Peter froze.

His gaze locked onto a particular Egg.

Peter raised an eyebrow.

"System. In this world… can Eevee transform into a Partner form?"

System: "No comnt."

"I'll give you 2 Master Points."

"Too little."

"Ten."

"Deal."

Peter: …

Of course.

Partner Eevee—the exclusive chanic from Let's Go! Eevee—was legendary.

With deep bonds, Eevee could unlock enhanced base stats and absurdly broken Partner Moves:

Bouncy Bubble (Water): 90 power, restores 50% of damage dealt.Buzzy Buzz (Electric): 100% paralysis.Sizzly Slide (Fire): 100% burn.

And many more.

A single thought echoed in Peter's mind:

Who could possibly reject an adorable Eevee?

Especially a potentially Partner-form Eevee.

"It's her."

The elderly caretaker smiled warmly.

"Please treat the little one well."

Peter completed the registration and walked out with the Egg cradled carefully.

"Looks like you've found sothing special," Professor Cerise greeted him outside.

"Very special," Peter nodded.

He placed Eevee's Egg into Happiny's portable incubator.

Happiny's Egg itself was close to hatching.

Watching the two Eggs gently bob in nutrient solution, Peter felt a strange heaviness.

Add in the still-bottle-feeding Teddiursa…

He was basically a full-ti dad now.

Fortunately—

Whitney was by his side.

Indeedee handled the children.

Miltank handled the milk.

Perfect division of labor.

-----

They flew to Vermilion City.

Cerise handed over Swellow's Poké Ball.

"Once you return to Indigo Plateau, just send it back through the transfer system."

"Thanks again," Peter said.

But instead of heading straight back—

He followed the map to Vermilion City School.

Earlier, he'd chatted with Cerise about his daughter, Chloe.

She was currently in elentary school.

Which ant—

The tiline had shifted.

Ash and Goh were no longer the sa age.

Finally.

Traveling for 25 years and still being 10 was too absurd.

Peter hadn't asked out of creepy interest.

He needed confirmation.

The state of Goh.

Because as a true Pokémon fan—

If you transmigrate into the Pokémon world—

You may fail to beco famous.

You may fail to build a harem.

But—

You must humble Goh.

Don't ask why.

Faith.

-----

Noon approached.

Peter waited outside the school gates.

The bell rang.

Children stread out.

With veteran Pokémon-fan instincts—

And instinctive disdain—

Peter spotted him instantly.

Brown skin.

Blue eyes.

ssy cowlick.

Two red streaks dyed into his side hair.

Like an overconfident class representative.

Peter clicked his tongue internally.

Beside him walked Chloe, pink braided hair swaying gently.

"I've already decided," Goh announced arrogantly. "My first Pokémon will be w—the ancestor of all Pokémon. Those starters you guys want? Weaklings."

"w? That's impossible to catch," one kid muttered.

Goh scoffed. "Just because you can't doesn't an I can't. Maybe you should reflect on yourselves. After all this schooling, have you actually studied? Have you tried hard?"

The other kids' faces darkened.

They walked away.

"Goh, that's a bit harsh…" Chloe tried to say.

"What? I'm right. Incompetence is incompetence."

Chloe shook her head and left too.

Goh strutted alone down the road.

He turned into a quiet alley.

The light flickered.

His vision blurred.

And he collapsed.

Monts later—

Peter stepped out from the shadows.

He carried the unconscious Goh to a Pokémon Center.

"Nurse, I need assistance."

Nurse Joy looked up—

Peter flashed his Professor ID.

"I'm conducting research into Pokémon breeding. Could I acquire so pheromones?"

"How much do you require?"

"Enough to stimulate reproduction in a large wild Pokémon population… say, one hundred cycles. Female, human-like egg group preferred."

"Of course, Professor. One mont."

Soon—

Peter walked out with a sack of pheromone powder.

Pheromones—external hormones.

In nature, they signaled mating season.

Maximized attraction.

Triggered reproductive behavior.

In the Pokémon world—

The Ultra Beast Pheromosa secreted pheromones capable of enchanting nearly any living being.

In the ani—

Even Team Rocket's owth beca… well…

A simp.

In other words—

Pheromones had nothing to do with vice.

But they could make one hundred male Mamoswine circle a single female.

Peter stuffed the unconscious Goh and a hundred doses of pheromones into a burlap sack.

The fragrance instantly spread.

Peter glanced down.

For a brief, terrifying mont—

Goh looked almost… attractive.

"Geez… no wonder Pheromosa can srize everything…"

He sealed the sack quickly.

Swellow soared into the sky.

Peter selected a mountainous area known for wild Machamp populations.

He cut open a few small holes in the sack—

And dropped it.

Before flying off, he glanced down.

Blue-skinned, muscular Machamp erged one by one.

Their eyes turned pink.

Focused entirely on the descending sack.

Rip—

The burlap tore.

In an instant—

Dozens of Machamp surrounded it.

The sounds that followed were… indescribable.

Peter shuddered violently.

"…Ugh."

Yet—

He couldn't help glancing twice.

A single word surfaced in his mind.

Totem stacking.

Faith fulfilled.
