Beedrill's current level was only 84. Yet, its strongest attack at full power already exceeded the destructive capability of a Level 99 Pokémon.
So, what would happen when Beedrill broke through to Elite level, reached Level 90, or even achieved Champion level?
Or perhaps, when Beedrill hit Level 99, or even Level 100?
At that point, what kind of horrifying heights would Beedrill's power reach?
On the other side, Dragonite flew backward, rolling several tis on the ground before slowly struggling to its feet. It looked incredibly battered.
Although the Ultimate Poison Jab had successfully shattered Dragonite's Protect barrier, the vast majority of the attack's power had been neutralized by the shield.
The residual force wasn't enough to knock Dragonite out directly.
However, while Dragonite was struggling to get up, the post-attack stiffness from Beedrill's Giga Impact (part of the combo) had worn off.

The stingers under ga Beedrill's abdon glowed white. A barrage of slender, needle-like projectiles shot out like a torrential storm, homing in on Dragonite.
Before the missiles could land, a beam of red light shot from Dragonite's rear, enveloping its body.
The white needles pierced through the red light but missed the dragon entirely.
Dragonite vanished, recalled into its Poké Ball by Drago.
Although Dragonite hadn't completely lost consciousness, it was severely injured and had essentially lost its combat capability.
Drago saw no point in letting it stay out just to be a punching bag, so he chose to recall it preemptively.
But this move made Kenji feel a bit cheated.
Since Dragonite didn't faint on the field, the System didn't register a "defeat."
This ant no victory rewards and no [War's Treasures] loot drop.
Kenji instantly felt like he had lost a hundred million dollars.
Across the field, Drago took a deep breath. From a small pouch at his waist, he pulled out a unique Poké Ball.
It looked completely different from a standard Poké Ball or even a Master Ball.
It was pure white. And embedded in the top of the ball was a Key Stone.
"Co out! Altaria!!!"
Drago pressed the button. Pop! The ball burst open, and red light shot into the air above the arena.
A Pokémon with a sky-blue body, its wings and torso enveloped in fluffy, cloud-like feathers, appeared in the sky.
Altaria!!
Around its ankle, it wore a chain anklet set with a ga Stone.
Kenji looked at the white Poké Ball in Drago's hand with surprise.
Embedding the Key Stone directly into the Poké Ball was a novel design.
In the next mont, Drago gripped the white ball tightly and raised it high.
"Altaria!! ga!!! Evolve!!!"
"Qiii!!!! —"
Altaria flapped its wings as rainbow light blossod from its body.
When the light faded, Altaria reappeared in mid-air.
Its sky-blue skin had turned a lighter shade. Its tail feathers had grown longer, swaying in the wind like ribbons. The fluffy white feathers on its belly were gone, but the rest of its body was now protected by an even thicker coat of cotton-like plumage.
Only its lower abdon and face were exposed.

Altaria, nicknad "The Traitor of the Dragon Clan."
First, despite being a Dragon-type, neither its appearance nor its na had anything to do with dragons (in Chinese/Japanese context).
Second, and most crucially: despite being a Dragon-type, its ga Evolution's secondary Flying type changed to Fairy—the very type that was immune to and super effective against Dragons.
And the most outrageous part? A Dragon-type Pokémon with the ability Pixilate.
If that wasn't a traitor, what was?
The Dragon/Fairy typing was currently unique to ga Altaria in the entire Pokémon world.
ga Altaria had a base stat total of 590. The distribution was extrely balanced. Aside from slightly lower HP and Speed, its other four stats were all over 100 (Defense: 110, Sp. Atk: 110, Sp. Def: 105, Attack: 110).
"Qiqi!!! —"
As the battle resud, Altaria flapped its wings. Suddenly, the cotton-like feathers on its body expanded rapidly and detached, floating into the air. Before the feathers on its body could thin out, they regrew instantly.
Feather Dance Cotton Guard!!
Simultaneously, a gust of wind generated beneath Altaria.
Hurricane!!!
The fierce wind swirled around ga Altaria, carrying the lightweight, cotton-like feathers with it.
In monts, a white tornado made of cotton feathers ford in the arena, shielding ga Altaria from all directions.
Kenji had seen a similar tactic during the National League.
It was the sa combo of Cotton Spore and Tailwind used by Zephyr's Whimsicott.
However, compared to Whimsicott, Altaria's mastery over this technique was clearly superior. The speed at which it executed the combo was even faster than the Prankster-boosted Whimsicott!!!
POOF!!! —
In the next instant, the white cotton tornado exploded outward. The entire arena was filled with drifting white feathers.
At the sa ti, a thick white mist began to shroud the battlefield.

Both ga Altaria and ga Beedrill vanished from sight.

From within the mist, a song filled with sorrow and desolation began to echo.

Effect: Any Pokémon that hears this song will faint in three turns unless switched out.
Kenji closed his eyes. He stopped trying to use his vision to pierce the fog and instead focused his heart on sensing ga Beedrill's location.
ga Altaria's goal was obvious. Using the combination of Mist, Cotton Guard, and Feather Dance, it intended to stall for ti.
ga Altaria wasn't like Crobat; it couldn't use ultrasonic waves to navigate.
In this environnt, not only was ga Beedrill's vision restricted, but ga Altaria was also blinded.
Clearly, ga Altaria had no intention of attacking proactively.
This tactic was cowardly and passive. Down on the ground, Drago's old face burned with a bit of embarrassnt.
But choosing this strategy was Drago's helpless last resort.
He had run countless simulations in his mind, but no matter what tactic he devised, facing ga Beedrill always left him with a sense of powerlessness.
Only this strategy offered a glimr of hope for victory.
