Machamp's four arms were an intimidating sight, but Electivire wasn't about to
let itself be outclassed. It fell into a combat stance that mirrored the
titan's, lashing its twin black tails forward to act as supplentary limbs.
Machamp curled its lip, a low grunt escaping its throat as if mocking
Electivire's "imitation" of a four-ard master.
That was all the provocation the hot-headed Thunder Tyrant needed. Snarling,
Electivire lunged.
"BO-QIAAAAA!"
Electricity flared across its fur as it combined its speed with a high-voltage
strike.
Quick Attack Thunder Punch!
The golden blur reached Machamp in a heartbeat, the electrified fist screaming
toward the titan's head. Machamp didn't flinch; it t the assault head-on with
a Mach Punch of its own.
In close-quarters combat, the advantage of four arms was undeniable. No matter
how fast Electivire swung, it only had two fists to commit to the exchange.
Machamp, however, could throw four simultaneous punches from different angles.
It was the undisputed queen of the "infight."
But as Machamp's four fists blurred forward to intercept, Electivire's tails
suddenly snapped into action.
Like two prehensile high-voltage cables, the tails snaked around Machamp's lower
set of arms, coiling tight and locking them in place.
"MA?!"
Machamp let out a surprised bark, but there was no ti to pull free.
Electivire's primary fists were already crashing back into its guard. By
sacrificing its tails to neutralize half of Machamp's arsenal, Electivire had
forced the titan into a two-on-two brawl.
Machamp was a creature of habit; it was used to the overwhelming rhythm of
four-ard dominance. Suddenly being restricted to two arms threw its balance
into disarray.
anwhile, Kenji's Electivire was thriving. The Radiant Rageblade was now fully
stacked, its attack speed reaching a frenetic, blurred peak. It rained down a
barrage of strikes that Machamp struggled to parry.
"Machamp! Dynamic Punch!"
"CHAMP!"
The titan roared, all four arms glowing with an explosive, white-hot energy. By
channeling its entire body's weight, it detonated the energy simultaneously,
creating a localized shockwave that finally blasted Electivire's tails off its
lower arms and forced the golden brute back.
Machamp massaged its lower wrists, its eyes narrowing with cold fury. The
contact with the tails had left its muscles scorched and tingling with residual
paralysis. If the struggle had lasted another minute, its lower limbs would have
gone completely numb.
Li Xisheng watched the speed of Electivire continue to climb despite its visible
fatigue. He didn't know the chanics of the "System Item," but he knew a
disaster when he saw one. If he didn't end this now, Electivire would beco too
fast to even track.
"Machamp! Finish this! Explosive World-Ending Punch!"
"Electivire! Max power! Half-Moon Thunder teor Drop!"
Both trainers gave the command for their ultimate finishing moves.
Machamp's technique was a high-risk, high-reward nuke that combined the raw
power of Dynamic Punch with the synchronized force of all four arms.
Kenji's counter-move was a complex aerial combo: Magnet Rise for altitude,
followed by a descending rger of Hamr Arm, Thunder Punch, and Giga Impact.
"BO-QIAAAAA!"
Electivire kicked off the earth, its electromagnetic field propelling it high
into the sky. It hung in the air for a fraction of a second, its fists gathering
a terrifying amount of golden lightning that twisted into the shape of a
massive, roiling serpent.
Below, Machamp planted its feet, its four fists drawing back as it funneled
every drop of its Guts-boosted energy into its knuckles.
"BOOOOOO!"
Electivire cut the magnetic field and plumted. Gravity combined with the force
of Giga Impact turned the Pokémon into a literal teor of lightning.
"CHAMMMMMMP!"
Machamp punched upward, its four fists converging into a single point of
world-shattering pressure.
The two ultimates collided in the center of the arena.
BOOM! CRACKLE! SHATTER!
The shockwave was so violent that the ground beneath Machamp didn't just
crack—it vaporized. A massive crater ford instantly, spiderwebbing across
the entire stadium. A wall of dust and scorched air erupted outward, obscuring
everything in a gray haze.
As the roar of the explosion faded, a soft thud echoed through the silence.
The dust began to settle.
Electivire stood in the center of the pit, leaning heavily on its knees, its
breath coming in ragged gasps. Its arms hung limply at its sides, and its
Thunder Armor was gone. But its eyes were still bright with the spark of
victory.
In front of it, Machamp lay flat on its back. All four of its muscular arms were
scorched and bent at unnatural angles—the recoil of the impact and the sheer
voltage of the teor Drop had shattered its legendary guard. It was completely
unconscious.
"Machamp is unable to battle! Electivire wins!"
"With the defeat of the third Pokémon, the Northeast Elite Four has lost three
mbers! We have reached the midpoint! We will now enter a fifteen-minute
intermission!"
Kenji exhaled, raising his Poké Ball to recall his partner. The first half of
the match belonged to him. A clean 3-0 sweep.
