Looking at Kyogre's relieved expression, Julian couldn't help but find it a bit funny.

It was supposed to be the God of the Sea, for crying out loud. Yet it acted like a scared child in front of Rayquaza.

Today had also been Julian's first real encounter with Rayquaza.

Although Rayquaza had initially trusted him because of the summoning card's effect, after the card's duration expired, Rayquaza had still remained quite friendly toward him.

Of course, his passive ability Unown's Protection had certainly played a part in that.

Rayquaza had even given him such a valuable item.

Julian felt that among all the First-class Legendaries he had met, Rayquaza was the second most generous—surpassed only by Mew.

"It didn't even look at me once. Does it look down on me?"

Deoxys muttered resentfully from beside him, its gaze still fixed on the direction where Rayquaza had disappeared.

After all, when it had first arrived on this planet a few years ago, relying on its form-changing ability, it had exchanged a few rounds of blows with Rayquaza.

Yet now, upon meeting again, Rayquaza hadn't even spared it a glance.

So aside from the impossible explanation that Rayquaza had suddenly gone blind—the only remaining possibility was that it simply didn't think Deoxys was worth acknowledging.

The more Deoxys thought about it, the more irritated it became.

"What's there to be so cocky about? Give me a few years, and I'll beat you senseless!" It grumbled under its breath.

Julian couldn't help but glance at it.

'Give 'you' a few years, or give 'me' a few years?'

Though, a few years probably wouldn't cut it anyway—at the very least, it would take a few decades.

For a Pokémon like Deoxys, which had bee a First-class Legendary through acquired means, it must have had immense willpower, great wisdom, and extraordinary opportunities.

Yet in terms of natural foundation, even with Julian's intensive training, Deoxys still couldn't pare to Rayquaza right now.

Not to mention Rayquaza—it couldn't even pare to Kyogre.

After all, they were First-class Legendaries born from the very fabric of the world itself.

If this was a cultivation novel, they would be considered Innate lifeforms.

So an acquired lifeform, unless blessed with heaven-defying opportunities, would find it nearly impossible to surpass these innate beings.

Over the past few years, Julian had focused most of his resources on training Zekrom, Reshiram, and Metagross.

Otherwise, there was no way the Twins Dragons could have advanced from the late-stage First-class Legendary tier to the Peak in just a few short years.

And a large part of the reason Kyurem had agreed to follow Julian was precisely because it had realized that the tremendous increase in Zekrom's and Reshiram's strength was closely tied to Julian.

They had once been at the exact same level, yet after being apart for only a few hundred years, the two dragons had bee so much stronger than it.

Kyurem naturally felt pretty bitter inside—after all, it had once been just a little stronger than both of them. But now, there wasn't even any point paring anymore. The two of them could knock it flat with just a few moves.

Leaving Kyurem's plicated feelings aside, Julian had already jumped onto Kyogre's head.

It truly deserved the nickname Fatheaded-Fish—aside from its body, the rest was all head. Julian couldn't help but think of a famous dish known to every household in Drakoria: pickled pepper fish head.

Slurp~

He unconsciously swallowed his saliva.

"Julian, since when did you and that over—since when did you and Rayquaza get so close?" Kyogre asked, deeply puzzled.

It was quite familiar with Julian and had even fought side by side with him.

But after just a few years apart, Julian had actually started bossing around its own boss. And its boss was very willing to be bossed around.

Rayquaza was a Dragon-type First-class Legendary.

And all Dragons—whether Ordinary Dragons, Pseudo-Legendary Dragons, or First-class Legendary Dragons—were extremely arrogant beings.

Especially Dragon-type First-class Legendaries, the kind of arrogance that practically shoved their nostrils right at you when they talked.

And its boss was precisely the type who liked to talk to you with its head held high. Yet, it was willing to take orders from Julian.

Kyogre even began to wonder if Rayquaza's brain had been damaged.

"I've always had a good relationship with Rayquaza. You just didn't know about it," Julian casually brushed it off with an excuse. He certainly wasn't going to tell Kyogre the real reason.

Kyogre didn't probe any further, since it couldn't think of any other good explanation anyway.

"Then you're really amazing, ordering Rayquaza around like an Arcanine."

As Kyogre said that, it first made sure Rayquaza had really left—otherwise, it wouldn't dare say such a thing.

Kyogre had been the very first First-class Legendary Julian had ever e into contact with, and it had been many years since they last met. So Julian sat on its head and chatted with it for a while.

For the most part, Julian just listened while Kyogre plained endlessly about Rayquaza and Groudon.

Surprisingly, it plained about Rayquaza even more than it plained about its lifelong rival, Groudon—that caught Julian a bit off guard.

It seemed Kyogre had been thoroughly bullied by Rayquaza, and Groudon was probably in the same boat.

Among the three First-class Legendaries of sea, land, and sky, Rayquaza indeed held an overwhelming advantage over the other two.

After chatting with Kyogre for a while longer, Julian hopped onto Kyurem's back.

Kyurem's body stiffened slightly, and it almost couldn't resist freezing Julian into an ice cube on the spot.

Fortunately, it remembered just in time that it was now a First-class Legendary with a trainer—no longer a wild one.

For some reason, a strange sense of pride even welled up inside it.

"Let's go, head back."

Julian patted Kyurem's neck.

"Kyogre, I'm heading off. e visit me when you're free."

After saying goodbye to Kyogre, Kyurem carried Julian away, while Zekrom and Reshiram flew on either side of it.

[Ding!]

[Hidden Mission pleted: The Tao Trio]

[Mission Rewards: Rare Candy ×3 (usable by First-class Legendaries, cannot be used for breakthroughs), Rare Candy ×5 (usable by Champions, cannot be used for breakthroughs), 1,000,000 points.]

---

The voice in his mind made Julian let out an involuntary snort of delight.

These rewards were simply too generous, and he hadn't expected the Tao Trio to be a Hidden Mission.

If that was the case, then would recruiting the Sea-Land-Sky Trio, the Creation Trio, the Hero Duo, the Sun and Moon Legendaries, and other Legendary groups also trigger Hidden Missions?

Drawing one inference from another, Julian couldn't help thinking that he really was quite clever.

While Julian was happily lost in his own thoughts, the higher-ups of every nation had collectively turned into envious spectators.

Just watching Julian mand Rayquaza had already been shocking enough. But now he had even captured the newly appeared First-class Legendary, Kyurem.

Although Kyurem had been pletely dominated by Rayquaza throughout the battle, energy analysis had shown that Kyurem possessed the strength of a late-stage First-class Legendary.

The reason it had been overwhelmed wasn't because it was weak. It was because Rayquaza was simply too strong.

And even if it was weak, so what? Weak as it was, it was still a First-class Legendary.

And even the weakest First-class Legendary could easily overwhelm their Champions.

They just couldn't wrap their heads around it—why were these First-class Legendaries flocking to Julian one after another?

What kind of charm did he possess?

Had those First-class Legendaries pletely abandoned their pride?

Couldn't they see that there were already several First-class Legendaries around Julian?

And when Rayquaza left, it had even given Julian one of its reverse scales—a scale containing Rayquaza's very genes.

If they could research it, they might be able to artificially create an incredibly powerful Pokémon.

Envy, jealousy, resentment—all kinds of emotions churned in the minds of the world's leaders, only to ultimately dissolve into helpless sighs.

There was nothing they could do. Right now, they didn't even have the courage to raise their voices against Drakoria, let alone target Julian.
