After piecing everything together, Paul finally lowered his head and walked toward Torterra.

Rain-soaked strands of hair clung awkwardly to his face. He looked battered—but his eyes were different.

No longer arrogant.

No longer dismissive.

They burned.

Hot. Focused.

"Old partner… looks like we finally t a real opponent."

"Tort…"

Torterra's deep voice rumbled in response.

-----

Second Floor, Pokémon Center

Peter stood by the window, watching the courtyard below.

A faint smile curved his lips.

"Looks like I don't need to worry about him anymore…"

Behind him, Whitney sat on the bed, hugging her knees.

Her tone was slightly sour.

"I feel like you care more about him than ."

Peter blinked. "Huh? Do I?"

"Of course you do! I was literally naked… and you were staring out the window at Paul!"

She rolled herself up in the blanket dramatically.

"You're not allowed on the bed tonight! Hmph!"

"Wait—no—Babe, I was wrong! I'm sorry!"

-----

The Next Morning

Peter woke up on the sofa.

He gently nudged Whitney, who was sprawled across him in deep sleep, and finally managed to breathe again.

Sotis… too much softness could be dangerous.

He'd nearly suffocated.

Although he wasn't allowed on the bed last night, Whitney had quietly joined him on the sofa anyway.

Classic tsundere behavior.

Seeing that dawn had barely broken, Peter carefully carried her back to the bed, wrapped his arms around her waist, and closed his eyes.

His consciousness sank into the Dream Space.

The Upgraded Dream Box

Since upgrading the Master Dream Box, Peter hadn't explored it properly.

The glowing e-sports training room still shimred with refracted light. Eight computer stations lined the walls.

Before Peter even assigned tasks, the system automatically generated them:

Skill Training Initiated:

Rufflet – Acrobatics

Arboliva – Light Screen

Lopunny – Flatter

Slaking – Earthquake

Indeedee – Baton Pass

Zoroark – Confuse Ray

Teddiursa – Belly Drum

On each Pokémon's screen, appropriate "training content" appeared.

Rufflet was watching circus acrobat performances.

Arboliva studied Ultraman deploying energy barriers.

Lopunny replayed a cody sketch about exaggerated flattery.

Indeedee watched a legendary tale about perseverance and inheritance.

Zoroark studied optical illusion chanics and psychological disruption.

And Slaking?

Scrolling short videos.

News footage of a certain island nation recklessly discharging nuclear wastewater—followed by catastrophic earthquakes, typhoons, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and total collapse.

Peter slowly nodded.

"Earthquake training… sure."

Then he glanced at Teddiursa's screen.

"…Thirty-eight thods of assisting pig delivery and postpartum sow care?"

Teddiursa blinked curiously at the educational content, patting its round belly, which indeed puffed out rhythmically.

Peter stared.

"…You know what? If it works, it works."

He gave a silent thumbs-up.

-----

The Mitic Training Chamber

With the others training, Peter stepped into the newest room.

The Mitic Chamber.

Here, the system would generate the most suitable ecological environnt for each Pokémon's growth.

Peter hesitated.

"Can it simulate environnts for eggs too?"

He used system permissions to transfer the two eggs from reality into the chamber.

Scanning detected Pokémon Eggs. Matching optimal environnt…

The eggs floated from his hands.

The room split into two separate domains.

Peter could move between them by thought alone.

Domain One — The Crescent Isle

A solitary island in the middle of a tranquil sea.

A crescent moon hung overhead.

Blissey's egg rested in a cradle at the center, wrapped in soft blankets.

Moonlight poured down.

For a mont—

Peter saw a faint silhouette in the sky.

Pale yellow.

Soft blue.

Light pink.

The air shimred.

"Cresselia?!" he whispered.

He blinked.

Nothing.

But instinct told him—

Blissey was dreaming beautifully inside the egg.

Happiny ♀ Lv.0 (Egg Form)

Ability: Serene Grace (Secondary effects doubled)

Potential: 198 / 220

Egg Moves: Gravity, Heal Bell, Counter

Description:

Simulated to hatch on Fullmoon Island, ho of Cresselia, the Lunar Pokémon. Bathed in dream energy, this Happiny's heart grows purer, its understanding of happiness deepens. It will bring fortune to itself and its allies.

"So that's it…"

The system had simulated Fullmoon Island.

Cresselia's domain.

A Pokémon of happiness and good dreams—perfect resonance with Happiny's nature.

Peter gently applied nutrient essence to the shell.

"I'm really looking forward to you, little one."

Domain Two — The Convergence

Eevee's environnt was far more complex.

The egg rested atop a raised platform.

Around it—

A volcanic field.

A glacial tundra.

A lush forest.

A thunderstorm-ridden plateau.

A roaring waterfall.

A mystic, fairy-lit glade.

A sun-blazed adow.

A moon-drenched grove.

Above, sun and moon hung in delicate equilibrium.

Eight evolutionary energies.

Balanced.

Nurturing.

Eevee ♀ Lv.0 (Egg Form, Near Hatching)

Ability: Adaptability (STAB multiplier increases to 2x)

Potential: 324 / 325

Peter nodded.

This Eevee belonged to the Balanced Path.

Every stat nearly equal.

Every elent accepted.

When it beca Partner Eevee in the future—

It would master all Partner Moves effortlessly.

He applied nutrient essence once more.

Then exited the space.

He didn't see what happened after he left.

The chamber shifted again.

New terrains ford.

Earth.

Steel.

Storm winds.

Shadow.

Fighting aura.

Poison mists.

Swarming insects.

And—

A vast, suffocating Dragon's presence.

Progress

Thanks to the extended four-hour Dream duration, skill progression accelerated dramatically.

Peter skipped simulated battles today to focus entirely on skill mastery.

Most of his team had already pushed Learned techniques close to Mastered tier.

Two to three skills per Pokémon showed significant advancent.

The growth was visible.

And the future—

Was accelerating.
