Now reading: Chapter 521 520: Oh no, I'm the Villain from Pokémon Legend, a Action novel by LIZBETH.

The battle was relatively simple. Although Sunny was full of confidence, and his Heracross was strong for his age, Natsui's Eevee used its superior agility to constantly move around, never giving Heracross a chance to use its strength. After wearing it down, Eevee won easily with a single Swift.

The truth was, Heracross's trainer, Sunny, was just a kid. His strategy was very childish: just attack, attack, and attack again. And it was precisely because of this that Natsui was able to find an opening. It was an easy win, not because of a difference in the Pokémon's strength, but a complete domination in strategy and thinking.

"Huh? The Weekday Sibling lost?"

The kids watching whispered among themselves when they saw Heracross fall. Only then did they turn their attention to Natsui. They had all been cheering for Sunny and had been impressed by Eevee's agility, but they had a blind faith that he would make a coback. They never expected him to just... lose. They looked at Natsui with surprise, wondering who he was.

"You idiot! You couldn't even land a single hit on that Eevee! How embarrassing! Let show you how it's done."

Santos, who was ten years old, pushed his younger brother aside. He was more experienced and much more confident. In his eyes, Natsui's Eevee wasn't that tough. His little brother was just clumsy, which was why he had lost so badly.

"Co on out, my Pokémon!"

Santos threw his Poké Ball, and a Houndour appeared on the field.

Natsui had fought its evolved form, Houndoom, many tis against Team Rocket. Houndour's abilities were much weaker in comparison. He was very familiar with how to handle this kind of Pokémon. He decided not to switch out and let his Eevee, which was still in good condition, continue to battle.

When the battle began, Natsui found that although Santos's Houndour wasn't evolved, it was trickier than the Heracross. In terms of physical stats, Houndour and Eevee were similar. If you were to classify them, both would be canine Pokémon with similar habits and abilities. So, he couldn't rely on just dodging and weaving this ti. This would co down to the Pokémon's raw strength and the trainer's commands.

And when it ca to commanding, Natsui was far better than Santos.

The two Pokémon fought in a flurry, using a variety of moves. After a long battle, both were covered in wounds. Finally, after one last clash of moves, Houndour fainted, while Eevee, with its stronger willpower, wobbled for a mont but remained standing, the last one left.

Overall, they were two fairly easy battles, and Natsui didn't feel much joy in winning.

Having suffered the sa fate as his brother, a disappointed Santos walked to the side, and Monica took his place. She wasn't surprised at all that her two younger brothers had lost. Her other, older siblings had already lost to this person before; what chance did these two kids have? Even she didn't expect to win. But she stood there anyway. Even if she couldn't win, battling such a strong trainer was good experience for both her and her Pokémon.

"It's my turn," Monica said with a smile. "If you beat , it ans all of the Weekday Siblings have lost to you. Not many people can say they've done that."

Natsui didn't underestimate the woman, who was five or six years older than him. The oldest sibling was often the most experienced, mature, and difficult to deal with.

Sure enough, when Monica's Pokémon appeared, Natsui could tell from its aura alone that it was special. It was a shiny Flygon. Its unusual body color made it stand out. Flygon wasn't a native Pokémon of Kanto or Johto. Having such a partner ant Monica had probably traveled to other regions, which made her even more formidable.

But... a shiny Pokémon. Natsui was so envious he could almost taste it. When will I ever catch a shiny Pokémon?

Shaking off the thought, he looked at the Ground- and Dragon-type Pokémon and considered who to send out. In the end, he chose his Dragonite. If they were both Dragon-types, then neither should back down. It would be a battle of dragons.

Seeing him send out Dragonite, Monica was a little surprised. Dragon-types were super effective against each other. Neither had an advantage, and it was easy for things to go wrong. Is this guy that confident?

Just then, Sunny shouted from the side, "Go, sis!"

Santos also yelled, "You have to get revenge for us and our other brothers and sisters!"

Hearing that, Monica didn't react, but Natsui's brow twitched. Revenge? Why does that make sound like the villain? He had only accepted their challenges, which was a normal part of being a trainer. Why were these kids making him out to be the bad guy?

Even the other children, seeing the Weekday Siblings lose twice, started to shout.

"Go, Miss Monica!"

"Weekday Siblings, you're the best!"

"Miss Monica, you have to beat this guy!"

As locals, they naturally favored the famous Weekday Siblings.

On the other side, Monica first quieted her brothers, then gave Natsui an apologetic look. It was normal for them to want her to get revenge for their loss. But with the crowd yelling, it started to feel like they were all ganging up on him. That went against their family's principles. But since she didn't know these kids, she couldn't really say anything.
