In the midst of the blooming flower field, the Shaymins' "Migration Dance" neared its end.
The deer-like Shaymins lined up in rows, soaring into the sky together—leaving behind a single teary-eyed Shaymin.
The brave little one was saying goodbye to everyone.
"Mii... I really was happy to et you all!" Shaymin choked out.
Natsu's eyes flickered. Ash wiped his eyes with his sleeve before shouting:
"Go find your companions, Shaymin!"
Shaymin hesitated, glancing back at its friends before nodding softly.
"Mii will miss you all!"
The small white deer circled wistfully in the sky, its cries fading into the distance—leaving behind a group of wistful onlookers.
"Coulda just caught all the Shaymin and handed 'em over to the Executive, ow~" owth whispered.
"Idiot, they care about their companions too!"
Jessie crossed her arms, side-eyeing owth and Jas. "Just like us."
Natsu rubbed his chin.
...Wait, does this scene feel familiar?
Didn't Ash say sothing similar when he released Butterfree?
But.
Shaymin's herd was migrating to the warm Alola region.
Timing-wise, Ash might even run into them again when he heads to Alola.
With the event settled, a gentle breeze swept through.
In Natsu-sensei's hand was a small black flower left behind by Marshadow.
Just like w, who gifted him a beloved music box at the Tree of Beginning.
Natsu instinctively glanced at Darkrai beside him.
It wore an aloof expression—then extended a claw and rubbed its fingers together in a universal "pay up" gesture.
Natsu: "..."
"Gengar, give it three cans of Pokéblocks," Natsu sighed.
Darkrai roared: "Why the discount again?!"
"Take it or leave it."
"Fine, I'll take it! Just... ugh, whatever..." Darkrai instantly backed down, waving a hand magnanimously.
Joking aside, Natsu ended up giving it five cans of Pokéblocks anyway.
Darkrai hugged them gleefully, its expression utterly at odds with its usual Nightmare Pokémon deanor.
"Well, I should return to Alamos Town too," Darkrai said.
"Wait." Natsu frowned. "Do you know what Shadow Force is?"
The Pokémon world always had these bizarre, borderline "illegal" chanics that left Natsu—a battle-hardened player—speechless.
But then again, Ash's Infernape could clear entry hazards with Flare Blitz, and a Trainer's shout could wake a Pokémon from sleep...
Whatever. One more broken move wouldn't hurt.
"Shadow Force?"
Darkrai pondered for a long mont before answering: "I suppose Antimatter would be a more fitting term."
"I have the power to enter nightmares. Giratina, however, erges from shadows—said to be the deity of shadows and antimatter."
The centuries-old Darkrai shot Natsu a glance. "Why do you ask?"
"No reason."
Natsu wiped cold sweat. "Just thinking about Little Giratina—er, I an, Gengar."
This movie's bonus was a fragnt of the Griseous Orb, Giratina's signature item.
Once Gengar absorbed it, calling it "Little Giratina" wouldn't be an exaggeration.
Plus, Reverse World's gravity would likely amplify its power.
Beyond ga Evolution's dinsional-warping abilities, Gengar's mastery over shadows and gravity would reach new heights.
Natsu broke into a cold sweat.
"Universal Pull and Almighty Push?!"
Are we dropping nukes at ho, or should I hire a cross-regional renovation team now?!
Darkrai side-eyed him.
"Anything else?"
"No." Natsu took a deep breath.
Becoming the "Rainbow Hero" didn't grant extra perks, but the title alone was legendary.
As the (infamous?) Rainbow Hero, his Rainbow Wing remained radiant—no risk of fading again.
Giving it to Arcanine would not only restore the Hound Pokémon to peak condition but also elevate its mastery of Sacred Fire.
"Miscalculated..." Natsu muttered. "Two movies, one house-wrecking combo!"
Bla Arce—no, bla Gold!!
Swallowing the na "Zeus," he steadied his thoughts.
Just then, Darkrai sheepishly added:
"So... about those extra Pokéblocks..."
Natsu: "Scram!"
Chuckling, Darkrai vanished into the shadows—leaving behind a sky of flawless blue.
At that mont, two reporters stumbled into the flower field.
"Are you sure he's here?"
"Positive! A journalist's instincts never lie!"
Reporter Gabby scanned the area, her gaze locking onto the strikingly handso Natsu. Her eyes lit up. "Found him!!"
Natsu: "..."
The caraman blinked. "How can you be sure it's him?"
Then he saw Natsu's face and imdiately shouted: "It's definitely him!!"
"Let's go."
Natsu motioned to Ash and the others.
The group quickly agreed, heading toward a distant small town while chatting among themselves.
"I'll send a Gracidea bouquet to my mom!" Ash declared.
A thanks to Delia for raising him, huh? Natsu nodded. "Get one for too."
Ash: ?
"I'll bring so back for Forrest," Brock said, smiling. "He's been holding down the gym."
"Ours is for Natsu-sensei!!" The Trio ripped off their disguises in unison.
Only then did Ash finally yell: "TEAM ROCKET?!"
Natsu & Team Rocket: "..."
Really, Ash?!
The two reporters left behind exchanged glances.
"Still interviewing?" the caraman asked.
"Unnecessary."
Female reporter said with confidence:
"A skilled journalist can spin a solid story—even without an interview!"
Caraman: "..."
Let's just hope Natsu-sensei doesn't sue Mauville News for defamation...
Then again, Tokyo Evening News has been doing this for years. Should be fine.
Besides, this is Natsu-sensei—walking headline material, the rumored Champion!
"A man who averts disasters... yet enjoys Baby Cup battles..."
The caraman, a longti fan, sighed inwardly.
...
Arriving at the Town's Pokémon Center
Team Rocket took their leave first.
They needed to continue gathering funding to build their next giant robot.
Flint decided to continue his journey with Ash, planning to challenge the Sunyshore Gym again after returning from Mount Coronet.
"We'll go together," Natsu said coldly.
"Natsu-sensei..."
Flint gulped, whispering, "You're not... actually planning to challenge the Sunyshore Gym, are you...?"
Natsu: "Of course I am. Why wouldn't I?"
Flint's expression twisted.
I need to warn Volkner in advance—or he might get traumatized!
The roars of Giratina and Regigigas still echoed in his ears.
Natsu rubbed his temples, deciding to et up with Moe-Moe! first.
She was near Mount Coronet too—maybe they could even have dinner together.
Why does this feel like so old married couple wrapping up a business trip?!
Natsu shook his head.
Hopefully, disasters like this won't happen again.
Even at my best, dealing with a being like Arceus would be... rough.
At the Pokémon Center
Nurse Joy had heard about the glaciers stopping their advance.
Though initially worried, the mont she saw Natsu-sensei walk in, she understood everything.
"Please heal my Pokémon," Natsu said tiredly.
"Of course!"
Joy blushed slightly, glancing down before murmuring:
"I could... heal you up too, if you'd like..."
Natsu: ?
This Joy is acting suspicious!
In the end, under Joy's disappointed gaze, Natsu had his Pokémon restored.
As a side note, Blastoise insisted on using Heal Pulse multiple tis on Big Brother Gengar.
"Gengar!!" Gengar stood under a thin veil of water.
Stop scrubbing! My skin's gonna peel off at this rate!
"Blastoise… ヾ(■_■)"
Blastoise, wearing the [Purifying Droplet] around its neck, gave a thumbs-up.
Natsu: Delicate mood.
This Blastoise is illegal! Since when did it get the Technician ability?!
The [Purifying Droplet] from Stark Mountain had proven its worth.
Manaphy's treasure could supposedly cure all status conditions, even poison.
Now, with Aqua Ring, Blastoise could heal and cleanse debuffs...
Natsu massaged his forehead.
"The Tale of My Overly Reliable Blastoise, Who Moonlights as a Battle dic."
Chat Group Chaos
He checked the chat group—where chaos had erupted.
Yellow: "Is Natsu-sensei okay?!"
Lucian frowning: "No contact yet. But I think I just saw him."
Lance confused: "...Riding Giratina? And standing on Regigigas's head?"
Lucian hesitant: "That... sounds about right."
Ash chiming in: "I was there! Saw it with my own eyes!"
Lorelei shivering: "Yikes!"
Everyone else: "Yikes!!"
Bruno's eyes widened.
So during our battle... Natsu-sensei really was holding back?!
Blue Oak: "..."
The sheer impact made Blue's blood boil—he almost jumped on Charizard to challenge Natsu right then.
Red felt the sa, adjusting his cap with a quiet sigh.
First Bruno, then Giratina and the glaciers...
When will I get to fight Natsu-sensei at full strength?
Gold bluntly: "@Natsu-sensei, did you wreck Giratina?"
Jasmine flustered: "Ah, maybe... phrase it differently?"
Gold waving it off: "Sa difference!"
Of course the guy who beat would pull this off!
Since Reverse World had no signal, many mbers had ssaged Natsu for updates.
After replying, dusk settled in.
Reconnecting
Natsu finally got through to Moe-Moe!.
According to her, she still had post-battle cleanup before heading ho.
Natsu cut straight to the point:
"I missed you."
Cynthia, riding Garchomp in her black coat, golden hair whipping in the wind, froze for a second.
Then, a faint blush spread across her fair cheeks.
"...I missed you too."
"Garchomp!!" Garchomp let out a jealous roar.
Cynthia chuckled, soothing her partner before her gaze sharpened back into the Sinnoh Champion's steel.
"Let's finish this quickly, Garchomp!"
A white contrail streaked across the sky.
Natsu watched, smiling unconsciously, before looking down.
In his hand, a small black flower shimred—its surface swirling with shadows.
Like soone standing guard in the darkness. Loyal. Fearless.
Natsu chuckled wryly, slinging his single-strap bag over his shoulder as he and Brock headed for the nearest train.
Brock squinting: "Natsu-sensei... That Pokémon Egg in the jar just shook."
Natsu distracted: "Huh?"
Brock pointing at his eyes: "Saw it myself."
Natsu: "..."
Then, suddenly, he laughed.
Brock confused: "What's so funny?"
Natsu grinning: "Sorry. Couldn't help it."
