As Natsui approached, Sabrina turned and looked at the Scyther swarm, which was still standing frozen in place.
"Are we just going to leave like this? These Scyther have lost their leader. What will they do now?"
Hearing her say this, Natsui looked at Sabrina in surprise.
These were not words he would have expected to co from her mouth. They sounded more like sothing he would say.
But on second thought, it wasn't surprising. After all, she had spent a long ti with him, they had been through so much together, and their relationship had grown closer. Unconsciously, her personality had been slowly influenced.
As she changed, the two of them found more common ground. Even their perspectives on things would beco more and more aligned as ti went on.
"Don't worry about them. They won't die out," Natsui shrugged, unconcerned. "This world is just that cruel, always full of surprises, both good and bad. They won't wait until tomorrow; they'll probably hold a new battle to choose a new leader tonight. Even that defeated Scyther, upon hearing the news, might sneak back to challenge for the leadership position once it has recovered."
Sabrina nodded lightly.
She had only asked out of curiosity. In truth, she felt no sympathy for these Scyther. Now that Natsui had explained it, her question was answered, and she lost interest.
Pushing aside the branches, the two of them walked out of the forest.
Natsui took a Poké Ball from his belt, and without him doing anything, the ball suddenly vanished with a 'whoosh'.
It turned out that by capturing the Scyther, he now had a thirteenth Pokémon. According to the Pokémon League's rules and the settings of his belt, once the carrying limit was exceeded, the extra Poké Ball had to be transported back to the Sakuragi Institute.
After much thought, he had ultimately chosen to send back Blastoise's Poké Ball.
After all, he already had Gyarados among his Water-type Pokémon, and their typings overlapped slightly. After weighing the options, he had to send Blastoise back.
Just then, his phone regained its signal and vibrated. Natsui took it out and saw that he had received a ssage from Professor Ivy while he was in the forest.
In addition to the ssage, his phone also notified him that she had called him half an hour ago.
Strange, why would she be looking for ?
Although puzzled, Natsui didn't call her back right away. Instead, he first sent a ssage to Koharu.
In the ssage, he told her about Blastoise and asked her to help take care of it.
Koharu replied almost instantly.
Koharu: Don't worry, I'll take good care of it. I'll go to the Sakuragi Park right after school~
At the end, she even added a cute smiley face.
Natsui felt a warmth in his heart, but also found it amusing. Wasn't Koharu supposed to be a good student? How dare she reply to a ssage during class ti?
Shaking his head with a slight headache, he looked up and saw Sabrina watching him with a aningful gaze. His heart tightened, and he quickly wiped the smile off his face, lowered his head with a serious expression, and opened Professor Ivy's ssage.
Ever since their relationship had progressed, Sabrina had beco very protective of him. Any sign of him flirting with other girls was definitely not allowed.
Natsui couldn't be happier about this, so why would he mind?
After all, the more she was like this, the more important he was in her heart.
Seeing that he wasn't acting strangely, Sabrina withdrew her gaze with satisfaction.
Catching this out of the corner of his eye and seeing that all was calm, Natsui let out a long sigh of relief and finally focused his attention on the text ssage.
At first glance, Professor Ivy's ssage was quite long. After a quick scan, he realized that she had called first, and then sent the ssage when she couldn't get through.
The content of the ssage wasn't anything major. It was just that her and Professor Oak's research on Shamouti Island was complete, and they had published the final paper. She was specifically telling him this news.
At the very bottom of the ssage, Professor Ivy had included a URL. When Natsui clicked on it, he was redirected to an authoritative science website.
The page directly displayed the paper published by Professor Oak and Professor Ivy.
Natsui read it carefully and found that compared to the first draft, the current paper had a lot of new content. The only things that remained unchanged were his butterfly effect theory and his na in the credits.
How to describe it? He felt quite excited, but other than that, he didn't feel much else.
It was just an extra title, like an assistant or sothing, which made no difference to his life.
However, after thinking about it, he still called both Professor Oak and Professor Ivy.
When Professor Oak answered, they only exchanged a few pleasantries. Since they didn't have much in common, there wasn't much to talk about. However, in their brief chat, Natsui could still hear a hint of ntorship in Professor Oak's words.
He figured that Professor Oak knew that after winning the Indigo Plateau Conference, if Natsui continued to grow, his future would be limitless.
Although with Professor Oak's current social status, there was no need for him to curry favor with anyone, being on good terms with Natsui was not a bad thing, so why not?
Compared to him, Professor Ivy was much more enthusiastic.
She had a woman's delicate touch, and talking with her was a pleasant experience. She even cracked a few jokes from ti to ti.
At the end of the call, she warmly invited Natsui to visit her laboratory if he had the ti.
With Sabrina right beside him, Natsui naturally didn't dare to say much and just gave a few vague replies.
After hanging up, he saw that Sabrina was getting a bit impatient. He put an arm around her shoulder and smiled, "Sorry to keep you waiting. It's ti for us to get going."
Seeing him about to summon Charizard, Sabrina said, "Wait, let's take a different mode of transport. I'm getting a bit tired of the view from flying all the ti."
Hearing her say this, Natsui thought for a mont, then pointed towards the town. "Speaking of which, I saw a passenger ship at the town's port just now. Why don't we go there and see if there are any suitable routes?"
Sabrina naturally had no objections, so the two of them retraced their steps and returned to the town on Murcott Island.
Before long, they passed through the town and reached a small port.
Even before they got close, they saw a dium-sized passenger ship, about three or four stories high, docked in the bay.
Upon inquiring, they learned that the ship's next stop was Navel Island. And Navel Island was just across the sea from their destination, Trovita Island, making it very close.
