Namgung Xi nodded. "I know! I have lots of friends back on Dragon Island. Grandpa will bring them over when the ti cos."

Two days later, Kenji and Namgung Xi set off for tropolis, leaving behind the region Namgung Xi had grown fond of.

"What, worried about Bai Bai?" Kenji asked casually.
"Pfft. It's just that with her gone, there's no one to cover my shifts," Tyson scoffed in denial.
After that, Kenji made a trip to Mt. Dreadmist. Since Grandma Liu had lived alone for so long and likely preferred solitude, Kenji didn't bring Namgung Xi along.
This was the first ti Kenji had been separated from Beedrill since becoming a trainer.
"Alright, it's just for a while. I'll co visit you every week," Kenji hugged his two Pokémon, comforting them.
