[System Mission: Reach the Summit!]

Mission Requirents: Beco the true Champion of the Huaxia League by defeating the regional Elite Four and the sitting Champion, Zhurong Yun.

Mission Rewards:

For every Elite Four mber defeated: 1x Gold Hex Core Draw.

Upon defeating the sitting Huaxia League Champion: 1x Prismatic Hex Core Draw.

Ti Limit: One Year.

Failure Penalty: None.

The requirents for this new quest were straightforward: clear the Road to the Championship within 365 days.

For Kenji, this mission carried weight, but it didn't feel impossible. With the rate his Beedrill was progressing, a year was more than enough ti to prepare for the final showdown.

Kenji closed the mission log and, with a flick of his mind, pulled up the rewards screen for his Conference victory. He scanned the available draws, his heart racing as he focused on the Prismatic prize first.

Ding!!!

The Hex Core wheel spun with a low, rhythmic thrum, a kaleidoscope of rainbow-colored icons blurring before his eyes. Finally, the wheel slowed, clicking into place as a golden-bordered icon locked in.

Ding!!! Hex Core Draw Successful!!

Congratulations Host on obtaining the Prismatic Hex Core: [Reach the Peak]!!!

[Prismatic Hex Core: Reach the Peak]

Effect: When a Pokémon reaches Level 99, it will instantly and automatically ascend to Level 100.

Kenji's eyes widened, and he let out a sharp intake of breath. The description was minimalist, but the effect was nothing short of legendary.

The gap between Level 99 and Level 100 was often described as a "Heavenly Chasm." Countless Champion-tier Pokémon spent their entire lives hitting that Level 99 ceiling, never possessing the luck or the breakthrough required to step into the Master tier.

That final single level was often harder to gain than the first ninety-nine combined.

Kenji's face flushed with excitent. Even with Beedrill's monstrous talent, Kenji hadn't been 100% certain he could push it to Level 100 within a single year. But with this augnt, the path was clear.

A Level 100 Beedrill...

Even now, while still in the Champion tier, Beedrill could dismantle a Master-rank ga Gengar. Once it hit the absolute ceiling of the world, Kenji didn't just want to fight Zhurong Yun's Blaziken—he wanted to see if Beedrill could give the true Ho-Oh a reality check.

Pushing those ambitious thoughts aside for a mont, Kenji shook his head to clear the adrenaline and focused on the two remaining Gold Hex Core draws.

[Reach the Peak] was a hell of an opening act. He just hoped the Gold rewards wouldn't let him down.

"Draw!" Kenji commanded ntally.

The wheel spun again.

One second... two seconds...

The pointer slowed, vibrating slightly before settling on an icon depicting a lone, glowing silhouette standing atop a mountain of defeated foes.

Ding!!! Congratulations Host on obtaining the Gold Hex Core: [Solo Leveling]!!!

Kenji blinked, imdiately pulling up the description of the familiar-sounding na.

[Gold Hex Core: Solo Leveling]

Effect: Designate one Pokémon. For the next 30 days, your other Pokémon will be unable to gain experience or improve their strength. In exchange, the designated Pokémon will receive the combined total growth and experience of the entire team (Up to 10 teammates).

Kenji stared at the description, his mind processing the complex trade-off. Unlike the simple elegance of [Reach the Peak], [Solo Leveling] was a high-stakes tactical gamble.

To put it in perspective: if ga Beedrill earned 2,000 points of "growth" a month and the rest of the team earned 1,000 each, using this augnt on Annihilape would an the monkey would gain the entire 11,000-point pool in a single month.

It was essentially a localized ti-chamber. It allowed one Pokémon to experience a year's worth of growth in thirty days.

But the cost was absolute stagnation for the rest of the team. For one month, his other nine legends wouldn't get a single point stronger.

It was an accelerator of terrifying proportions, but it required a very specific kind of discipline.

Kenji's mind raced. Should he give it to Beedrill? It would essentially guarantee a Master-rank Ace within weeks.

He thought about it, but then slowly shook his head. Beedrill hitting Level 100 was already a certainty thanks to the Prismatic draw. He had a full year before he had to face Zhurong Yun, and he didn't want to rush the Ace's developnt if it ant leaving the others in the dust.

Kenji didn't want the final battle for the throne to be a solo show for Beedrill. He wanted a team of legends to stand beside him. He wanted everyone to have their mont in the sun.

He looked through his roster, weighing the needs of his partners. Finally, he made his choice. He would give this precious opportunity to Gyarados.

Currently, his "Finals Roster" for the Zhurong fight consisted of Beedrill, the Dragon-form Arbok, and the Mythical Darkrai.

He was still three Pokémon short of a full Champion-tier team.

Among the remaining mbers, Gyarados was the obvious choice.

First, because compared to the others, Gyarados's base potential was actually the lowest. Without the help of an XP-siphon like [Solo Leveling], it would be incredibly difficult for her to reach the required power level for the final gauntlet in just one year.

But more importantly, it was because of her heart.

Kenji had watched Gyarados since the day she evolved. She was the mber of the team with the least natural "talent," yet she was consistently the hardest worker. She trained through the rain, she fought through exhaustion, and she spent every waking hour trying to close the gap between her and the monsters like Arbok.

She was the underdog who refused to stay down.

Kenji didn't want all that sweat and blood to go to waste. He didn't want her to be a benchwarr during the most important fight of their lives.

Aside from Beedrill, Gyarados was the one Kenji wanted to see on that final stage most of all.

"System," Kenji whispered, his eyes glowing with resolve. "Apply [Solo Leveling] to Gyarados."
