Finally, Aoki received Grandma Kui's research findings on "things turning into their opposite when they reach an extre."

This research could only serve as a reference for Aoki and couldn't be directly applied, as no one had ever encountered Darkrai's unique situation before.

It rely gave Aoki a reference. The specific thod still required him to combine Grandma Kui's research with Darkrai's current special condition, analyze, and experint before seeing if it would be effective.

So, Aoki imdiately applied for a room at the Breeder's Guild, then locked himself in to focus on his research, hoping to achieve results.

Fortunately, Aoki had the help of the system, and the tasks of experintation, analysis, and calculation could be entirely handled by it.

...

Three days later.

This was the first ti Aoki had spent such a long ti creating a potion since arriving in this world, even with the chip's assistance.

Luckily, he was currently in the Breeder's Guild, so even so rare materials were not exceedingly difficult to obtain. Moreover, Aoki was no longer the impoverished young man who used to stretch every penny; his current enterprises were not much weaker than the resources Steven could command.

Coupled with his status as a professor, and Grandma Kui's high regard and trust in Aoki, he could access the materials stored in the Breeder's Guild.

Only then was he barely able to create this potion.

Without going into too much detail, simply finding those few plants near the spring was an absolute priceless treasure.

After three days of sleepless nights, even Aoki, a powerful psychic, was disheveled, and his eyes were bloodshot from intense concentration.

However, Aoki didn't want to rest. He directly opened an interdinsional space in the wall and walked in with an excited expression.

Whether Darkrai's strength could recover depended on the effect of this potion.

Aoki took out the only Master Ball he had from his pocket and summoned Darkrai in the interdinsional space.

Upon appearing, Darkrai instinctively observed its surroundings. With its original strength and eyesight, it instantly recognized that it was in an interdinsional space. However, since Aoki was standing in front of it, it didn't say much.

In the ti since it left the Pitch-Black World, Aoki had made quite a few attempts on it and invested a significant amount of resources and effort.

Even an old monster like Darkrai, who had lived for an unknown period, was sowhat moved.

However, while there was gratitude, the generational gap between Darkrai and Aoki had always existed. This was not sothing that could be eliminated in a short ti, as Darkrai was not a Pokémon without its own thoughts, nor was it a newly hatched Pokémon with an immature mind.

But there were benefits too; at least, the relationship between Aoki and Darkrai had grown much closer.

Aoki looked at Darkrai, who seed to be in much better spirits now, and took out the potion he had just finished making.

Inside a glass test tube was a clear, transparent red liquid. This was the result of Aoki spending a great deal of cost and effort to fully activate the internal properties of that material.

"This is the potion I just concocted. Its efficacy is best when freshly made. This ti, it should have so effect. Give it a try," Aoki said.

Looking at the sowhat tired Aoki, Darkrai silently watched him for three seconds, then stared at the potion in his hand for one second.

It snatched the test tube from Aoki's hand and poured it directly into its mouth.

Seeing Darkrai's unhesitating action, Aoki nodded slightly.

It still had great potential for cultivation.

"Once the potion enters your body, it requires your Dark-type energy as a catalyst. It can, to a certain extent, dispel the Ghost-type energy within you," Aoki said again.

Then, a powerful energy fluctuation appeared around Darkrai.

It wasn't that it lacked strength; it was just that its strength had been eroded over many years while resisting the encroachnt of Ghost-type energy.

Most of the Dark-type energy was intertwined with the Ghost-type energy, coiling around each other.

These energies, which naturally countered each other, would be useless when entangled.

Under Darkrai's active command, Aoki's potion seed to transform into a massive millstone, slowly drawing all of Darkrai's energy into it. It ground all the energy repeatedly, removing the Ghost-type energy impurities and leaving only pure Dark-type energy.

As long as this state could be maintained, Darkrai's problem could be completely resolved.

Aoki's eyes were fixed on Darkrai's body, watching to see if any changes or effects would appear.

Soon, under his gaze, from an unknown corner of Darkrai's pitch-black body, a wisp of black mist slowly floated upwards, gradually dissipating and finally disappearing.

Aoki knew this was the Ghost-type energy within Darkrai.

It's working!

His heart slightly stirred with excitent.

After so many attempts and thods that showed no effect, this ti, he finally saw so progress.

"Kweee!!!"

But then, Darkrai cried out in pain.

Aoki's expression changed slightly, and he imdiately used the system to scan its current condition.

All indicators were fluctuating, but generally showed an upward trend, aning the potion's effect was very good. It might just be sowhat painful for Darkrai, so much so that it was difficult to bear.

All the energy in its body had to go through the millstone, which, for Darkrai, was akin to having all of one's bones shattered and then reassembled.

Moreover, because the potion's effect lasted for a relatively short ti, Darkrai itself was unwilling to give up this good opportunity, so it increased the speed of energy transmission.

The pain beca unbearable for a mont, causing it to cry out.

As its mouth opened, a large amount of black mist spewed out, and a lot of black mist also appeared all over its body.

Although these Ghost-type energies were dense, they were not pure. Absorbing them would only bring harm, not benefit, to a ghost Pokémon.

It was from this mont that Darkrai's data, under the system's scan, rapidly soared.

No matter how much it trained or consud high-energy food, Darkrai's strength would not change, but at this mont, it began to change wildly.

Aoki took a slight step back. These scattered energies were of no benefit to him either, so he let them dissipate within this interdinsional space.

Level 71!

Darkrai's level also began to change.

This indicated that the potion truly had an effect!
