…Should I even catch them? Sure, their power would be incredible to add to my repertoire of pokemon, and would be a big big help in dealing with world ending shenanigans when, not if, they happen.
But…am I equipped and able enough to do sothing for them all? I'm struggling to picture even handling Regice and trying to breathe so life into it and give it aning beyond orders.
Would I be better off just leaving them where they are?
But then…that might run the risk of others finding and capturing them. This world, isn't just the ani alone after all. I've noticed elents from the gas and even the manga. I can't rely on my ani knowledge alone, that they'd still just be there after a ti.
I an, Brandon for instance is on the hunt for the Regi's specifically. He's an alright guy and all I suppose, but he only wants them because he wants to collect them as a history nut.
…Yeah, ironic and a bit hypocritical coming from . But again, the only hypocrite I like is myself. And well, I'm trying to turn over a new leaf at least.
But, I'm not really sure if Brandon will be trying to give them the will to live beyond orders like I want to do with Regice.
…But could I handle doing it for five Regi's?
Like, I like myself a whole lot, and think I'm pretty aweso. But that might be beyond even my abilities.
Definitely sothing I'll need to think on before I leave Fennel Valley.
I sighed, sitting down cross legged in front of Regice…before rembering I needed to bring out Blissey to heal Tyranitar.

With how tough Tyranitar was, both in general strength and well…species, it wasn't long before he was healed back up into tip top shape by Blissey.
As it was, I returned both the pseudo legendary and my legendary healing angel - cuz she totally was - to their balls, and rested atop the stairs of the ancient building, lazily looking up into the clear blue skies above.
Standing at the base of the stairs, Regice was an ever watchful sentinel. I needed to think.
And he was decent company.
Didn't say much though.
…Or anything beyond 'dododon' when I asked sothing….when he deigned it a good enough thing to reply to, or needing a reply I suppose.
An hour had passed now since Tyranitar was healed, and in that ti, my mind had been wandering, planning, questioning, backtracking, re-planning, procrastinating…almost falling asleep.
My mind had moved in circles, processing the situation around Regice and the other Regi's, and debating not only the pro's and cons of going after them and if I should.
But could I handle them?
And the answer I ca to?
I don't know.
But…at the very least I can try. And, I'll have plenty of ti to do it. I do have plans to beco immortal after all.
Or well, un-aging at least. Eternal youth? A store of life force that simulates such a thing?
Sothing along those lines.
Though, I suppose going after them does depend on one thing. I turned my head and looked at the towering form of Regice at the bottom of the stares, who just stood there silently and staring at , not having budged an inch.
It was weird…I'd found through trial and error so far, that Regice was 'guarding' . That was basically, the Regi's purpose, guards who obeyed orders. And since I caught it, Regice's new self assigned purpose, was guarding and obeying my orders.
"Hey, Regice." I spoke up, calling over to the massive ice type.
Regice remained silent, not moving at all, but its yellow eyes did light up ever so slightly, sothing I'd noticed it did to show it was paying attention.
"I'm thinking of going after your brethren," I replied, "Not Regigas, but I know where Regirock is, and the general area of Registeel. And I know where a Regielki and Regidrago are. Do you have any problems with that? Any reason why I shouldn't? If you don't want to, I won't."
In the end, after everything, I delegated.
I left it all up to Regice.
Its eyes light up a little brighter, and then…in the most movent I'd seen of the legendary ice sentinel beyond the the battle where we jumped it silly, it lifted is massive blocky ice arms-
And shrugged, "Dododon."
Regice, either did not understand the question of why I was asking for permission for such a thing, or just didn't care.
Alright then, let try a different approach then.
"Would you be fine battling them and helping catch them?" I asked, "You don't need to if you don't want to." I stressed.
I stood up and hopped down the stairs to stand in front of him, looking up at his towering form that towered over by a near factor of three, "But like you, they're very strong, and I only managed to beat you by getting the drop on you, and if we gave you ti, you'd have recovered and outlasted us. So would you help capture your friends as well?"
For a mont, Regice was still and silent, before its eyes lit up and it inclined its massive ice pillar head in a single nod, "Re…gice, Regigigice."
I blinked, before my eyes flew wide open at the exclamation of its na, like a normal pokemon! Its voice was vibrating and buzzing like soone humming with their teeth clicking together.
But that was definitely its na!
My jaw dropped and a smile spread across my face, well alright then!
"Rotom, can you translate?" I asked, looking to my gauntlet eagerly. I'd tried to get him to translate the 'Dododon's, but not even Rotom was capable of that. They apparently weren't a pokemon language that could be spoken by anything that wasn't another Regi.
"I can, not much to translate though," Rotom replied, "Regice simply said, that it has no issue with you capturing its brethren and has no issues in facing them in battle. Its tone is blank, with no emotion I might add. Though I detect, a hint of approval of so form? I cannot be sure though. Respect maybe? If nothing else I can easily infer the ancient king Regice once served, was a…what is the word you like to use? Ah yes, a right twat. So even for an emotionless thing like this, you are a far step up."
Oh…I got a little excited over nothing then huh? I thought there was more to it.
But well, it was definitely a start. Even a tiny hint of approval, was better than absolute nothing. And it gave a little bit of hope, that for sure there was indeed emotion in that big icy body.
I grinned happily at Regice and pat it on his front, ignoring the biting cold that seeped into my fingers, "Thank you Regice," I told it truthfully, "And I didn't get the chance to say this yet, but welco to the family, let's get along alright mate?"
"Dododon." Regice replied.
…Well, can't all be winners, "We'll get there mate, we'll get there." my patting turned consoling.
I held my hand out and had Rotom spit out Regice's luxury ball, "Alright mate, you take a test right now and relax inside your ball alright? I made sure to pay a lot of extra to make sure you and all my other pokemon could live in comfort when you're inside your balls." I smiled at it, before returning him to his ball.
"Well, that happened." I sighed, storing Regice's luxury ball away in my gauntlet.
You know, I thought when caught my first legendary, it would be much more hype. And well, don't get wrong, I'm elated, excited even and very happy.
I just never imagined I'd be….what-
A therapist?
Basically yeah, the closest thing I could liken to, was becoming Regice's therapist to help him regain his emotions and live a good fulfilling life. And would be doing so with all the other Regi's.
Was this karma maybe?
If it is, it was totally deserved.
I did collect pokemon like I was the next gen Lawrence the third. I let my ego and arrogance get the better of .
I forgot what pokemon, not the creatures in this world, but the entirety of this universe actually ant to .
Though you'd think after dealing with Goh I'd have earned a little bit more of a better karma scale.
Maybe Goh was so shit, karma itself didn't want to even acknowledge he existed? In which case, fair enough karma.
Shaking my head, I put that out of mind for the mont. It was about ti to get a move on.
My ti table just got a lot busier for the day. I was planning on visiting Misty to give my female Wartortle to her, and give so stones to her, Ash and Brock, maybe chill with them a little bit and such, before going after Moltres and then leaving Kanto behind.
But now, I'm on the Regi hunt.
I wonder if I could even do it all today? Well, not the two in Galar, but Regirock and Registeel. I know where Regirock is, but Registeel I only know the vague area.
Perhaps Regice would know?
But yeah, even with Pidgeot's speed while flying, could I get from here to Pewter, catch Regirock, then over towards indigo from Viridian and find the ruin Registeel was in and catch it?
It would be tight for sure.
Hmm, actually, that gives an idea.
I held out my hand and had Rotom deposit Exeggutor's luxury ball into my palm, and then in a burst of light I let the massive grass and psychic type out.
I almost winced in guilt when I saw that two of Exeggutor's heads were fast asleep, and the only one awake, gave a sleepy, "Tor…!" in greeting.
He'd put so real work in earlier against Regice, however brief the battle had been, he'd expended a lot of energy.
"Tired buddy, sorry about bringing you out," I apologized, rubbing his side, feeling the bark-like quality of his body, "I was wondering, would you be able to teleport us back to Viridian City? In the battlefield outside the pokemon centre we did so training in?"
While training him to learn a bunch of attacks over the last few days, we'd paid multiple visits to said battle field.
Exeggutor gave a sleepy yawn, before nodding, "Exeg…u….tor." he replied, before his body began to glow.
The glow spread from him to in the blink of an eye from where I was touching him, and a feeling of weightlessness spread through my body for a split mont.
And suddenly, I wasn't in Fennel Valley anymore, but the battlefield outside the Viridian City Pokemon Centre.
I blinked…and just stared.
That was my first ti teleporting.
'So smooth.' I almost goggled, and would have for a little longer if Exeggutor didn't give another sleepy rumble at my side.
Quickly thanking him after shaking myself out of my stupor, I returned Exeggutor to his luxury ball, before storing it away in the gauntlet.
"It's too bad you can't learn teleport, huh Rotom?" I mused almost blankly, it was just so sudden to be here, I was still a little dazed to be honest, "I wouldn't need to bother Exeggutor and it would be incredible to use in a fight."
"But you'd have no problem bothering !?" Rotom sounded like he was pouting.
"After the amount of tis you zipped around like a lunatic over the last few days before that gauntlet arrived? Yes," I snorted, "But beyond that, doesn't that gauntlet have so super battery and energy generator thing that could power an entire building easily? Your own energy is amped by it now right?"
"Pfft, it's the principle of the matter, but yes, so what?" Rotom was definitely pouting now, sohow, "Either way, I am utterly incapable of learning teleport. But I do have a solution if you want to hear~" his voice beca very sly all of a sudden, like a sleazy care salesman.
"Oh?" I raised a brow.
"Perhaps if you got those devilishly skilled and strong hands of yours on a Porygon, we could make it work, they can learn teleport according to my database," Rotom continued, all the while complinting suddenly. It made blink actually, why would he be so gung ho for it? "There's plenty of space in this gauntlet for a porygon, and they can learn many many attacks I cannot. And of course, it would also boost the strength of the gauntlet, and my energy stores and processing power even further!"
Ah, he just wanted to boost his own power and other abilities he now had access to as the Rotom Gauntlet.
Wannabe sly little thing wasn't he?
I almost laughed at him trying to butter up. 'Little wanker.' I thought fondly.
"I don't really have a problem with that, I just only know where two are, and they're already owned by soone else, so unless I can convince them to give one, we're shit out of luck," I replied with a shrug, "Well, I suppose they might be getting sold at the Celadon Ga Corner?"
They did in the gas at least.
"I will check right away!" Rotom chirped back.
"You do that mate," I snorted, "First though, gim Fearow's ball eh?" I said. May as well give Pidgeot a little rest as well, "No wait, in fact, give Aerodactyl's."
I'd been leaving him to his own devices with Altaria the past few days, but I should take so ti to bully check up on how he was doing. Maybe have a little heart to heart, give so advice where it was due and such things?
