massive defensive fortress, which had seed so thick and so reassuring,
in front of the energy sphere,
was like a shell piled up out of eggs.
The mont light and heat touched it,
it lted!
In an instant,
that energy sphere broke through the final layer of defense
and struck w's body head-on!!
