"Sit down and talk, there will be no one here," Professor Oak said, pointing to the table and chairs under a huge parasol.

But at that mont, a dark shadow suddenly appeared in the sky, blotting out the parasol.

Professor Oak smiled. "Matsuda, do you still rember your old friend?"

Matsuda was taken aback for a mont, then smiled knowingly. "Yeah, he hadn't evolved back then."

Aoki didn't stay puzzled for long. The next second, the shadow vanished, revealing a massive, yellow Pokémon.

His System's automatic scan caused Aoki's pupils to contract, his heart skipping a beat.

"This is insane! This Dragonite is absolutely insane!" Aoki couldn't help but exclaim in his mind.

This was the first ti he had ever seen a Pokémon with a blue aptitude.

And not just that—a pseudo-legendary with blue aptitude had reached level 94. With inherited moves that included Extre Speed and a TM pool that scread power, Aoki was truly shaken.

So this was the caliber of an ace Pokémon belonging to a true powerhouse of the League.

Level 94—undoubtedly a Champion-level Pokémon. Though Aoki had suspected Professor Oak had Champion-tier strength, he had so reservations. But the appearance of this Dragonite solidified his understanding.

Champion.

Not just any Champion—top-tier Champion strength!

Lance, who would beco the Dragon-type Champion in Johto, probably didn't have a Dragonite as terrifying as this.

Even Legendary Pokémon might struggle against it.

And not just ordinary Legendary Pokémon.

Aoki speculated that the Legendary Birds of the Sevii Islands would have a hard ti against this Dragonite. Articuno and Zapdos might have a slight advantage, while Moltres would likely struggle.

And these were the true Legendary Birds—ones with divine status, not just wild specins that were called Legends without actual divine authority.

This Dragonite could probably handle an entire flock of the lesser ones.

A pseudo-legendary Dragonite with level 94 and blue aptitude.

These words lingered in Aoki's mind.

If soone could possess such a Pokémon, how many people in the world could even challenge them?

No wonder Professor Oak lived so comfortably, and the League still sought his favor—because he was truly that strong.

At that mont, Dragonite's gaze shifted to Aoki.

Imdiately, Aoki felt sothing familiar.

It turned out that since they had entered Pallet Town, the gaze watching them had been Dragonite's.

"It's already grown so powerful, the little guy from back then," Matsuda murmured, patting Dragonite's body.

Dragonite didn't dodge. It still rembered Matsuda's scent.

However, its eyes narrowed at Aoki, or rather, at Aoki's shadow.

"Woo~~" Dragonite let out a low sound.

Hearing this, Professor Oak's expression changed.

Seeing his reaction, Aoki and Matsuda tensed up as well, though for different reasons.

"What's wrong, Samuel?" Matsuda asked.

Aoki was his disciple, and if Dragonite had noticed sothing that made Professor Oak's ever-calm deanor change, it was clearly no small matter.

Aoki's own expression changed because he realized Dragonite was staring at his shadow.

Others might not know, but Aoki was well aware of what was in his shadow.

Mismagius was currently residing there.

And when Dragonite locked onto his shadow, Aoki even felt a slight Psychic disturbance within it.

"Aoki, have you been anywhere… unclean lately?" Professor Oak asked, his expression serious.

Because just now, his old friend had told him that within Aoki's shadow, it sensed the aura of an Elite-level Pokémon. Though it was well-hidden, it couldn't escape Dragonite's keen perception.

Hearing Professor Oak's question, Aoki's thoughts raced. It was clear now that Professor Oak had noticed Mismagius' presence. How should he respond?

Hiding it was impossible.

That would only make things worse.

As both his teacher and a respected figure, Professor Oak wouldn't be after a single Elite-level Pokémon, right?

Aoki nodded. "I did go to a place with so… peculiar energy, but I didn't encounter any danger. In fact, I t a good partner there. She's strong, but she has a pure heart. Her strength is far beyond mine, so I haven't really trained her yet."

Then, Aoki spoke directly to his shadow. "Co out, Mismagius. Don't be afraid."

The mont Aoki spoke, a ghostly, hat-like head slowly erged from his shadow. Two small red eyes darted to the towering Dragonite, and then, as if terrified, Mismagius quickly hid behind Aoki.

Seeing this, Matsuda's face hardened, and two Pokéballs appeared in his hands.

While Mismagius' strength was manageable for them, it was a serious force compared to Aoki.

Aoki smiled wryly. "Teacher, it's okay. Mismagius is just like a child—a few years old at heart. She's strong, but she doesn't know how to wield her power properly. She's never encountered other Pokémon or humans of this caliber. Now that she's traveling with , it's my responsibility to teach her the basics."

Saying that, Aoki retrieved two Pokeblocks suited for Mismagius from his storage and placed them in front of her.

Mismagius was still nervous, but the mont she saw the Pokeblocks, she forgot her fear and devoured them eagerly, her face lighting up with joy.

Seeing this, Matsuda relaxed slightly—but he didn't let his guard down completely.
