Tyranitar passing the trial was certainly a cause for celebration, but Kenji hadn't forgotten about its injuries.

Fortunately, although the Qi Clan lived in isolation, their Pokémon dical technology was top-tier.

After all, Tyranitars were naturally short-tempered. Fights among themselves were common. To preserve the clan's foundation and ensure the Pokémon didn't suffer permanent damage from infighting, the Qi Clan had no choice but to maximize their dical capabilities.

With Tyranitar settled in the temple, Kenji wasn't in a rush to leave. He was treated as an honored guest by the Qi Clan, with dedicated staff showing him around during the day.

However, the Qi Clan was secluded, and the desert scenery was monotonous. There weren't many places to visit. Within a few days, Kenji had explored everything interesting around the settlent.

Over these few days, Tyranitar began to integrate into the temple's community.

Perhaps because it had tanked a full-power Stone Edge from the King without falling, Tyranitar commanded respect despite its level being lower than the temple average.

Ordinary Elite-level Tyranitars acted cautiously around it.

Even Champion-level Tyranitars were polite, not daring to provoke it lightly.

Even the haughty King of Tyranitars seed to regard Kenji's partner differently, occasionally observing its actions during monts of leisure.

...

Of course, Tyranitar's colossal size might have played a part in that respect.

Regardless, his Tyranitar had established its prestige within the temple. Kenji didn't have to worry about it being bullied for having a lower level.

"So comfortable."

As the sun set, Kenji lay on a sand dune, hands behind his head, gazing at the sky. He let out a contented sigh.

The sand beneath him was warm, retaining the heat of the day's sun. The soft grains ford a natural bed, contouring perfectly to his body.

"Larvi..."

Beside him, the little Larvitar lying on the sand waved its small hand in agreent. It had a blissful expression on its face, seemingly enjoying the mont as well. It casually grabbed a handful of sand and munched on it like a snack.

This was the sa Larvitar Kenji had t beside High Priest Qi Yanqun on his first day.

Since Kenji arrived, the little guy had been seeking him out to play.

Kenji was happy to oblige. This Larvitar had A-Rank potential, guaranteeing at least Elite-level growth. With proper resources, it could easily break through to Champion-level.

More importantly, it was a Pseudo-Legendary. An A-Rank Pseudo-Legendary was equal to, if not more valuable than, a standard S-Rank Pokémon.

So, when the little one showed intense curiosity about the outside world, Kenji "accidentally" started telling it stories about the world beyond the desert.

Over ti, Larvitar's curiosity grew into a burning desire. Every ti Kenji told a story, its eyes would light up.

Kenji was very satisfied with the progress.

He believed that with a little more ti, Larvitar would obediently follow him out of here.

Of course, Kenji didn't intend to raise another Tyranitar himself.

This Larvitar was for Bai Bai.

He still hadn't fully fulfilled his promise to give Tyson Tang and his sister an S-Rank Pokémon each. Although this Larvitar was only A-Rank, its value far exceeded most S-Rank Pokémon.

Moreover, Kenji recalled that when he chose his Larvitar egg, Bai Bai had also had her eye on it, but he had "snatched" it first.

Giving her this Larvitar would help make up for that regret.

However, Kenji couldn't guarantee he could successfully "abduct" it.

Pseudo-Legendaries weren't cabbages on the roadside. Even if Larvitar was willing to leave, the Qi Clan might not agree to let him take it.

Kenji could only try his best.

"Haya!!! —"

In the sand below, Mankey was running wild, chasing a poor, passing Sandshrew in circles.

Aside from Ninetales and Mankey, Kenji's other Pokémon had little interest in the desert.

Servine, Bellossom, and Gyarados, in particular, actively disliked the environnt.

Only Mankey, with its boundless energy, insisted on coming out of its ball to run around whenever it had the chance.

Once Mankey had played enough, Kenji yawned, sat up from the dune, recalled the monkey, and led Larvitar back to the Qi Clan settlent.
