As the ship's horn sounded, a cruise liner sailed away.
A burly man with blond hair, dressed in military green camouflage, leaned back comfortably in the captain's cabin of the port, sipping on a cola.
He turned on the massive LCD screen in front of him, and Lt. Surge rubbed his hands together, grinning as he said:
"Ah... this is the life!"
Suddenly, the cola on the table floated into the air on its own, and the hands of the wall clock froze in place.
Lt. Surge narrowed his eyes, subtly pulling a small knife from his sleeve.
"Creak—"
The mont the door opened, Lt. Surge swiftly threw the knife at the intruder.
Whoosh!
The sound of the blade cutting through the air echoed, but the knife was halted mid-flight by an unseen force before clattering to the ground.
A slender woman with long black hair walked in and sat down on the couch, glancing at Lt. Surge.
"Is this how you greet an old friend?"
Lt. Surge paused for a mont, then chuckled awkwardly, scratching his head. "Sorry, force of habit."
Noticing Sabrina's shoulder-length black hair, Lt. Surge raised an eyebrow.
"You dyed your hair back?"
"No filming schedule, so I decided to change it back," Sabrina shrugged.
"You, on the other hand, seem to be living quite comfortably."
"Not bad. I play so gas, deal with a few gym challengers now and then," Lt. Surge yawned. "Just lacking so motivation, though."
"I wish I could be as carefree as you," Sabrina sighed.
"Heh," Lt. Surge handed her a controller. "Wanna give it a try?"
"No thanks," Sabrina pushed the controller away.
"I ca to tell you that Giovanni seems to be scouting for new executives again."
"That's none of my business anymore," Lt. Surge said indifferently.
"I'd advise you to focus on your acting career."
"Being a celebrity is... much more comfortable than being a wanted criminal."
"Maybe," Sabrina sighed, crossing her legs and resting her chin on her hand. She gestured toward Lt. Surge.
"So, is the ga fun?"
"Crushing noobs is always fun, and I don't even have to pay for arena repairs," Lt. Surge chuckled.
"You wanna play? You can import team compositions and customize your character."
Sabrina blinked in surprise.
Wait... you can change clothes and customize your appearance?!
Sabrina nodded seriously.
After an hour of outfit changes, she finally entered the matchmaking interface.
Lt. Surge rubbed his chin. "A trainer from the Touran region?"
Sabrina lifted her gaze, calmly stating, "The new recruit Giovanni invited is also from Touran."
Lt. Surge nodded, though he didn't seem to be paying much attention. Instead, his expression shifted slightly as he muttered:
"Could it be... that guy who crushed the Elite Four in the Master division?!"
"Is he strong?" Sabrina asked.
"Don't know," Lt. Surge shook his head.
"His command skills and team composition are top-tier, but I'm not sure about his practical battle skills."
By "practical battle," Lt. Surge ant life-or-death, no-holds-barred combat.
In that field, the only ones he acknowledged were Giovanni and Red.
"Command skills, huh..."
Sabrina murmured, her dark eyes glinting as if recalling sothing. She smiled faintly.
"Let give it a try."

In a six-pick-four double battle, Sabrina led with Hatterene and Indeedee.
Natsu, on the other hand, chose the sa team composition.
This decision left the viewers stunned.
"Natsu-sensei is going head-to-head with a Psychic-type Gym Leader in command skills?"
"Bros, Natsu-sensei is about to serve us another feast!"
"Our backup team isn't weaker than theirs."
Natsu-sensei calmly explained, "Besides... our moveset has a special trick!"
The long-haired girl calmly raised her hand.
Hatterene, resembling a mushroom, glowed with a magical aura as Expanding Force enveloped the entire battlefield!
Natsu imdiately shouted:
"Indeedee, use Imprison!"
Imprison: Traps the user in a sealed state, preventing the opponent's Pokémon from using any moves that the user knows.
"???"
"Using Imprison in a mirror match? Natsu-sensei, are you even human?!"
But Sabrina was prepared. She commanded Hatterene, with its Magic Bounce ability, to deflect Indeedee's light waves.
"Whoa, Indeedee's Imprison missed!"
"Hahaha, typical Natsu-sensei, even Imprison can miss!"
Under Magic Coat, Imprison was reflected back at Natsu-sensei, turning the tide of the battle!
"Natsu-sensei is done for!"
"Miss Sabrina is too strong, she even predicted Natsu-sensei's Imprison..."
At that mont, Natsu smiled.
"Hatterene, shield Indeedee!"
Facing the incoming light waves, a mirror-like barrier ford around Natsu's Hatterene.
Magic Bounce activated!
Imprison was reflected back onto Sabrina's Pokémon!
"What?! How is that even possible?!"
"I predicted your prediction of my prediction?"
"I'm convinced, Natsu-sensei is playing 4D chess!"
The battle shifted dramatically.
Natsu sent out Dusclops, and the eerie Trick Room distorted the battlefield.
Speed seed to reverse as the roaring Rhyperior, eyes bloodshot, stomped the ground with earth-shattering force.
Earthquake instantly swallowed Sabrina's Pokémon!
"Damn, this is a massacre!"
"Oh no, Rhyperior just killed its own teammate!"
"To avoid Rock Slide missing, Natsu-sensei used Earthquake to kill his own teammate. What dedication!"
Sabrina's backup Pokémon, Wobbuffet and Mr. Mi, were no match for the rampaging Rhyperior.
Even with dual screens up, they couldn't withstand Rhyperior's onslaught.
As a Rock Slide missed, Natsu's Dusclops was caught in Destiny Bond and fell.
In the end, Natsu won the battle 4:2.
"This was so satisfying! Is this what Heavy Space is all about?!"
"Natsu-sensei, stop killing them, it's scary!"
"Whoa, I've learned so much. I'm going to challenge Blue Oak now!"
Though the strategy wasn't overly dirty, the sheer brutality of the gaplay was highly entertaining.
Plus, Dusclops could use the "Gravity Hypnosis" combo, and Venusaur equipped with Wide Lens ensured Sleep Powder's accuracy.
The seamless transition between strategies was both clever and ruthless.
The violent beauty of the Heavy Space Team left fans exhilarated.
"Natsu-sensei is going all out! My youth is over!"
"With the sa team composition, he even crushed a Gym Leader... I'd believe it if you told Natsu-sensei was an Elite Four mber!"
"He's ranked seventh in the world, after all. Did you really think Natsu-sensei was just a strear?!"
Natsu, however, remained calm.
What made Sabrina terrifying was her ability to command Pokémon directly with her psychic powers.
This ability was borderline broken, whether in battles or wild encounters.
In virtual battles, Sabrina was at a slight disadvantage.
"Thanks to 'Challenging Viridian Gym Tomorrow' for the rocket gift."
Natsu's expression turned strange.
"Challenge all you want, just don't say I taught you..."
Using Heavy Space to challenge Blue Oak? Natsu couldn't help but think it was suicidal.
But seeing trainers adopt his strategy, Blue Oak might take an interest and hand out a badge or two.
The live stream's popularity had surpassed 3 million.
The chat was flooded with ssages, and the system's BP had skyrocketed to 5000.
Natsu calculated that he could exchange it for a small Water Stone, perfect for Squirtle.
Glancing at the interface, Natsu cleared his throat.
"Thanks to 'GREEN' for the super rocket. Thank you, boss, you're too generous..."
Before he could finish, Natsu froze.
Wait, that ID... does it look familiar?
"Whoa, Blue Oak just gifted Natsu-sensei!"
"It must really work. I'm challenging him tomorrow!"
"Nope, nope, I'm outta here."
A drop of cold sweat rolled down Natsu's forehead.
