Now reading: Chapter 904 - 1158 - Transformation Method from Pokemon: Rising From The Dark, a Action novel by Cicutae.

Returning to his room in the League building, Aoki took out the white card and the unmarked book together. There was no visible information on the white card, and its purpose was initially unclear to him.

However, a sudden idea prompted him to activate his internal system. It was then discovered that this white card was actually a small, specialized computer, requiring a specific password to access its contents. This security asure posed no significant problem for his advanced system, which quickly cracked the code.

The contents within were straightforward, consisting primarily of a few task lists with corresponding rewards detailed at the end. The first task was to extend an invitation for Aoki to join their organization. The reward for completing this mission was two evolutionary stones and a guaranteed increase in his Pokemon's strength.

The subsequent tasks involved the elimination of Steven and others, with each successful elimination rewarding a divine stone. From this, it was apparent that the organization took Aoki quite seriously, yet the nature of the tasks seed almost trivial to him. To be frank, given the strength of the previous man in black, even if he had battled seriously with his ga Evolved Alakazam, he would have been no match for Steven and his companions.

This mission was essentially sending the man in black to his death. In other words, the man in black was nearly a discarded pawn, present rely to test the League's reaction, or perhaps… to test Aoki himself? Aoki felt a slight tightness in his chest.

He then opened the coverless book, which was not thick, only about the width of a finger. Upon opening it, Aoki understood it contained techniques and thods for utilizing psychic powers, detailing many relatively novel applications. Aoki's own psychic abilities were substantial in quantity but lacked corresponding thods of use; most of what he knew was learned from the manual given by Sabrina.

Having never interacted with other psychic users, Aoki was unaware of other techniques. For him, the greatest benefits of his psychic powers were Telepathy, followed by spatial cutting, which served as a life-saving asure. However, the appearance of this book opened a new worldview for him.

The psychic manual Sabrina had once given him was written by psychics who survived by integrating with ordinary people; it was vastly different from the practices of ancient psychics. Even the most basic classification criteria varied greatly. Strictly speaking, according to the classifications in this new book, Aoki could not be considered a high-level psychic but had barely reached the level of an interdiate psychic.

This ant he was on the sa level as the man in black he had encountered earlier. Despite this, the book recorded nurous thods for using psychic powers, including the technique Sabrina often used: transforming humans or Pokemon into dolls.

However, this thod required a high degree of psychic power and control, which Aoki's current abilities could not achieve. Transforming small items might be possible with his current psychic strength, but it demanded an exceptionally high level of control that Aoki did not yet possess. There was still a significant gap.

Nevertheless, so contents of the book excited Aoki. The first was a formal training thod for honing control over psychic powers. It was said that training in this way would rapidly improve one's control without any side effects, far superior to the thod of ntal focus training Aoki had been using. This was what Aoki felt was the most crucial piece of information in the book for him.

In Aoki's view, his psychic powers were already more than sufficient. Even if they grew stronger, it would not make much difference, as this world was still dominated by Pokemon. A trainer's special abilities could only serve as auxiliary asures and were not the key to determining battle outcos.

It was enough. As for the remaining psychic applications, although useful, they were not the most critical. Aoki would never admit it was because he felt his psychic talent was pitifully weak, which was why he did not dwell too much on improving his psychic abilities.

The second thing that concerned Aoki more was a specific application of psychic power: a thod to completely restrain one's own aura. Unless in the presence of another psychic who also possessed this skill, one's psychic perception could not detect him. This explained why, during the previous match, Aoki had sensed nothing when scanning the entire field. It was only when the man in black actively sought him out a second ti that a flaw was revealed, allowing Aoki to detect the abnormality.

However, he had not locked onto the exact location at that ti; he rely realized the area was completely empty and then noticed the man in black. This thod was still very effective. While it might be usable to a small extent normally, the emphasis was not on personal use.

If all mbers of that mysterious organization used this technique, Aoki would not have to worry about soone suddenly appearing and attacking him. From the task list on the white card, it was clear this mysterious organization had taken notice of him. "If I get a chance, I will have to ask Boss Giovanni if he knows about the existence of such a force," Aoki thought secretly. If this organization was truly so well-hidden, it posed a threat to ordinary people across the entire Pokemon world.

After understanding these two key points, Aoki put his knowledge into practice, enveloping himself in psychic energy. He could still be seen with the naked eye, but under psychic perception, he completely vanished. It was not just psychic senses; even radar, thermal perception, and other detection thods could not sense him, as if he had turned into a ghost.

This was, in fact, a special application of psychic power. The book referred to this thod as the Ghost Transformation technique. It seed that, in this way, he could also beco a master of stealth.

He changed into black clothes and jumped out of the window. Using this thod within the Silver Mountain, the headquarters of the League, was quite thrilling. He quietly arrived at the area where the contestants resided, then located Heba's room. After ensuring no one was around, he used his psychic powers to open the balcony window and slipped inside quickly.

"Who is it?!" a voice called out from inside the mont Aoki opened the window. Upon entering the room, Aoki did not conceal his figure and walked directly up to Heba, who was accompanied by a Pokemon and held two Poke Balls in his hands. However, the mont Heba saw Aoki, he lowered his guard slightly and asked cautiously, "Sir?"

Hearing this voice, Aoki was certain. He waved his hand, signaling Heba not to speak, and with another wave, opened a spatial rift on the wall. He then stepped through on his own.
