"Don't stop. Keep going."
Sam's voice was cold as he looked at the Charmander in front of him, drenched in sweat and clearly exhausted.
Charmander's fundantals were so poor that Sam was starting to feel a headache just watching.
That guy Damian was truly sothing else. To take a Charmander with such outstanding talent and train it into this state, Sam genuinely didn't know what to say.
Compared to a normal Charmander, this one's biggest problem was its physical condition.
Long-term hunger had caused a serious decline in its body functions. Even more critically, it had never received any systematic basic training.
Basic training should never be underestimated.
It is the foundation of a Pokémon's growth. Only with a solid foundation can a Pokémon continue to beco stronger in a stable and healthy way.
"Co on, Charmander," Sam said calmly. "If you want to beco stronger, you have to endure this."
Charmander, already at its limit, had originally planned to rest for a while. But after hearing Sam's words, it clenched its teeth, forced itself to regain montum, and began running again.
Seeing this, Sam nodded in satisfaction.
Fortunately, the system had evaluated this Charmander as having Champion potential.
Under Sam's systematic and scientific training, Charmander's strength improved at an astonishing rate. In just five days, its overall level had already reached the ordinary tier.
While Charmander had been training nonstop, Sam hadn't been idle either.
He had spent those days gathering information about the Trainer nad Damian.
After several days of inquiries, Sam had a clear understanding of him.
Damian was a Trainer from a nearby town, and his family background was indeed quite good, just as Sam had guessed.
As for his actual ability…
It was questionable.
Sam still rembered the look of disdain on another Trainer's face when Damian was ntioned.
"Damian? He deserves to be called a Trainer?"
That reaction didn't seem exaggerated at all. It was genuine contempt.
Once Charmander's strength stabilized at the ordinary level, Sam knew the ti had co.
Revenge.
A true gentleman might wait ten years, but Sam wasn't interested in that.
Ten years was far too long.
He preferred to settle things now.

As usual, Damian brought his group of followers to the central area of the Pokémon Center.
He liked this spot, it made him feel like the center of attention.
The mont they sat down, his lackeys didn't even have ti to take a sip of their drinks before launching into their daily round of flattery.
They understood their position perfectly.
The only reason Damian kept them around was because they knew how to praise him.
Damian was clearly enjoying himself. He leaned back and laughed smugly.
Then, a calm voice suddenly interrupted him.
"Hello. Are you Damian?"
Damian's smile instantly vanished.
His mood dropped to the bottom. He had just started enjoying himself, only to be interrupted by an annoying stranger.
It was hard for him not to be angry.
He glanced at his companions, who imdiately understood the signal.
One boy dressed flamboyantly stood up, looked at Sam with contempt, and sneered.
"Kid, are you looking for death? Who do you think you are, calling him Damian? You should be calling him Brother Damian, got it?"
Sam didn't expect that these people, who weren't even real Trainers, would act so arrogantly. They treated him like he was nothing and even demanded respect.
It seed he needed to teach them a lesson about why flowers blood so brightly.
Sam ignored the lackey entirely and looked straight at Damian. His voice was cold.
"I'm here to challenge you. If you don't have the guts, just kneel down, beg for rcy, and admit defeat."
"Bastard! Didn't you hear what I just said?!"
Trying to show loyalty, the flashy boy shouted angrily and was about to rush forward.
"Ahuang, stand down."
Damian stopped him.
He stood up slowly, looking down at Sam with disdain.
"Since you're in such a hurry to die, I'll do you the favor."
The sudden tension instantly energized everyone in the Pokémon Center.
Traveling life was boring, and no one would refuse a bit of entertainnt.
"Battling is not allowed inside the Pokémon Center!!!"
Nurse Joy rushed over as soon as she noticed the conflict, her expression stern.
"Don't worry, Nurse Joy," Sam said with a polite smile. "We won't do anything inside the Pokémon Center."
Sam wasn't stupid.
He knew very well what the consequences were of causing trouble here.
Anyone who fought in a Pokémon Center despite Nurse Joy's warning risked being blacklisted by the Joy family, a disaster no Trainer could afford.
