"Alright, stop with the nonsense!"

The accomplice frowned and reprimanded, picking up the Pokeballs on the bedside table and checking them one by one.

Suddenly.

"Huh? Why isn’t there a Zweilous?"

"Not there? Could it have fallen sowhere else? Like under the bedside table?"

"Stop just talking and start looking!"

"Oh oh!"

"Here, take this."

A Pokeball was handed by a white hand to the man in black who was searching under the bed. The latter nodded instinctively, "Oh, thanks—"

He was startled mid-sentence, looking up to see a face that was half-smiling.

"Good evening, gentlen."

In the astonished expressions of the two n in black, Baimu quickly opened a Pokeball.

Bam!

White light flickered.

One of the n in black reacted exceedingly swiftly, but instead of turning to flee, he intended to lunge at Baimu and pin him down.

Unfortunately, the latter was quicker, opening the Pokeball with one hand, swiftly twisting his waist, and kicking the man in the chest, with such force that he crashed into the wardrobe behind him with a thudding sound.

Simultaneously.

Zweilous appeared in the room, ignoring the remaining man in black, and raised its two heads, each spewing a jet of azure fla at the approaching Shuppet and Kecleon!

Boom!

The room was instantly thrown into chaos by the explosive Dragon Fla, smoke spread everywhere, and the man in black who had been slamd into the cabinet groaned, feeling sothing was wrong as he tried to escape in the chaos. No sooner had he gotten up than the other man in black was grabbed by Baimu, who clamped his neck and dragged him over!

Bang!

The two n in black collided in the cabinet, dizzy and disoriented, unable to help but roar inwardly with anger.

Who the heck is this guy!

How could he be so decisive when acting?

"Good thing I was prepared for you, otherwise you might have gotten away with stealing them." Baimu wasn’t finished yet; hearing panic calls from outside, he grabbed their heads again and slamd them into the wall twice.

Even though having been in Hoenn for a long ti, he’s no longer as violent as he used to be, beating people up over disagreents, he still likes to vent a bit occasionally when running into these ghost things.

Under such heavy blows, the two n in black fainted without a shred of dignity.

anwhile, their Pokémon, Kecleon attempted to escape invisibly but was pursued and bitten by Zweilous with its keen sense of sll. Shuppet was securely held by mist-like tentacles from the newly appeared Galarian Corsola, showing a pained expression.

From the doorway ca the sound of knocking and shouting by Aman and Mann Chong.

Baimu retrieved his Pokémon, sent out Chansey to keep an eye on these guys, and ran to open the door.

The door swung open.

Not only Aman and Mann Chong, but tenants from other rooms also showed up, curiously peeking into the room.

"Mr. Baimu! Are you alright? Has sothing happened?" The green-haired teenager in pajamas asked nervously.

"First, call Officer Jenny." Baimu held up a hand to stop Aman from speaking, "I might have caught those thieves, and there’s a chance they have other accomplices. There’s also the possibility that they’re just copycat criminals... Anyway, you better call Officer Jenny over."

Upon hearing this.

Everyone showed expressions of surprise.

Aman quickly turned and ran to the front desk to make the call.

"Are you injured?" Mann Chong asked with concern, looking at his hands and feet.

"Not at all... Would you like to co in and take a look?"

Baimu stepped aside, glancing at the others equally curious, "Everyone, instead of just watching the commotion, you should first check your rooms to see if anything’s been stolen."

That’s right!

If thieves ca, this might not be the first point of theft!

The crowd’s expressions shifted, imdiately igniting a participatory spirit, rushing back to their rooms to check their belongings.

Mann Chong then followed Baimu into the room, turning on the light, he saw the completely broken wardrobe and the two black-clad thieves unconscious inside the cabinet. Seeing their state, the first thing he checked was the thieves’ legs and hands.

Relieved to find them neither broken nor severed.

"Thank goodness..."

"Thank goodness for what?"

"Thanks, thanks for noticing them!" Mann Chong’s expression stiffened as he answered Baimu’s question, and quickly changed the topic, "How did you discover the thieves? They should be pretty crafty, right?"

"Zweilous slled them, these two idiots didn’t know its nose was sharp, placing a Pokémon capable of invisibility on the balcony, and it was slled out by Zweilous."

Baimu laughed, petting Zweilous’ head.

"Hey-ooh!"

Zweilous responded smugly, but given its possession of Kecleon in its mouth, only one mouth managed to make noise.

Weeh-woo—Weeh-woo—

A piercing siren blared.

Officer Jenny and the others arrived faster than expected, clearly worn out from dealing with these apparent main culprits during overti.

Let’s just hope they’re not copycats worshipping those two thieves.

Baimu mused internally.
