After packing up and riding on Pidgeotto to the area where the mysterious ruins had descended, Chen Mo realized the situation was even worse than he had imagined.

Looking down from above—

The purple crystals were spreading across the land at a visible rate. Wherever they passed, flowers, grass, and trees were all transford into crystalline structures.

Toward the center—

The sight was even more astonishing.

The small mountain, over a hundred ters tall where the ruins had appeared, had already been completely consud by the purple crystals, gleaming under the starlit sky.

Sitting steadily on Xatu's back, Yi-ge directed the cara toward the scene, instantly sparking heated discussion in the livestream.

[It looks beautiful.]

"Beautiful my ass—do you even realize what happens if this keeps spreading?"

[Yeah… it's pretty, but also terrifying.]

[Residents nearby have already been evacuated, but honestly, if this keeps expanding, nowhere will be safe.]

[Surely it won't get that bad… right?]

[So what's causing this anyway? Teacher Mo hasn't said much since restarting the stream.]

[It's obviously Pokémon-related. And this will definitely hurt public opinion again…]

[If sothing this big is happening… it has to be a Legendary Pokémon…]

At the ntion of Legendary Pokémon, the mood turned heavy.

Everyone still rembered how easily Suicune had defeated Hydreigon.

If humans had to face a Legendary—

Even victory would co at a terrible cost.

Chen Mo glanced at the chat but said nothing.

He thought about the photos on his phone—

And the symbol representing Giratina.

Looking at the crystallized land, he let out a silent sigh.

After witnessing Suicune's power, he truly hoped Legendary Pokémon would not appear frequently in this world.

Because—

This world couldn't withstand them.

As one of the primordial Legendary Pokémon, Giratina stood near the top in both status and power.

And more importantly—

Its reputation wasn't good.

In past records, Giratina had been banished for its violent nature and was known as the "Embodint of Destruction."

Even though its portrayal in the Sinnoh stories showed so restraint—

Chen Mo still believed:

It would be best if such a being never appeared.

With heavy thoughts, Chen Mo guided Pidgeotto to a temporary base designated by Professor Zhou.

After confirming his identity—

He had barely entered when he heard loud arguing.

Monts later—

A familiar figure in a white lab coat stord out, followed by a Nidoran struggling to keep up.

As Chen Mo watched—

The researcher also noticed him: Pikachu on his shoulder, Psyduck in his arms—impossible to miss.

"It's you."

"Good evening."

Chen Mo greeted briefly.

"Where's Professor Zhou? Can I see him?"

"…He's in there, in a eting."

The researcher glanced back at the tent, clearly annoyed.

"Got it. Thanks."

Chen Mo didn't ask about his anger.

Just as the researcher was about to say sothing—

A pink, round figure approached from another direction.

It paused upon seeing Chen Mo.

"Lucky!"

It hurried over.

"Chansey…"

Chen Mo recognized it.

The researcher explained:

"This is from the Chansey group we found. Because of the crystals, they relocated here with us."

"Lucky~"

Chansey pointed at the Psyduck in Chen Mo's arms—

Asking if it needed treatnt.

Chen Mo nodded imdiately.

Before arriving, he had already used spray dicine—

But neither Psyduck nor the Unown in his bag had woken up.

So he gladly accepted the help.

"Lucky!"

Inside the tent—

A soft pink light enveloped Psyduck.

Soon—

It stirred.

Then opened its eyes.

"Lucky~"

Chansey smiled gently.

Psyduck held its head, looked around—

"Quack?"

"Looks like it's fine."

Chen Mo relaxed.

It had likely just overexerted itself.

Chansey's healing really was incredible.

Then—

Chen Mo took out the unconscious Unown.

"Chansey, can you treat this one too?"

"Lucky~"

Chansey nodded confidently.

The researcher, noticing the Unown, beca serious.

"This Unown…?"

Chen Mo gestured at Psyduck.

"You'll have to ask it."

Psyduck stared blankly.

(⊙.⊙)

No matter how they questioned it—

"Quack?"

It clearly had no idea.

Even Pikachu gave up translating.

"…Forget it."

Chen Mo stopped the researcher before Psyduck got stressed again.

The researcher sighed.

"…Hu Chengliang is still inside."

"…."

Chen Mo stayed silent.

After calming down, the researcher looked at the Unown again.

And then—

Sothing felt wrong.

Too long.

Chansey had healed Psyduck in seconds.

But now—

Minutes had passed.

The Unown hadn't woken up.

"…Sothing's off."

Both noticed.

Chansey grew nervous, trying multiple healing thods—

None worked.

"Lucky!"

Determined, it considered sothing drastic.

Chen Mo quickly stopped it.

"Don't. Using Healing Wish would hurt you."

Healing Wish—

A final move that sacrifices the user to fully heal another.

Chansey hesitated.

"Lucky…"

It looked defeated.

Then—

It explained sothing and ran out of the tent.

"What's it doing?"

the researcher asked.

"It said the Unown's condition is strange. It's going to get help."

"…I see."

But Chen Mo frowned.

According to [Detection Eye], the Unown was "normal."

But—

Just like Suicune had interfered with the system—

Unown might also defy its readings.

After all—

They were ancient, mysterious beings tied to creation itself.

And together—

Their power was terrifying.

The crystallized forest was proof.

"Lucky!" "Happy!"

Voices ca from outside.

Turning—

They saw a Blissey leading a large group of Chansey into the tent.

It quickly beca a sea of pink.

"Happy~"

Blissey recognized Chen Mo and Pikachu, smiling and waving.

"They brought the whole Chansey group,"

the researcher said.

"…Wait."

Chen Mo frowned.

"Are there other camps?"

"There are. But all the Chansey are stationed here."

Chen Mo froze.

Sothing was wrong.

This was clearly the sa group he had t before.

There should have been three Blissey leaders.

But now—

Only one.

Seeing his confusion, the researcher sighed.

"There were three."

"But after the crystallization began…"

"Most of the Chansey group disappeared."

"Only this Blissey and a few mbers remain."
