Night fell.
Laughter filled the livestream of a certain food content creator.
"I've got the perfect move, but nah—I'll just play this single card instead."
"Genuine question: Is this a charity gambling god's stream?"
"Fast-forward to my favorite 'wibbly-wobbly' segnt!"
Today's stream focused on single-player gas.
Fans flooded the chat, bombarding it with ssages while asking about the recent glacier incident that had set the region abuzz.
"You guys don't actually think I saved Sinnoh, do you?" Natsu said offhandedly. "Well, you're absolutely right!"
Instantly, the chat exploded again.
"I've never seen soone so shaless!"
"Natsu-sensei, the truth can't be hidden—it even leaks from your eyes."
"Was it really you?! I need to know!"
Fans wavered between doubt, excitent, and sheer disbelief.
When Natsu changed the topic again, the chat collectively sighed.
"Thanks to 'GiftForTogepi' for the Rocket! Boss, stay healthy!"
Natsu booted up the ga emulator. "Let's give the boss a Togepi trono special!"
Under Natsu-sensei's trolling, the on-screen Togepi wagged its finger—and a purple Toxic mist seeped out.
"Suggested change: Classic remake."
"Boss, what were you thinking?!"
"Missing with Toxic is the most 'Natsu-sensei' move ever, LOL."
Amid the wave of "Boss, spend responsibly!" ssages, Natsu-sensei answered a question:
"Strategy stream is next ti… planning to showcase Rain Perish Song."
"Moe-Moe?! Moe-Moe should work, not just watch Moe-Moe! Go outside and catch Pokémon!"
The chat instantly fired back:
"You think I'm here for Moe-Moe? Nah, it's all about Gengar and Sirfetch'd."
"Good guy Natsu, just trying to legally enter the Baby Cup, huh?"
Natsu scanned the chat, then blinked.
"Ducky stew—" He coughed. "Ahem, Sirfetch'd's busy hatching eggs today. Main event's horror gas."
With that, he had Rotom cut the lights.
In the darkened room, Natsu sat stern-faced, headphones on, a grinning Gengar floating nacingly beside him.
The horror ga—Escape the Mansion—was a top-seller on the ORAS platform, developed by Devon Corp.
Set in a vine-choked mansion deep in a sunless forest, it featured a gentle, green-haired big sister ghost.
The goal? Avoid her and her Chansey, find the "Cleansing Charm," and escape alive.
"Escape? Nah, fight her head-on!"
Natsu turned to confront the green-haired specter.
"???"
"You can't. At least, you shouldn't."
"Holy—this ghost is actually Moe-Moe?!"
The screen shook violently, splattered with crimson as the player was dragged away by Chansey, leaving a trail of blood.
"Did big sister just take him to her room?"
"Even better!"
Ga over. Natsu and Gengar exchanged a look. Gengar cackled.
"Gengar~ ヾ(≧▽≦)ヾ"
"No way, Gengar's too cute. Ruins the horror vibe."
"Should've used the urban legend 'White Hand' as the protagonist!"
Seeing this, Natsu's expression shifted.
The "White Hand" was a famous Pokémon urban legend from the early handheld gas.
In Pokémon Tower, an NPC would say:
"Look behind you. There's a white hand."
Paired with Lavender Town's eerie BGM, it sent chills down players' spines—a nod even the official Pokémon Origins referenced.
"Obviously, total nonsense," Natsu thought.
Creak—
Natsu pushed back his gaming chair, took a deep breath, and resud the stream.
In the dim room, Sylveon turned slightly, its baby-doll eyes glowing an eerie blue in the dark.
Gengar's grin stretched to its tongue, fading into the shadows.
The ga booted up. The mansion appeared. A white shadow flickered across the screen.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
The chat erupted:
"STREAR, LOOK AT YOUR RIGHT SHOULDER. THERE'S A WHITE HAND."
"THE CABINET—BEHIND THE CABINET!"
A rustling sound. Natsu flung off his headphones and yelled:
"NOPE. I'M OUT!"
...
In the Living Room
Sirfetch'd tilted its head, staring at the Pokémon egg nestled beneath its white wing.
The egg wobbled violently, cracks spiderwebbing across its surface—clear signs of imminent hatching.
"Sirfetch'd!" Sirfetch'd hopped excitedly onto the floor, gazing at the little one about to erge.
Roll, roll, roll—
The egg rocked unsteadily, the tiny life inside struggling to break free.
A true "hatchling"—so adorable that Sirfetch'd broke into a dopey grin.
"Sirfetch'd~"
The commotion drew the attention of the other little ones.
Blastoise rose from the fish tank with a splash, adjusting its sunglasses to scrutinize the egg.
Arcanine zood around the living room in excitent, tail wagging furiously.
"Sirfetch'd!" Sirfetch'd waddled on duck-like feet, intending to fetch Natsu from his ongoing livestream in the bedroom.
Creak—
Pushing the door open, Sirfetch'd scanned the dimly lit room, puzzled.
Why so dark, quack?
Before the faintly glowing screen sat Natsu, headphones on, completely absorbed.
Sirfetch'd tapped the cabinet with its leek—no reaction.
Then, it stretched out a snowy wing, gently poking Natsu's back with the leek.
Instantly, a chill shot up Natsu's spine, spreading through his entire body.
"Little Rotom—LIGHTS!" Natsu stamred.
The room flooded with brightness.
Natsu and Sirfetch'd locked eyes, an unspoken understanding passing between them.
The chat erupted into a frenzy of "LOLOLOL" spams.
Even the usually ice-cold Sabrina, watching the stream, cracked a smile before bursting into laughter.
Aaron's green cowlick bobbed with glee; Lance chuckled as he poured himself another cup of tea.
"Gengar~! ヾ(≧▽≦*)ヾ" Gengar patted Natsu's shoulder reassuringly.
Mixed emotions swirling, Natsu wiped his face and addressed Sirfetch'd:
"What's up?"
"Sirfetch'd!" It pointed outside with its leek.
Natsu instantly understood. "It's hatching?"
At Sirfetch'd's nod, Natsu turned back to the screen:
"Ergency wrap-up today. Strategy stream next ti."
"Don't forget—Pokémon releases in May! Buy it!"
The stream cut to black at lightning speed, leaving fans savoring the hilarity.
"How is a horror ga this entertaining? LOL."
"I'll eat my own snacks—no one's getting a di from ."
"Next ti for sure!"
Natsu—Sinnoh's savior, Rainbow Hero, Giratina-rider—now stood frozen in a flinching state, ntally debating between braised and roasted cooking thods.
Entering the living room, his attention snapped to the wobbling egg.
Roll, roll, roll—
Natsu sat cross-legged on the carpet as the little ones ford a circle around the egg.
Dozens of eyes fixed on it, breaths held.
"Togepi doo-ee~!" Togepi clapped its tiny hands, thrilled.
Am I gonna be a big sister?!
"Gengar!" Gengar had already prepped textbooks—no child would fall behind on its watch.
Blastoise pondered whether to verify it wasn't a Ditto first…
"Sirfetch'd~! (′︿‵)" Sirfetch'd teared up, moved.
My child, on the day you're born, the forests of Sandgem Town will call your na!
One day, this slacker's journey will end—and you shall be crowned king!
Amid the inexplicably solemn atmosphere, Natsu laid out a soft cushion.
Opening a group livestream, he invited Gold and asked:
"Do I just… watch?"
Gold—The Hatcher—gasped at the soon-to-hatch little one, cheering.
"Yep! The mont a Pokémon breaks free—that's the magic of life!" Gold laughed.
For a fleeting second, Natsu felt touched.
"…I'll forgive one of Gold's debts," he decided.
Other mbers joining the stream voiced their awe.
"So cute…" Jasmine murmured at the gray-green blunt snout peeking out.
"Looks like a Larvitar," Blue Oak noted.
Natsu's expression turned complicated.
Lucian did warn … but he actually sent a pseudo-legendary egg?!
Gulp. Natsu wiped cold sweat from his brow.
Can I even afford to raise this thing?
"They say Larvitar devours entire mountains while growing," Green teased. "Seems Natsu-sensei's pockets run deep!"
Natsu forced a dry laugh.
So the mines I'll earn from Pokémon… are gonna end up as baby food?!
The hatchling Larvitar cautiously surveyed its surroundings, showing none of its species' usual brashness.
"Aren't Larvitar normally aggressive?" Crystal wondered.
"Ah-ha!" Gold wiped his nose, launching into expert mode. "A hatched Pokémon's nature matches its trainer's!"
"After watching Natsu-sensei's stream just now…" Gold smirked. "Might be a timid Larvitar!"
Natsu: "…Debt's back on the table."
"Timid nature…" Ruby mused. "Isn't ideal for Larvitar's growth."
Natsu's eyebrow twitched.
Not just "not ideal"—it's the worst possible nature for a Tyranitar.
The species thrived on ferocity and destructive power. "Timid" would weaken its aggression and weather-control prowess.
But.
For Natsu-sensei's household? Maybe this was perfect.
His gaze softened as he watched the struggling Larvitar.
Regardless, the miracle of life moved him deeply.
Last ti I felt this way… was when Togepi hatched.
He'd considered returning it to Sinnoh League if incompatible—but now? Unthinkable.
"You might not be the strongest little one."
Natsu thought quietly:
"But you'll always be the best in my eyes."
"Keep watching," Wallace said elegantly, chin in hand. "It's almost out."
The green snout pushed harder, tiny arms flailing as it adjusted position.
"Don't help it, Natsu-sensei," Gold warned sternly.
Natsu nodded. The little ones' eyes glead with sothing like hope.
Then—crack! Larvitar pried the shell apart and popped its head out.
"Larvitar…"
Blinking, it stuffed a shell fragnt into its mouth, chewing loudly.
Crunch, crunch, crunch—
"Larvitar?" Larvitar tilted its head, munching the shell like a rice cracker.
A collective sigh of relief filled the room.
