The reason he was able to draw out the energy nodes of Charmander and Charleon and modify their bodies was not only because he now possessed fragnts of the world's origin laws, allowing him to grasp the purest origin power that ford the world.
More importantly, it was because his own base genes had originally belonged to Charmander.
He, too, had evolved from Charmander to reach this point.
It was precisely because of this shared origin.
And also because he was an anomaly within the Charizard line.
Among the Pokémon of this line, he was the only existence who had reached the level of a second-tier Legendary.
That was why, as the god of this species, he was able to carry out such modifications on the Pokémon within this species.
Unfortunately,
his authority—
or rather, the origin laws he had mastered—
was still not enough.
He had not yet reached Regigigas's level, where he could create entirely new Pokémon.

Regidrago had most likely recovered about eighty percent of its peak power.
Otherwise,
it absolutely could not have released such a powerful oppressive aura.

these Legendary Pokémon really were blessed with extraordinary stamina.

and he had absorbed so much of its energy.

Shiko easily found the cave entrance halfway up the mountain.
He walked inside.
