In Kanto, there is a town in the middle of the forest that not many people know about, free from outside corruption, pollution, and violence. Few people of importance co from this town, but there are currently two people of note in the town. One is the forr Kanto champion and the most famous Pokemon researcher, Professor Samuel Oak. And the second is our protagonist, who is currently just a Baby.

'Ugg' as our protagonist tries to open his eyes, he can only see harsh light coming from all directions. His body feels weird and his head is in pain, he can't see the people around him and he can only hear the muffled voices around him. The only thing he could make out was a female voice saying, "I'll call him Ash, Ash Ketchum"
*Sad baby noises*

(Delia POV)
"Congratulations Ms.Ketchum, He is a healthy baby boy," said a nurse, "Where is your husband, shouldn't he be here for your son's birth."
Delia smiled and just said, "He is a Pokemon trainer and Oak sent him out on a personal mission, and he promised Oak that he wouldn't be back until he could finish."
The nurse could only smile and hand the baby over to Delia, she didn't know how to respond to that. So she just asked, "So what do you plan to call him?"
Delia thought and told the nurse, "I'll call him Ash, Ash Ketchum."
*2 days later*
A young woman with her baby could be seen leaving the hospital, only one person was there to et her on her way out, and this was Samuel Oak. But obviously younger, he looked more like his Pokémon: The Electric Tale of Pikachu counterpart.
"Hello Delia, is this the little one you told about," Oak asked with a smile on his face
"Hello Oak, yes this is little Ash," she said smiling, "He has his father's looks."
Hearing this Oak could only smile sadly, "Oh, yes I'm sorry about sending him out, if I had known you two were having a child I wouldn't have sent him. And he's so far out that you can't even call him."
Hearing this Delia smiled and said, "Don't worry about it, he is a Pokemon trainer he would have probably left soon after any way to continue his journey."
Oak could only smile, he didn't know how to respond to that. So he just asked, "So what will you do now that you have a child, you can't really leave to continue becoming a Pokemon trainer."
Delia stopped to think for a bit before suddenly getting an idea, "I can start running Pallet House, the restaurant my mother left for ."
Oak smiled, "That's a great idea, can't have Pallet Town's only restaurant going out of business can we." Then looking at the child looking at him, "Hello there! Welco to the world of Pokemon! My na is Oak! People call the Pokemon professor! This world is inhabited by creatures called Pokemon! For so people, Pokemon are pets. Others use them for fights. Myself...I study Pokemon as a profession. First, what is your na?"

(Ash POV)
'My brain can't take this, I'm a baby again, but why am I, Ash!? Well no use complaining, this must be what he set up for so I wouldn't die. But where is my dad, did he not show up for my birth? It seems important for him to be here, especially because he does co and visit in one of the last few episodes of Pokemon Journeys so he is in contact, but we never get to see him.'
*Baby noises*
Looking around Ash could see the town in its full glory, the gas did not give Pallet town justice for how beautiful it is.
'Ok so what do I know, I am Ash, and going to leave to start my adventure in 10 years, I am getting my talents and items in 8 years, and that's where it ends. This world is not the sa as any of the versions I'm used to so I have nothing'
Looking over to the man who just told him the iconic intro he was surprised to say the least, on one hand, he was the legendary Professor Samuel Oak, and on the other, he looked handso, it makes sense this was 10 years earlier so he is 10 years younger, but still, he looks like the kinda man you would give your mother, sister, daughter, and wife with a smile on your face. He answered the only way he could.
*Happy baby noises*
Hearing this Oak smiled, "Lively one, aren't you? That's good you're going to be studying in my school so you'll be learning under , I'll look forward to seeing what you'll beco."
"You know I have a grandson that was born just a few weeks ago, I hope you two will be friends since you two will be neighbors," getting closer he said in a softer voice, "Between you and , I am hoping he follows after and becos a pokemon researcher like , his sister Daisy is already studying to beco a pokemon groor, and unfortunately knowing his father he'll probably want to be a pokemon trainer."
Seeing this Delia smiles, "Stop it Oak he's a baby, he doesn't understand what you're saying, besides even if he did what he would do, break your grandson's spirit, that's just ridiculous."
As Oak laughs he looks up, "Well you never know, maybe little Ash will beco the Pokemon champion."
Ash heard this and of course thought, 'Oh I'll do much more than that, I do things my way this ti around and I'll get to the top. Just wait for '
'Dattebayo!'

- She is apparently 29 so that ans when Ash was born she was roughly 19
- Apparently, she was part of Team Rocket and dated Giovanni for a bit before eting Ash's dad
- Her dream was to beco a Pokemon trainer and famous model, but she left that behind her when Ash was born
- She got married to Ash's father very quickly after they t.
- She was also one of Professor Oak's students, and a prodigy when it ca to anything related to Pokemon and battling
