The next second, a red beam surged out.
It slowly condensed together,
turning into a two-ter-tall, upright, dragon-humanoid Pokémon.
"Roar!!"
A clear dragon roar rang out.
Shiko's figure appeared before the eyes of every spectator.
The bright yellow Chro Digizoid Battle Armor
glead brilliantly beneath the sunlight, carrying a sharp and resilient tallic texture.
His deep, dark-blue eyes
burned with an intense fighting spirit.
Terrifying Dragon Pressure spread through this space, raging and sweeping outward.
That powerful oppressive force
made the barrier around the battle arena tremble violently, letting out creaking sounds.
The next second,
dense cracks covered it.
The entire oval-shaped protective barrier
looked as if it had been covered by a huge spiderweb.
When the cracks spread from the bottom all the way to the top,
it finally could no longer withstand Shiko's powerful oppressive aura.
Crack!!!
Piece after piece of transparent glass-like barrier scattered down.
It looked just like a heavy rainstorm.
"What Pokémon is that!?"
"Damn! I've never seen it before!"
"What a powerful aura! And it looks way too cool!"
"It looks strong just standing there! That pressure is completely maxed out!"

countless spectators let out cries of surprise the instant Shiko appeared.

The arms ford from dark matter twisted and swayed continuously.
A vast amount of Dark-type energy gathered in Darkrai's palm.
With one raise of his hand,
a massive black void that covered the sky above the entire tournant venue appeared in an instant.
Its edges were still twisting and expanding in a spiral.
The enormous black void devoured every trace of light in the space.
In an instant,
the entire venue beca as pitch-black as if all the lights had been extinguished.
All that could be seen was the utterly dark void overhead.
"It's a good thing you shattered that barrier. Otherwise, the destructive range of that black void would not have reached this scale."
Shuzo's faint voice sounded from within the darkness.
As soon as his words fell,
the entire world before their eyes underwent a trendous change.
It was still this field, still this battle arena.
Only,
there was not a single trace of light around them. There was only thick darkness stretching endlessly beyond sight.
But strangely enough,
within this darkness,
everything around them could still be seen clearly.
In fact,
when they looked outward,
even the hundreds of thousands of spectators sitting in the stands could be seen clearly.

What exactly was going on?
A confused look surfaced on Hiko's face.

The hundreds of thousands of spectators outside
