Alex watched with a wide, amused smile as Maria switched from one ga Stone to another.
Each ti she attached a new stone, she raised the Keystone again and repeated the sa embarrassing sentence.
"Arbok… show your power. ga Evolve."
Nothing happened. So she tried again. And again. And again.
Alex had originally assud that the situation would stop being entertaining after a few attempts.
But as Maria's expression grew increasingly annoyed—and her face slightly redder each ti—he quickly realized that wasn't the case at all.
If anything, it was becoming even more entertaining.
Maria finally noticed his barely suppressed laughter and shot him an irritated look.
Alex, still smiling far too broadly, simply folded his arms and said in a completely innocent tone,
"sorry but i also did that which every one of my Pokemon, so I can't change anything about it."
Maria stared at Alex for several seconds after hearing his comnt. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she looked at the wide, satisfied smile on his face.
For a brief mont, she considered saying sothing. Then she decided it simply wasn't worth it. Instead, she turned away from him and continued the test as if Alex didn't even exist in the room.
One by one, she tried the remaining ga Stones.
First with Pidgeot.
"Pidgeot… show your power. ga Evolve."
Nothing happened.
Next she tried Sandslash.
Again the Keystone glowed faintly, but the ga Stone showed no reaction at all.
Then she tried Nidoqueen.
Once more, nothing.
Alex only watched quietly from the side, still smiling, clearly enjoying the process far more than he probably should.
Finally, Maria moved on to Garchomp.
Garchomp stepped forward calmly as Maria attached the first ga Stone.
"Garchomp… show your power. ga Evolve."
Nothing happened.
Maria sighed quietly, removed the stone, and replaced it with another one.
She lifted the Keystone again.
"Garchomp… show your power. ga Evolve."
For a brief mont after Maria spoke, nothing seed to change.
Then the ga Stone in Garchomp's grasp suddenly began to glow.
At the sa ti, the Keystone in Maria's hand reacted, shining with a bright, almost blinding light. The two stones resonated with each other, releasing waves of energy that filled the enormous training room.
Maria's eyes widened.
The energy didn't just surround Garchomp—it ford a visible connection between trainer and Pokémon. A stream of shimring light stretched from Maria's Keystone to the ga Stone, wrapping around Garchomp's body like spiraling ribbons.
The ground beneath Garchomp trembled slightly as the power intensified.
Garchomp let out a deep, powerful roar as the light around its body grew brighter and brighter, completely engulfing it in a glowing cocoon of energy.
For a mont, its silhouette was all that could be seen. Then the shape began to change.
The arms lengthened and sharpened, the claws growing larger and more dangerous. Jagged extensions ford along its forearms, resembling massive scythe-like blades. The fins along its body expanded outward, giving it a far more aggressive and armored appearance.
Even its posture changed, becoming heavier and more imposing as raw power radiated from its form.
When the glow faded, Garchomp stood in the center of the room—completely transford.
Its body was bulkier and far more intimidating, covered in sharper, blade-like armor. The massive scythes along its arms glead dangerously, and the aura surrounding it felt far denser than before.
ga Garchomp had appeared.

Then Alex laughed softly.
"Well," he said with clear satisfaction, "looks like we found one."
Although Alex watched the successful transformation with clear satisfaction, it wasn't exactly the outco he had originally hoped for.
In truth, he had secretly wished that Arbok, who had already reached level 55, might resonate with one of the ga Stones.
If Arbok had successfully undergone a ga Evolution—especially one that did not exist in the known records or gas—Maria would have imdiately gained a Pokémon capable of temporarily reaching Champion-level strength in an ergency.
Still, Alex quickly decided that this result was far from disappointing.
Garchomp had always possessed the highest natural potential among Maria's Pokémon. It had already reached SS-rank potential, and with its current growth speed it likely wouldn't take long before it reached level 55 naturally.
At the mont, ga Garchomp was only level 56 after the temporary boost from ga Evolution, but its raw power was far beyond what that level suggested.
Given its extrely high base stats, it probably had combat strength comparable to a level 58 or even 59 Pokémon.
Especially with the new Sand Force. When fighting inside a sandstorm, the ability dramatically increased the power (30%) of Ground-, Rock-, and Steel-type moves. If Garchomp's Earthquake ever reached Master rank, the damage output would beco terrifying.
Alex ntally ran through the numbers.
ga Garchomp's base attack is 170 , Earthquake (M) STAB 30% Sand Force.
The resulting damage would be absurd.
In gas, that level of power might feel like overkill. But in the real world—where trainers often faced opponents whose Pokémon were several levels higher—having excessive damage was almost never a disadvantage.
Watching the massive form of ga Garchomp standing proudly in the training room, Alex couldn't help but think that many trainers would be extrely jealous if they ever saw this.
Maria still felt the lingering connection with Garchomp even after the brilliant light of the ga Evolution faded.
For those monts during the transformation, the bond between them had felt unusually clear, almost as if she could sense Garchomp's thoughts and emotions more directly than ever before.
Although Maria didn't treat her Pokémon with the almost overwhelming devotion that Alex showed toward his Pokemon(s), she still treated them far better than most trainers did. To her, they weren't just battle partners. They were friends.
After the transformation, she allowed Garchomp to test its new form for a short while. The massive dragon moved through the training room, trying several attacks and getting used to the overwhelming strength of its ga form.
Eventually, Maria raised her hand.
"Alright, that's enough."
The energy around Garchomp faded as the ga Evolution ended, and the powerful dragon slowly returned to its normal form.
A few monts later, Maria walked toward Alex with a serious expression.
"Alex… are you really going to give these two stones?"
She held up the Keystone and the Garchompite.
"That seems like a bit too much."
Alex imdiately understood why she was saying that. Maria clearly realized how valuable these items were.
He simply smiled. "Don't take it so seriously. Yes, ga Stones and Key Stones are extrely valuable… but right now they're almost useless to ."
He casually pointed toward Scizor.
"I only really need one Keystone and Scizor's ga Stone. The others don't work with my Pokémon. So if I keep them, they'll just sit around doing nothing. It makes more sense to give them to soone who can actually use them."
Then his expression softened a little.
"But the problem is that only my Pokémon and I know about ga Evolution right now. That ans I can only give these stones to people I trust 100 perce..."
Maria stepped closer and suddenly kissed him, cutting him off mid-sentence.
When she pulled back slightly, she looked at him with a small smile. "Shut up, you idiot. I love you too." she said softly. " Also, don't worry, my Pokémon and I will keep this secret."
Alex laughed quietly, and the two of them shared another kiss before slowly leaving the training room together.
Behind them, several Pokémon had been watching the entire scene.
Crobat glanced toward Arbok, who was coiled nearby.
"Humans are really weird, aren't they?" Crobat said casually.
Arbok nodded slightly. "Even though I don't particularly like you," she replied calmly, "I have to agree with that."
Crobat froze. "…Wait—what?"
He turned toward her with a shocked expression.
"You don't like ? How is that possible?" he asked dramatically. "How can any female dislike soone as perfect as ?"
Arbok simply stared at him in silence.
