Ho-Oh settled in the Bell Tower to the east, while Lugia resided in the Brass Tower to the west.
They ford a deep friendship with the humans of Ecruteak.
Two Legendary Pokémon living in the sa city—such a phenonon was likely unique in the entire Pokémon world.
For the next several hundred years, humans and these two legendary beings lived peacefully together.
People of that era likely believed that this friendship would pass on to their children, then to their descendants, continuing generation after generation… forever.
But no one expected that one night, one hundred and fifty years ago, this bond that had lasted centuries would abruptly end.
A massive bolt of lightning fell from the sky and struck the Brass Tower, Lugia's residence.
Flas erupted instantly, engulfing the entire tower.
The fire burned for three days and three nights.
In the end, it was Lugia who summoned a great rainstorm to extinguish the blaze.
