Under the envious or jealous gazes of many Rocket Team recruits, Sato left, becoming the first recruit to exit the new recruits' dormitory.
At the sa ti, in the core area of the Rocket Team's underground base in Pewter City, in a lavishly decorated large room, Caesar was watching the footage on the big screen with great interest. The content playing was the conversation between Sato and the tall male Rocket Team recruit.
"Not bad at all. Calm and composed, he really knows how to handle himself. He's definitely a good prospect," Caesar said, swirling the red wine in his goblet before downing it with a big smile.
In the room, besides Caesar, there was also a burly man and two beautiful female Rocket Team mbers. Judging by their uniforms, they all belonged to the captain level.
These three captains were direct subordinates of Caesar. The burly man was nad Ryoichi Sakata, Caesar's most trusted aide, while the voluptuous beauty with rose-colored curls was nad Alice, Caesar's lover. The icy blue-haired beauty was nad Sophia, Caesar's younger sister.
Each of the two won had their own charm, but in terms of looks and presence, Sophia, the seemingly ethereal beauty, was undoubtedly the superior.
"Congratulations, my love! You'll surely gain another powerful ally in the future," Alice said, wrapping her arm around Caesar's and resting her head on his shoulder, smiling sweetly.
anwhile, Sakata acted like a considerate butler, refilling Caesar's empty goblet with red wine, while Sophia, sitting on a single sofa, glanced at Caesar before continuing to groom the owth lying on her lap.
"Hahaha! That's hard to say, Alice. How far he goes really depends on his future potential. Thanks, Ryoichi. How's the investigation I asked you to do?" Hearing the flattery from the beautiful woman next to him, Caesar was clearly pleased. He hugged Alice, then turned to Sakata, who had been keeping his eyes straight ahead.
"Yes, Lord Caesar. I am prepared; please review it," Sakata said, imdiately placing the wine he was holding on the table. He then pulled out a detailed report from his Rocket Team wristwatch and handed it to Caesar with a bow.
Seeing this, Caesar released his embrace of Alice, took the report, and began to examine it closely. The upper right corner of the first page was affixed with a photo of Sato dressed like a country farr.
"An abandoned child raised by a peasant, his background is as clean as it gets, and he's a devoted filial son as well. Quiet loyal. It seems like I've truly struck gold this ti. Sophia, how about you take this good prospect under your wing?" After skimming through the detailed report on Sato, Caesar's smile grew even brighter as he looked up at his sister, Sophia.
"I don't want to be a babysitter. Brother, let Alice do it. She's always idle and could use sothing to do," Sophia imdiately rejected without hesitation.
"Who's idle? I help Lord Caesar take care of his Pokémon every day! If anyone's slacking off, it's definitely not ! You're the one who just goes out wasting ti and never seems to complete any tasks," Alice shot back, clearly not one to take insults lightly. The relationship between the two won wasn't great, and as soon as Sophia accused Alice of being idle, they imdiately clashed.
In the next mont, the two won's piercing gazes clashed in the air, creating invisible sparks. The atmosphere in the room suddenly beca tense.
At this mont, Ryoichi Sakata wisely stepped aside, not wanting to disturb the complicated relationship among the three, completely ignoring Caesar, who was giving him a sowhat pleading look, which he pretended to not notice.
"Ahem, enough of that. Let's settle this. Sophia, you'll help your brother train him. Otherwise, I'll lose all face in the upcoming rookie battle. And by the way, I've already taken care of that thing you asked about last ti," Caesar said, feigning a cough to break up the tension between the two won. He then assud a stern deanor before turning to his sister with a friendly expression.
Hearing that her brother had already taken care of her previous request, Sophia's eyes lit up, and a slight smile appeared on her face as she nodded in agreent.
The icy beauty's smile was a breathtaking sight, illuminating the room as if it radiated its own light. Sakata was montarily entranced, a hint of admiration appearing in his eyes.
anwhile, while Caesar and the others were discussing Sato, the man himself had just finished moving into his new place and stepped outside.
He then noticed two male and one female Team Rocket recruit waiting outside his door. Upon seeing Sato erge, the two male recruits positioned themselves on either side of him, while the female recruit stood with her arms crossed, looking arrogantly at him.
The two male recruits presented a stark contrast—one tall and muscular, the other short and skinny—while the female recruit was quite beautiful and tall, fitting the description of a lovely young girl.
Each of them had a Pokémon with them: the tall male had a Geodude the size of two basketballs beside him, the short one had a cold-eyed Ekans coiling at his feet, and the female recruit had a sleek and strong Spearow perched on her shoulder.
Without saying a word, the three recruits blocked Sato's path, clearly coming with ill intent. The familiar-looking short male recruit, along with his purple snake, made Sato feel particularly uneasy.
However, Sato remained calm. After all, the Team Rocket had a rule that mbers could not attack each other indiscriminately. If one party initiated an unreasonable attack, they would be deed a traitor and face execution.
"Do you three need sothing? If not, please step aside," Sato said, his expression calm as he addressed them. He then released his Zubat, just in case anything unexpected happened.
A flash of white light shot from the opened PokéBall and landed on his right shoulder. Upon noticing the strong opponents on all sides, Zubat fixed its sharp gaze on the three Pokémon.
"Hmph, I didn't expect the third-place newcor to be you, you little brat. Listen carefully: return the third-place reward that rightfully belongs to , or I'll make sure you regret it in the upcoming rookie battle. And your Zubat will be nothing but food for my Ekans," the short male recruit sneered darkly.
