Jord stared at the pokeball containing Krabby in his hands for a mont, before it disappeared in a flash of white light, being teleported to the Viridian Pokemon Centre with the rest of his pokemon.
He nodded once before looking at the other pokeball in his hand and then to the Raboot eyeing him with interest, "You're not looking too happy with your trainer there." the younger boy pointed out.
The Raboot stared at him before shrugging, arms crossed over each other and looking bored, "Boot." it gave a simple nod.
Jord stared at it for another mont before turning to the downed dark skinned boy who was staring up at Jord wide eyed in the sand, the words stolen from his mouth from the sudden turn of events.
Jord after all, with the wide smile baring all of his teeth and the huge Milotic looming over his shoulder with rage clouding its feature, were not at all hiding how much they wanted to get right down to violence.
Hilda considered a personal win he wasn't stomping the guys face into the dirt right now.
"How the hell did you get your starter of all things to dislike you this much?" Jord asked the boy, shaking his head.
The boy despite his position and bloodied nose scoffed dismissively, "Starter in na only. The Professor wouldn't let leave the city unless I had a designated starter, I had a bunch of pokemon I caught around Vermillion and Raboot was desperate for it, so I let it tag along," he shrugged, "The only pokemon I'm going to accept as my true starter pokemon is w!"
Hilda felt her mouth drop open wide in disbelief. w? As in, the practically worshipped legendary pokemon of Kanto? The one said to be the ancestor to all pokemon? As his starter pokemon?
...Also he clearly wasn't understanding the aning of a starter pokemon. It was supposed to be the first pokemon a trainer got to get them started on their journey to catch more pokemon.
This kid clearly wasn't all there going by the actions he'd gone through since he arrived here and now this nonsense.
At his words, Jords smile turned positively, evil.
"Yeah, good luck with that," he scoffed, "Because I know for a fact that you'll never capture w."
The boys face twisted up in rage and he pushed himself to his feet, ignoring his nose, "Oh, and how do you know that?" he growled nasally, "I already have a plan. I'll complete the pokedex and it'll open up the path to w!" he boasted.
...Hilda supposed it was technically a sound plan? If a person had every type of pokemon in the world it would it would make it so much easier to find a specific pokemon.
But it was such a stupid view on how to go about sothing like that, completely disregarding the sheer scope and stupidity of forming a plan like that and made her think the boy was 'special' in the head.
What idiot professor let this fool start his journey? 'Then again the literal street rat passed the exams early and got a trainers license.' Hilda's eyes strayed to Jord.
"Because I already know where w is," Jord bared his teeth and replied with a fully malicious tone, "And I'll make sure to capture it myself so you never can."
Hilda's eyes widened, 'He does?!' she spluttered ntally. How the hell did he know that?
The dark skinned boy trembled at Jords words, "Y-you're lying!" he stuttered, "I've studied w for years! I've even seen it once! There's no way so random person like you would ever know where to find w!"
"From where I'm standing, you're the randor you little scrub," Jord snorted, jutting his chin out smugly, "Besides, even if you could find w, you'd never be able to catch it. Not when you're so pathetic even your starter pokemon won't listen to you. Do you honestly think you're just gonna be able to find w and toss a pokeball at it? Bitch, it's a legendary pokemon!" the younger boys rant got progressively louder with each word until he was practically shouting in the older boys face, the anger still evident in his voice.
The dark skinned boy shook in place, hesitating in the face of the very real violence Jords voice promised on top of deriding his dream, "I-I don't believe you!" the tan boy shouted back and stepped forward and did the most stupid thing he could in this situation as far as Hilda was concerned.
He tried to push Jord.
Not that it worked out for him at all. With how twiggy his arms looked. it must have been like trying to push over a boulder and it was him that ended up being pushed backward and falling on his backside.
Hilda heard a few people laugh at the sad showing and smothered a smile of her own.
"Believe what you want, but buzz off will you? You can find out about how right I am when the news covers my new w later down the line," Jord taunted, "Either way, it's got nothing to do with you any more scrub, so beat it before I beat your face in for trying to steal my Krabby."
Well, he was being more lenient than Hilda thought he was going to be. She half expected him to kick him in the face after that last stunt, or sothing like that at least.
