Unknowingly, the feeling of mutual hostility between the two had lessened, almost giving way to a sense of camaraderie.
"That's right, let's go! We need to check it out!" Aoki nodded with a serious expression.
With one swift step onto Honchkrow's back, he flew directly in Absol's direction.
Seeing Aoki's movents, the Kaitou also stepped onto the back of her Skarmory and took off at full speed toward Absol.
Now was a critical mont—she had to catch up quickly before Aoki got ahead of him.
Absol stood by the lake, watching Aoki and the Kaitou approach. She made no attempt to flee, silently observing them.
A minute later, Aoki reached the shore first and looked directly at Absol.
His system activated and began scanning her data.

Absol's potential was impressive, and considering how rare her species was, her value would only increase. If her base stats were higher and her reputation more legendary, she might have even been considered a mythical Pokémon.
Although Absol's overall base stats weren't extraordinary, her 130 Attack and 75 Speed made her a strong physical attacker.
A Pokémon like Absol was definitely worth training.
Her ability to predict disasters ca from her Psychic-type move, Future Sight. This move allowed her to sense upcoming events, and as she grew stronger, her predictions would beco more precise and extend further into the future.
Additionally, despite being perceived as an on of disaster, Absol was actually a gentle Pokémon. With her ability to foresee calamities, she instinctively sought out humans who were easier to trust.
However, her Perish Song was a deadly tool. Depending on the person or Pokémon she encountered, her attitude could shift drastically.
Yet, even as Aoki and the Kaitou stood before her with clear hostility, she made no move to escape. Did she sense sothing? Had she discovered sothing?
The Kaitou landed just after Aoki, surprised that Absol had not fled.
His Roserade, who appeared beside him, gently tugged at his sleeve, as if hesitant to speak.
"Pfft~~"
Absol called out softly. Her voice was calm and soothing, as though comforting those who heard it.
"This Absol's psychic power is quite strong," Aoki thought. While his own psychic abilities were weak, he could still sense the powerful fluctuations of energy emanating from Absol.
She seed to hear his thoughts. Her red eyes locked onto Aoki's, unwavering.
They say eyes are the windows to the soul. A keen observer could always see sothing hidden beneath the surface.
Suddenly, a faint red glow flickered in Absol's eyes, and a wave of psychic power connected the minds of Aoki and the Kaitou.
Telepathy?
Aoki was slightly surprised.
"Help~~ Please~~" Absol's telepathic skills were clearly underdeveloped, allowing her to communicate only simple thoughts.
But Aoki understood her aning.
She hadn't fled because she was seeking help?
Aoki remained silent, but the Kaitou spoke up. "Help? You want us to help you?"
For so reason, the Kaitou could feel the desperation in her request.
But Absol didn't say anything else. She glanced at him, then at the silent Aoki, turned around, and let out a soft whimper, motioning for them to follow.
Deciding to see where this led, Aoki followed behind Absol.
Not long after, Absol led them to a cave.
She entered without hesitation. Aoki and the Kaitou exchanged glances before following her inside.
This cave was nothing like the damp, dark one Aoki had entered before. The ground wasn't slippery, and the air was dry and comfortably warm.
As they ventured deeper, they discovered why Absol had sought their help.
In the deepest part of the cave, nestled in a thick bed of hay, lay three small Absol.
These were her children!
Aoki was genuinely surprised—she had actually given birth to three cubs?
It was his first ti seeing Absol's offspring.
The mother Absol hesitated for a mont, then softly called to them, signaling for them to co closer.
That morning, she had sensed impending danger through her ability to predict the future. But with three newborns, she had no ans of escape.
Worse, one of her children had been sick since birth and had not yet recovered.
She had tried everything she knew, but nothing worked.
Her Future Sight only gave her vague premonitions. Unless the event was major, she wouldn't see specific images.
So, she knew soone ant her harm—but not who it was.
That afternoon, her instincts told her to go to the lake. She hadn't wanted to bring danger to her children, so she had intended to confront whatever was coming alone.

When Aoki saw Absol and her three cubs, his first thought was—Jackpot!

But after understanding Absol's plea, Aoki hesitated.
Honchkrow and Sneasel stood beside him, wary of Absol's potential outburst. Even though they understood her request, their priority was Aoki's safety.
As Aoki stepped forward, he suddenly noticed sothing shocking.

A rare, crimson Absol.
A rare find among rare finds.

"I can help them, on one condition." He turned to the Kaitou.
She tensed, already wary of him. "What is it?"
Aoki smirked. "Join . Let's form a hunting group. With our own team, we'll earn more than we ever could alone."
The Kaitou's eyes widened. "Sell myself... for a few wild Pokémon?"
