"Kid, you're a trainer from outside, aren't you?"
"Do you know what's happening over there?"
The man's tone was anything but friendly.
Sora had no interest in responding.
He simply patted Ursaluna's head and prepared to ignore them.
He didn't recognize the pair.
After all, the events of the movie tiline were distant in his mory.
The only people he still clearly rembered from the Azoth Kingdom were the princess, the prince, and the villainous minister Jarvis.
As for these two henchn—Doka and Yisha—
they barely registered in his recollection.
"Glalie, use Ice Beam!"
A blue-white beam shot down without warning, freezing the path ahead into a thick wall of ice and forcing Ursaluna to halt.
"Rrrr…"
A blood-red glint flashed in Ursaluna's single eye.
He was not a gentle Pokémon.
Toward Sora's companions, he was a kind elder.
Toward strangers?
There was no such thing as "strangers."
Without Sora's restraint, everyone else would simply be potential threats.
Now this situation—
No warning.
Just an Ice Beam fired directly at them.
What exactly were they trying to do?
"Take one more step forward," Doka said coldly, "and I can't guarantee your safety."
As he spoke, icy energy gathered again in Glalie's mouth, clearly preparing another attack.
Killing intent.
Sora's gaze sharpened.
He realized what Glalie was targeting.
Not Ursaluna.
Him.
A trainer's Pokémon… aiming an attack at a human?
"Shoot them down."
Sora's expression turned dark as he gave the command.
But his target wasn't the aircraft.
It was the floating Glalie.
BOOM!
A golden Hyper Beam erupted skyward, engulfing Glalie before it had any chance to dodge.
Before the light even faded, the Pokémon was already falling— slamming into the ground below.
One shot.
Instant knockout.
No suspense whatsoever.
"What?!"
With a single attack, their main Pokémon had been taken out.
Only then did Doka and Yisha realize they had kicked a steel plate.
"Ursaluna."
Sora looked up at the two figures in the sky.
Beneath him, Ursaluna began gathering another beam of destructive energy.
He didn't fire it.
He simply held it in his mouth as a warning.
"Get down."
Sora's voice was calm— but the killing intent within it felt tangible.
"If you release another Pokémon, the next shot lands on you."
"This guy…"
Doka stared into Sora's steady eyes.
"Is he serious?"
As rcenaries, Doka and Yisha were far from innocent.
Their hands had been stained with human blood before.
Because of that, they could recognize the truth in Sora's attitude.
He would actually kill them.
Just as they hadn't been joking earlier.
"Didn't you hear ?" Sora said coldly.
He had already been in a conflicted mood over the Magearna situation.
This provocation pushed him over the edge.
Royalty or not—he didn't care.
In this world, nobles only had authority within their own territory.
Outside the Azoth Kingdom, who could control him?
"Don't make repeat myself."
What could they say now?
For a mont, Doka and Yisha even wondered if they had run into fellow rcenaries.
Because what ordinary trainer used lethal threats against humans?
But Ursaluna's pressure was overwhelming.
That earlier Hyper Beam had been terrifying.
They had never seen such power before.
And just as Sora said—
They could release more Pokémon.
But the result would simply be facing another blast.
Even if all their Pokémon fought together, they might barely withstand it.
And would they have ti?
Obviously not.
Their mistake had been underestimating him.
"Skirt-Buddy."
Sora ordered Lilligant to bind the two n with vines.
Victini moved even faster.
Before they could think of a counterasure, she had already stolen every Poké Ball from their bodies.
Thirteen in total.
Including the unconscious Glalie, that made fourteen Pokémon— more than double the standard six-Pokémon team.
"Who are you?"
"Answer honestly," Sora said, locking the Poké Balls to prevent them from opening.
"Or things get unpleasant."
A locked Poké Ball didn't completely restrain Pokémon— strong ones could still break out eventually.
But Sora's intention wasn't long-term imprisonnt.
Pokémon were obedient creatures.
Once captured, they tended to follow their trainer's commands.
Locking the balls served as a signal:
Stay put.
"I'll leave them to you, V."
With Victini present, even if one escaped, it wouldn't cause trouble.
Now that the Pokémon issue was handled, Sora turned his attention back to the restrained rcenaries.
"Now I ask. You answer."
"Who are you?"
"Why did you attack ?"
Attack you?
That was rich.
But they couldn't exactly claim it had been a joke.
They really had attacked first.
"Release us," Yisha shouted.
"Or Lord Jarvis won't let you get away with this!"
Jarvis.
The na instantly unlocked a flood of mories.
"So… you're his subordinates."
Sora finally recognized them.
At the sa ti, he felt relieved that he had acted first and confiscated their Poké Balls.
Because these two possessed a dangerous ability—
They could forcibly trigger ga Evolution without following the normal rules.
Ursaluna was incredibly strong.
But against fourteen ga-Evolved Pokémon, even he might struggle.
And more importantly—
He might not be able to protect Sora in the chaos.
Even with Victini and Lilligant assisting, safety wouldn't be guaranteed.
