Hearing Natsui say this, Dr. Quackenpoker hesitated. Although he was anxious about the captured Magikarp, he was, after all, just an ordinary watcher and not skilled in Pokémon battles…

He looked at Natsui and the others and said urgently, "Please, can you rescue those Magikarp?"
"You even have to ask!?" Ash turned his cap around and pointed at the Magikarp submarine. "How could we just stand by and let this happen? Go, Pikachu! Defeat those terrible guys!"
"We'll help too!"
Misty and Tracey also sent out their Pokémon. Misty sent out Starmie, and Tracey sent out his Marill.
As soon as they appeared, the Pokémon charged nacingly toward the Magikarp submarine.
Pikachu first jumped onto Ash's shoulder, then leaped from his arm onto Starmie, using it as a vehicle to ride the waves.
As for Marill, although small, it was also very powerful.

They had thought the operation would go smoothly, but now, under the assault from Natsui and the others, the situation was still precarious.

Ash and Tracey were dumbfounded. A submarine that could transform was completely beyond their expectations.
"Haha, we ca prepared!" Hearing Ash's reaction, Jessie's arrogant voice reached their ears. "Don't think you're the only ones who can evolve! Have a taste of our cha-Gyarados's power!"
