In the movie, Jirachi chose Xiaosheng.
The one Baimu encountered wasn’t responding, unsure if it was in a deep sleep or if his heart wasn’t pure enough.
The Galarian Corsola on his shoulder felt a bit envious upon hearing Jirachi could safely sleep for a thousand years. It couldn’t sleep that long; once its energy reserves were used up, it would co out to "forage."

The Galarian Corsola appears to sleep for a long ti, but its sleep is actually shallow; most of the ti, it simply stares blankly.
