"Go!! Tyranitar!!!"

Hu Ren raised his hand, snapping his wrist to hurl his fifth Poké Ball.

It was his team's second weather setter—his own Tyranitar!

"ROAAAARRR!!!! —"

A red light hit the floor, and a second Tyranitar appeared. However, compared to Kenji's twenty-ter titan, this one looked like a miniature model.

[Tyranitar]

Gender: Male

Level: 89 (Elite Peak)

Type: Rock / Dark

Ability: Sand Stream

Potential: A-

Hu Ren's Tyranitar was the only mber of his team that hadn't quite reached the Champion tier yet. But as a Pseudo-Legendary at Level 89, its raw combat stats were high enough to wrestle with many low-level Champion Pokémon.

"ROAAAARRR!!!! —"

On the field, Hu Ren's Tyranitar let out a defiant roar at Kenji's giant. But interestingly, beneath the aggression in its eyes, there was a visible glint of respect.

Kenji raised an eyebrow. Looking at the way Hu Ren's Pokémon was carrying itself, he wondered... Do they know each other?

Sure enough, in the next second, Kenji's giant responded with a series of low, rhythmic growls.

The two behemoths began a brief "conversation" through a series of roars and snorts.

Hu Ren didn't look surprised. Given the astronomical talent Kenji's Tyranitar had displayed, it was a given that the Qi Clan would have invited it into the Tyranitar Temple. Hu Ren, as a ward of the Hu Clan, frequently sent his own Tyranitar to the temple for seasonal training.

Since they had both trained in the sa sacred grounds, it wasn't strange at all for them to be acquaintances.

Kenji's Tyranitar let out two more low growls and settled into a wide combat stance.

Opposite it, Hu Ren's Tyranitar mirrored the movent, its eyes reigniting with a fierce, competitive fire.

Then, both Pokémon simultaneously turned their heads toward their respective trainers.

Kenji couldn't speak Pokémon, but after months of bonding, he understood the look instantly. They were asking for a "warrior's duel"—a fight without tactical interference.

Hu Ren, having been partners with his Tyranitar for years, clearly understood the request as well.

"Go, Tyranitar."

"Fight to your heart's content!!!"

"ROAAAARR!!!! —"

Both trainers nodded, giving their tacit approval.

With the green light given, the two titans lunged at each other, the arena floor groaning under their combined weight.

THUD! THUD! THUD!

The high-speed movent of two massive Rock-types caused the entire stadium to vibrate as if caught in a localized earthquake.

They roared and collided in the center of the field.

One swung a Dragon Claw, the other t it with an Ice Punch. They abandoned complex setups and range gas, choosing a raw, brutal lee where every strike echoed like a hamr hitting an anvil.

Kenji and Hu Ren stood silently in their boxes, watching the primal spectacle.

While the "strategy" of the fight was non-existent, the sheer visceral impact of two Pseudo-Legendary giants trading point-blank blows sent the crowd into a state of hysterical excitent.

Kenji's Tyranitar was significantly larger and more powerful. Every ti it swung a fist, it targeted the head of its smaller opponent. Every hit was a staggering blow.

Hu Ren's Tyranitar was fighting an uphill battle. It could only reach the giant's abdon and was forced to dodge frantically to avoid being stepped on by the giant's massive feet.

The disparity in scale and the stat-buffing items made the fight look like a professional heavyweight boxer bullying a middle-schooler.

After a few minutes of intense brawling, the outco was inevitable.

Hu Ren's Tyranitar fell first. With a sound like a mountain collapsing, its body hit the ground, carving a new crater into the floor.

On the other side, Kenji's giant—having already fought Gliscor and tanked its own self-inflicted damage—finally reached its limit. It swayed and fell beside its rival, its stamina completely redlined.

"Blue Side Tyranitar is unable to battle!! Red Side Tyranitar wins the round!!"

...

Hu Ren's final Pokémon was a Flygon, the "Desert Spirit." It t Kenji's Gyarados, who returned to the field to finish the job.

The match of Kenji vs. Hu Ren finally reached its conclusion.

Kenji had achieved a perfect 6-0 sweep against a Zhurong-tier top seed!

As the match ended, the two trainers t at the center of the field for a respectful handshake.

But while the two players were being civil, the rest of Huaxia was having a collective ltdown.

Across every social dia platform and news site, the video of Arbok's "Dragon Transformation" was exploding. Clips of the black snake systematically dismantling a Level 97 ga Pseudo-Legendary were being shared millions of tis. The term "Dragon Pattern" beca the #1 trending search query within an hour.

The academic world was hit by a "Super-Earthquake."

Biologists and Pokémon researchers were already dissecting the footage fra by fra. How could an Arbok—a species generally considered diocre in the high-tier ta—undergo a secondary "evolution" that allowed it to bully a ga Garchomp?

Kenji's phone was vibrating non-stop. Every major research institute and university in Huaxia was sending him interview requests, desperate to know the secret behind the transformation.

Was it a unique ga Evolution? A regional variant? Or a special ability exclusive to Kenji's black Arbok?

Kenji, oblivious to the chaos his partner had caused, was currently back in the lounge, focused entirely on the next match on the screen.

On the field, Li Xisheng (the previous champion) and Zhurong Xun were locked in a fierce struggle.

Xun had opened with his Darmanitan, but Li Xisheng was no amateur. Though his first Pokémon fell to the fire ape, his second managed to force Xun to switch.

Xun's second choice was a Volcarona.

This Volcarona was even more oppressive than the Darmanitan. It had single-handedly swept through the first half of Li Xisheng's team.

As the second half began, Xun kept the moth on the field. After deleting Li's fourth Pokémon, the Volcarona finally reached its limit and was recalled.

Xun's third Pokémon was a Talonfla (Fire/Flying).

In Kenji's past life, Talonfla had been a competitive god due to its Gale Wings ability. Although that ability had been nerfed in later generations, it was still a formidable threat in this world.

Xun's Talonfla was a beast. It made short work of Li Xisheng's remaining reserve Pokémon, moving like a crimson blur across the sky.

Finally, Li Xisheng was down to his last card. He threw his final ball, and his absolute Ace appeared.

Gallade!

The "Blade Master" had entered the fray. This would be the match to determine who faced Kenji in the finals.
