Crouching down to look at Zorua, Sam chuckled. "You really are sothing special."
"Zorua? Is that its na?" Ash asked, curious.
Sam nodded. "Yeah. Zorua can transform into humans or other Pokémon. It uses that ability to hide its true form and protect itself from danger."
"Zorua is timid, but also mischievous. It likes using illusions to trick others."
"I see…" Ash, Brock, and Dawn all nodded in understanding. Now everything made sense—how this Pokémon could take on different forms so easily.
"Still," Sam continued thoughtfully, "Zorua is extrely rare. There shouldn't be any living around here."
"Kotai! It was Kotai!" Zorua suddenly cried out, getting agitated. "That bad guy brought and MA here! I need to find MA!"
"Kotai…" Sam narrowed his eyes slightly. So it really was him.
Kotai—the one behind everything.
"What a coincidence," Sam said calmly. "We have the sa enemy. Let join you, Zorua."
"Enemy? Did Kotai capture your partner too?" Zorua asked.
Sam shook his head. "No. But if we don't stop him, I won't be able to return ho."
Kotai's goal was to seize the Ti Ripple—the energy source that restores Celebi. If he succeeded, Celebi would lose its ability to travel through ti for a long period.
