"Now, you finally have nowhere to run!" Seeing this, Natsui let out a long breath and then commanded, "Gyarados, let's end this! Hydro Pump!"

A thick and powerful stream of water ford in Gyarados's mouth and, like a large-caliber cannonball, struck Ninetales's body.

With its body caught in the bite, Ninetales had no way to dodge and could only endure the full force of this high-damage Water-type attack!

"Mr. Blaine, I'm terribly sorry!" Natsui apologized sincerely. "I accidentally ssed up your field like this!"

"It's alright. If the gym is destroyed, it can be rebuilt. As long as you all are not injured, that's what matters," Blaine said, unconcerned. "However, it looks like the final match will have to be held in a different location!"

The group exited through the tunnel, returned to the inn, and after a short rest, followed Blaine towards the volcano.

Following the winding and rugged mountain path, they climbed higher and higher, eventually arriving at the crater of the Cinnabar Volcano!

Looking at the churning magma below his feet, Brock asked worriedly, "Is it really okay to battle here? Aren't you afraid of causing an eruption?"

"Don't be nervous," Blaine smiled. "I'm not only an expert on Fire-type Pokémon but also an expert on volcanoes. Although this volcano has been a bit active recently, it won't erupt anyti soon."

Hearing his assurance, Natsui walked to the edge of the crater and surveyed this replacent battlefield.

As the blue light faded, Wartortle appeared on a stone pillar inside the volcano.

"Wartortle! Tortle!"

"A Wartortle?" Looking at it, Blaine frowned. "I was expecting a stronger Pokémon. I didn't think it would be just a not-yet-fully-evolved Wartortle. I don't understand, why did you decide to send it out?"

"Such a rare opportunity, of course I want it to get so training," Natsui said, recalling Wartortle's Poké Ball, completely unconcerned. "Maybe Wartortle isn't a match for Magmar, but I still have one more chance anyway. Even if it loses, it can still be considered to have worn down Magmar's stamina."

"Magmar, use Fire Punch!"

Wartortle shot a Water Gun from its mouth straight at Magmar. However, Magmar endured the damage and, with a few leaps, rushed up to Wartortle.

Unfortunately, Natsui was not Ash, and Wartortle was not Pikachu.
