Things had clearly beco even more severe now.
Before this, they had only needed to face the threat brought by Yveltal, a First-tier Legendary.
Although it had been dangerous, there had still been a thin chance of survival.
But now, after Okano Shuzo had turned into Oba Genjo, things had beco even worse.
What they were facing now was the venomous ambition of a man who wanted to rule the world.
A wild First-tier Legendary and a controlled First-tier Legendary were two completely different concepts.
"Yveltal! Finish him!"
Before Hiko could recover from her shock, Oba Genjo gave Yveltal an order with a cold expression on his face.
"Shrieeek!!"
With a cry, Yveltal suddenly beat his wings.
He had realized that Dark-type energy seed to be able to injure BlackWarGreymon.
So he decisively changed his fighting thod.
He relied on his powerful body and launched a physical attack.
Spreading his wings, he dove downward.
This ti, his descent was once again terrifyingly fast.
However, from a distance, he no longer looked like a black teor.
Instead, the black mist wrapped around his body condensed into the shape of a ferocious black dragon.
It was as if a giant dragon were diving down from the sky.
Dragon Rush!?
He's using that move?
Shiko was sowhat surprised.
A mont later, he once again assud a combat stance.
Facing the black dragon head-on, he raised his sharp claws.
An earth-shaking collision erupted again in an instant.
BlackWarGreymon and Yveltal collided like two teors.
Boom!!
A massive sound rang out.
The alloy claws held back the ferocious dragon head.
In the next second, with unstoppable montum, they instantly tore apart the black mist dragon.
Without losing any force, they charged straight toward Yveltal.
Slash!!
The attack was so swift that Yveltal did not even have ti to react.
The sharp claws once again struck his wing with vicious force.
He had thought this attack would be the sa as before.
At most, it would rely cut away so of his feathers.
But!
He had never expected that, for so unknown reason, the attack would be several tis stronger than before.
The claw actually tore through the defense of his outer skin.
It cut deep into his flesh.
"Shrieeek!!"
Yveltal let out a sharp cry of pain.
Thick black blood dripped from the wound that had been sliced open.
"How is that possible!?"
When Oba Genjo saw this scene, his face changed drastically in shock.
BlackWarGreymon had clearly been at a disadvantage even after Dynamaxing.
How had BlackWarGreymon gained the upper hand in the blink of an eye?
He had even wounded Yveltal?
His mind began racing at high speed.
An ominous premonition faintly began to grow inside his head.
"Yes!!"
Down below, Hiko cheered in delight.
Seeing that Shiko had gained the upper hand, the string that had been stretched tight in her heart suddenly loosened.
The battle in the sky continued.
After his wing was wounded, Yveltal's speed clearly slowed by a notch.
With that, Shiko could completely keep up with him.
He no longer had to be led around everywhere by this lightning-fast giant bird.
Yveltal still did not know that Shiko had already placed the Dragon's Mark on him.
The current Yveltal had gained an additional third type: Dragon.
Shiko's Dragon Slayer trait could now inflict double damage on Yveltal.
And on top of that...
Dragon Claw, Dragon Breath, Dragon Rush, Draco teor, Dragon Hamr.
Shiko unleashed all sorts of Dragon-type moves with incredible flexibility.
With Dragon Slayer added to the already massive damage bonus that Dragon-type moves had against Dragon-type Pokémon, even a First-tier Legendary like Yveltal was forced back again and again by Shiko's attacks!!
