The angry Murkrow did not hold back. When it attacked, it swiftly defeated one opponent. Under Aoki's precise commands, the Rattatas fell one by one.

However, as ti went on, more Rattatas appeared, and their numbers beca overwhelming. Aoki quickly realized the situation was turning dangerous and called off Murkrow's attack. This was clearly a Rattata nest, and if they didn't retreat now, they might not have the chance to escape later.

Facing so many Rattatas, Aoki decided to avoid further confrontation. One trainer and one Pokemon began to run.

The group of Rattatas, with an average level of 20 and so smaller ones trailing behind, pursued Aoki relentlessly. The smaller Rattatas were especially tenacious, but their progress was hindered by thick bushes on the ground.

Noticing this, Aoki deliberately ran toward bushier areas. The Team Rocket uniform he wore provided so protection from the sharp branches and thorns.

While Aoki focused on running, Murkrow took the opportunity to attack from above. With its superior speed, the Rattatas couldn't catch it. Murkrow alternated between using Gust and Dark Pulse, turning the pursuit into a training exercise. The Rattatas beca easy targets for its attacks.

Eventually, the Rattatas realized they couldn't catch Aoki and Murkrow. Their numbers had dwindled significantly due to Murkrow's attacks. The remaining Rattatas burrowed into the ground to avoid further damage from Murkrow's skills.

"Phew..." Aoki stopped running and bent over, resting his hands on his knees as he gasped for air. His chest heaved as his heart raced like it would burst out of his chest.

"Still too weak," he muttered to himself, panting. Despite his recent efforts to recover and train, running at full speed for so long had left him completely out of breath.

As he stood catching his breath, blood began to seep through the gauze bandage on his arm. Sweat trickled into the wound, causing a sharp sting that jolted his nerves.

Finally able to take in his surroundings, Aoki realized he had strayed far from his original path to escape the Rattatas. His priority now was to find his way back.

After a brief rest, Aoki began treating his arm wound. Referring to the map, he noted how far off course he had gone. Any farther, and he'd be beyond the map's boundaries.

A faint sound of running water caught his attention. The soft, intermittent sound of a waterfall, accompanied by a cool mist in the air, hinted at a nearby water source.

Deciding to investigate, Aoki headed toward the sound. His wound had started to bleed again, and the damp sweat had made it worse. Resting at the water source seed like the best option.

Following the sound, Aoki fed Murkrow a few Pokeblocks to help it recover from the exertion of battle. They eventually erged from the forest and reached a small waterfall. The sight took Aoki by surprise. The cascading water created a thick mist, and sunlight filtered through the canopy, refracting into a small rainbow. Towering ancient trees surrounded the area, their dense foliage creating a serene, untouched environnt.

The arrival of Aoki and Murkrow startled the local Pokemon. Those playing in the water fled, diving into the river, while foraging bird Pokemon flapped their wings and disappeared into the sky. The once-lively valley beca eerily quiet.

Aoki paid little attention to the fleeing Pokemon and walked further into the valley, letting the cool mist refresh him. The peacefulness of the place was a welco change after the chaos of the chase.

Amidst the quiet, one Pokemon remained by the riverbank. It was a Slowpoke, lying lazily near the water, its pink tail subrged. Its vacant eyes stared straight ahead, indifferent to Aoki and Murkrow's presence.

Aoki stopped, surprised by the Slowpoke's lack of reaction. As he moved closer, its unusual coloration beca more apparent. While still predominantly pink, its hue was lighter, almost white in places.

"A shiny Slowpoke?" Aoki whispered in amazent as he activated his system to analyze it. The data appeared instantly:

Pokemon: Slowpoke (Shiny) (Green)

Gender: Male

Level: 20

Type: Water/Psychic

Ability: Own Tempo

Held Item: None

Egg Moves: Sleep Talk, Rain Dance, Teleport

Basic Moves: Curse, Yawn, Tackle, Growl, Water Gun, Confusion, Disable

Taught Moves: Calm Mind, Psyshock

TM Moves: None

Aoki's eyes widened at the Slowpoke's potential. The presence of Teleport alone made it a valuable Pokemon, offering both tactical advantages in battle and a reliable escape option. Combined with its impressive Psychic moves, the Slowpoke's potential as a fighter was undeniable.

The Slowpoke glanced briefly at Aoki and Murkrow before returning to its blank stare. Its indifferent deanor wasn't due to laziness but rather a learned behavior. As a shiny Pokemon, it had been treated differently by its kind, often excluded from the group. This Slowpoke had spent years trying to emulate the passive nature of its peers to fit in, but its true nature was far more active and combative.

It had eventually left its group, seeking solitude and hoping to find its place elsewhere. Despite its efforts to conform, it couldn't suppress its love of battle.

Aoki couldn't know the Slowpoke's backstory, but he recognized its uniqueness. The combination of its shiny appearance, strong abilities, and move set made it a must-catch.

"Murkrow, say hello to your future teammate. Use Dark Pulse!" Aoki commanded, a confident smile on his face.

He was determined to capture this Slowpoke.

"Caw!" Murkrow called in acknowledgnt, eager to battle.

Dark energy began to swirl around Murkrow as it prepared its attack. The concentrated energy shot forward, aid directly at the Slowpoke.

The Slowpoke, sensing the malicious energy, reacted quickly. It opened its mouth and fired a Water Gun attack, intercepting the Dark Pulse mid-flight. Both attacks collided, creating a small explosion of energy and water. The impact caused the Slowpoke to stumble back slightly, but its expression shifted. The blank stare was gone, replaced by a focused, determined look.

"Interesting," Aoki muttered as he observed the Slowpoke's change in deanor. This Pokemon was special.

Murkrow's Dark Pulse had landed, dealing super-effective damage. The Slowpoke winced but didn't back down. Instead, its eyes glowed faintly as it used Confusion, sending a wave of psychic energy at Murkrow.

Murkrow dodged just in ti, circling back for another attack. The battle had only just begun.
