Hearing Drake's words, Aoki closed his eyes.
Since it was a Team Aqua operation, Archie would definitely bring Shelly. Aoki had planted a psychic seed in Shelly's mind, and as long as he wished, he could sense Shelly's location.
In Aoki's perception, Shelly's location was still moving, and at a considerable speed, indicating that she was likely still in a submarine, searching for Kyogre's resting place.
Aoki could clearly sense that Shelly's heart was very conflicted at this mont.
There was joy and excitent at being close to finding Kyogre, but also confusion about what might happen, and even distrust towards Archie.
Ever since Archie obtained the Indigo Orb, his already flamboyant personality had beco even more pronounced, even turning sowhat irritable.
This made Shelly increasingly suspect that the dream Aoki had shown her was a true prophecy.
This left her feeling very conflicted, unsure which side to believe.
Seeing Aoki close his eyes, a hint of curiosity appeared on Drake's face, and he asked, "What's wrong?"
Aoki slowly opened his eyes. "During the last battle with Team Aqua executive Shelly, I found an opportunity to leave a psychic imprint on her. At such a close distance now, I can vaguely sense her whereabouts."
Upon hearing this, Drake's expression instantly brightened, but then beca sowhat complex.
Aoki was startled.
"Is sothing wrong, Teacher?"
Drake shook his head helplessly and said, "If Team Aqua is truly operating underwater, we are at a disadvantage. After all, being in the water is not conducive to combat."
That being said, it was indeed a bit troubleso.
"Teacher, since we are all humans, even if they are better at fighting in water, humans cannot stay underwater for long. As long as we prepare in advance, I believe it won't be a problem. Besides, have you forgotten what abilities your disciple possesses?" Aoki said.
As he spoke, he spread his palm, and a psychic barrier appeared out of thin air, enveloping both himself and Drake.
Seeing Aoki's move, Drake finally realized and said with a smile, "I had forgotten.
However, this ti it might be just the two of us facing Team Aqua's Archie and his subordinates. I'm worried the League's reinforcents won't arrive in ti, so if a battle breaks out, please prioritize your own safety. This ti, we will definitely take down Archie!"
Intense confidence appeared in Drake's eyes.
Team Aqua and he were both children of the sea; the only difference was that Archie and his team operated underwater, while Drake navigated the seas in his own ship.
Whenever Team Aqua did sothing out of line, it was usually Drake who handled it.
"Let's go! Since you can confirm their location, let's attack directly. We'll take them all down before they find Kyogre!" Drake said.
Aoki nodded.
He walked out of the Pokémon Center with Drake. Officer Jenny and the other League police officers were waiting outside for Drake and Aoki's instructions.
"Elite Four Drake! Elite Four Aoki!" Officer Jenny saluted, "Is there anything we can do?"
Drake nodded, "Officer Jenny, please calm the island residents. Elite Four Aoki and I have confird Team Aqua's location. There might be so significant commotion later, so I hope you can keep the residents under control."
"Yes!" Officer Jenny imdiately responded.
Then Drake threw out a Poké Ball, summoning his Salance leader.
Now, the faster, the better, so Aoki and Drake stood together on the back of the Salance leader.
With a flap of its wings, it stirred up a gust of wind and flew towards Team Aqua's location.
The Salance leader's strength was, after all, much greater than Aoki's Salance. Even without ga Evolution or the Blue Orb Shard, its speed was considerably faster than Aoki's Salance.
The whistling wind blew directly at them, and Aoki extended his psychic barrier.
"Sotis, I really feel that psychics are truly convenient in any situation," Drake sighed.
He thought about the tis he rode his Salance alone and didn't dare to stand straight on its back; the whistling wind was more than he could bear.
"Psychic power is actually the extent that a person's spiritual energy can reach when condensed to its limit. Teacher, you might even have a chance to beco a psychic. I can give you a test later, but improving psychic power is much more troubleso than awakening it," Aoki said.
Drake waved his hand directly, "Forget it, I don't have much ti to spend on that. You are young; you are different from us old n."
Aoki nodded and said no more.
Aoki believed that Drake indeed had so chance of awakening psychic power, but his talent would likely not be as good as his own. Without any extraordinary encounters or special auxiliary items, he might never reach the level of a beginner psychic in this lifeti.
Rather than wasting ti on this, it would be better to train his Pokémon more; he might even be able to make further progress.
Aside from anything else, Drake's old partner, this Salance leader, had a good chance of making further progress. As long as it broke through to Level 90, it would officially enter the ranks of the very top tier of people in this world.
At that point, his perspective and feelings about things might be different.
After flying for about an hour, the Salance leader's speed finally allowed them to catch up with Team Aqua's submarine.
"Team Aqua's submarine is below. Their movent speed is still very fast. What do you say, Teacher?" Aoki said after closing his eyes and sensing for a mont and pondered for a mont, "Go down!"
After making his decision, he had Salance fly to the turbulent sea surface.
Aoki imdiately extended his psychic barrier and nodded to Drake.
Drake understood and recalled Salance. Then, the two of them fell straight into the stormy seawater.
Taking out a Poké Ball, Aoki summoned his Swampert, and Drake also took out a Poké Ball, summoning his Gyarados.
Although Gyarados was not Drake's main Pokémon, as a captain navigating the vast ocean, he did have so Water-type Pokémon.
Led by their Pokémon, the two quickly approached the submarine.
Because Aoki used psychic power in a way similar to how mbers of the Divine Cult used it, the submarine's radar could not detect their approach.
Although Swampert and Gyarados appeared large, compared to Team Aqua's base, this massive underwater warship, the difference was still quite significant.
Drake's worries were completely unnecessary. In such a large warship, there was no need to worry about not being able to exert their full strength.
They had Swampert and Gyarados carry them, sticking close to the warship.
Then Aoki used psychic power to open a tightly closed door and directly infiltrated inside.
Team Aqua's mbers probably never imagined that while they were rapidly moving through the sea, soone could stealthily infiltrate them.
