The two titans lunged simultaneously. In a silent understanding born of their
shared biology, neither used a single Electric-type move. They chose instead to
settle the score with raw, unadulterated physical brutality.
Kenji's Electivire ignited its fist with searing orange flas, swinging a heavy
hook. Yuna's veteran Electivire countered by snapping an upward palm strike,
aiming to intercept the blow with a chopping force.
The moves collided with a dull thud. Ultimately, the raw stats of the level gap
proved too much; Kenji's Electivire was forced back several steps, its feet
skidding across the cracked arena floor.
Seeing the opening, Yuna's Electivire pressed the advantage. It lunged forward,
unleashing a rapid-fire sequence of Brick Breaks, its hands moving like blurring
axes.
Kenji's Electivire bobbed and weaved, pivoting on its heels. Long before today,
Kenji had recognized this Pokémon's innate talent for close-quarters combat. He
had spent months drilling it in footwork and martial techniques that went beyond
simple Pokémon moves.
Now, that training was paying off. Even while being suppressed by a higher-level
opponent, Kenji's Electivire didn't collapse. It fought a tactical retreat,
rotating its body to deflect the heaviest blows and using the veteran's own
montum against it.
Unbeknownst to Yuna, Kenji's Electivire was equipped with the Radiant Rageblade.
With every strike it parried and every second the battle dragged on, its attack
speed was stacking. Its movents were becoming smoother, faster, and more fluid
with every passing mont.
"BO-QIA! BO-QIA!"
Yuna's Electivire began to grow visibly frustrated. It swung left and right,
throwing its full weight into every strike, yet it couldn't shatter the younger
Pokémon's guard. The more it missed, the more its temper flared.
On the other side, Kenji's Electivire wasn't just defending. Its eyes were
narrowed, tracking every twitch of the veteran's muscles, waiting for the
perfect mont to deliver a decisive counter-nuke.
Yuna watched the exchange, her expression remarkably calm. She noticed the
strange phenonon—Kenji's Pokémon seed to be getting faster the longer the
fight lasted. However, she relied on the logic of the level gap. In a battle of
attrition, the Level 82 Pokémon would surely run out of gas before her Level 96
veteran.
"BO-QIA!"
Yuna's Electivire suddenly dropped low for a Low Kick. Kenji's Electivire
reacted by leaping into the air to gain distance, but it had fallen right into a
trap. As it was mid-air, the veteran's twin tails whipped out like two black
lightning bolts, coiling tightly around its legs.
SLAM!
Kenji's Electivire was yanked violently from the air, crashing into the dirt.
Before it could roll away, the veteran pounced, pinning it to the ground and
preparing to rain down a barrage of strikes.
But in that mont, the Pokémon being "pumled" didn't look afraid. In fact, it
looked ecstatic.
Zzzzzzzzz-TICK!
"What?!" Yuna gasped.
"BO-QIAAAAA!"
A sudden surge of high-voltage current erupted from the veteran's tails. In its
excitent to win, the Level 96 Electivire had unintentionally leaked its
internal electricity.
For any other Pokémon, this would have been a death sentence. But for an
Electivire with Motor Drive, it was a buffet.
Kenji's Electivire didn't just absorb the shocks—it feasted on them. Its speed,
already boosted by the Radiant Rageblade, skyrocketed under the influence of
Motor Drive. Its fatigue vanished as the stolen energy revitalized its muscles.
In the Pokémon world, Electivire literally eats electricity. The energy cubes
Kenji fed it were packed with high-density voltage. To any other type, they were
dangerous; to his Electivire, they were gourt fuel.
Yuna's Electivire realized the mistake and tried to retract its tails, but
Kenji's Pokémon grabbed them, refusing to let go. Within seconds, a massive
portion of the veteran's internal reserves was forcibly drained, siphoned away
by the "bottomless pit" beneath it.
BOOM!
Having finished its al, Kenji's Electivire kicked out with both legs,
launching the veteran across the arena. It sprang back to its feet in a single
"Kip-up" motion, its fur crackling with stolen sparks.
In contrast, Yuna's Electivire looked pale and hollowed out, as if its very soul
had been drained.
WHISH—BANG!
Now, it was Kenji's turn to go on the offensive. With the combined speed of the
Radiant Rageblade and the Motor Drive boost, the Level gap ceased to exist.
Kenji's Electivire moved so fast it appeared in three places at once.
It finished the fight with a devastating Hamr Arm, a glowing fist smashing
into the veteran with the weight of a falling mountain. Yuna's Electivire was
sent tumbling into the valley wall, leaving a massive indent in the stone.
"Bo-qia…"
The veteran slumped to the ground, unconscious.
Terrifying. Absolutely terrifying, Yuna thought, a headache forming behind her
eyes. This Electivire felt like it had been specifically designed by the heavens
to ruin her career.
What followed was a slaughter.
Kenji's Electivire didn't slow down. It stayed on the field, fueled by the
montum of its previous victory. Yuna sent out her Manectric, then her
Ampharos, and finally her Luxray.
One by one, they fell. Electivire was like an unstoppable god of thunder,
tearing through Yuna's roster from the first match all the way to the fifth. It
stood alone in the center of the valley, a heroic, invincible figure that had
effectively swept a regional Elite Four's primary team.
