------------------

About ten minutes after the Pokémon battle ended, Sato followed the signs and successfully arrived at the dical room located in the central area of Team Rocket's underground base in Pewter City. Although Zubat had ultimately won against Ekans in a last-minute burst of strength, the battle had co at a cost—both sides suffered heavily.

Zubat was covered in wounds, especially its wings, which had several small holes in the mbranes. One wing even showed signs of possible fractures. Sato couldn't help but feel a pang of anguish upon seeing Zubat in such a state.

Fortunately, most of these injuries were superficial and not life-threatening. Additionally, the PokéBall had so effect in restraining the worsening of injuries (higher-grade balls have a stronger effect, which was why he used a Great Ball), so overall, Zubat was not in any imdiate danger.

'I'm sorry for my shallow understanding of Pokémon moves. This battle was my misjudgnt. Please forgive ; I promise this is the first and last ti. I will help you beco a strong Pokémon,' Sato thought seriously while sitting on a public bench, looking at the Great Ball tightly clutched in his hand.

Even though they hadn't spent much ti together, Sato had already co to see Zubat as his most important companion. In this world, he had no family left, so the Pokémon accompanying him were like family to him.

He couldn't accept the fact that his naive mistake had led to his companion getting hurt.

The dical room was crowded with people waiting for Pokémon treatnt, so Sato, a low-ranking Team Rocket mber, had no choice but to obediently take a number and wait in line, much like at a hospital, patiently awaiting his turn to be called.

After waiting for about 20 minutes, the number on the screen finally matched the one Sato was holding. He then followed a female nurse into a room filled with the strong sll of disinfectant.

Inside the room was a mature woman in a doctor's uniform and a well-developed Clefable.

From her appearance, it was clear that the female doctor was from the Western Regions. She had fair skin, shiny long blonde hair styled in the current trend of loose curls, deep set blue eyes, and a tall, curvaceous figure that even her sowhat oversized doctor's uniform couldn't conceal. She exuded an air of beauty, intelligence, and maturity.

Beside her stood the Clefable, which was at least two ter tall, towering over Sato like a pink giant. Clefable wore a nurse's hat marked with an "R" and a specially designed nurse outfit.

At that mont, Clefable seed to be in a bad mood, frowning at Sato as soon as he entered the room.

Noticing the seemingly biased attitude of the Clefable, Sato quickly accessed its data using the system's scanning feature, and he couldn't help but feel shocked. Looking back at the beautiful doctor, his eyes reflected a mix of calmness and seriousness.

Clefable's data was as follows:

Pokémon: Clefable

Level: 40

Type: Fairy

Ability: Magic Guard

Gender: Female

Moves: Copycat, Disarming Voice, Pound, Charm, Encore, Sing, Double Slap, Sweet Kiss, trono, Healing Wish, Minimize, Gravity, Cosmic Power, Moonblast, Lucky Chant, Body Slam, Heal Pulse (Egg Move), Misty Terrain (Egg Move), Wish (TM), Heal Bell (TM), Ice Beam (TM), Flathrower (TM), Thunderbolt (TM), Dazzling Gleam (TM), Psyshock (TM)

From the treatnt of Clefable, Sato could tell that this well-developed Pokémon was quite powerful, which ant that the beautiful female doctor in front of him could also be a formidable trainer.

At the sa ti, seeing that Clefable could use Heal Pulse, Wish, and Heal Bell—restorative moves—Sato felt a sense of relief. The strength of this Clefable, along with its presence in the dical room, clearly indicated a significant proficiency in using Heal Pulse, making it an excellent choice to treat Zubat.

"Hello, Doctor. My Zubat was seriously injured in battle. Please take care of him," Sato said imdiately, addressing the beautiful doctor with respect.

After saying this, Sato opened the PokéBall and placed Zubat on a hospital bed in the room.

The female doctor, nad Fiyali, was in her mid-twenties (about 25). Though she appeared to be Western, she was actually a native of the Kanto region. Her parents had moved to Kanto from the region of Unova.

"I understand. Clefable, hurry up and get to work! First, apply so ointnt for external injuries, then use Heal Pulse," Fiyali said, satisfied with Sato's politeness. After examining Zubat's wounds, she instructed the sowhat displeased Clefable nearby.

Having graduated from the Team Rocket dical Academy five years ago, Fiyali imdiately recognized that Zubat's injuries were superficial and did not require intensive care.

Hearing the command, Clefable shot Fiyali a glare, then stuck out its tongue at Sato before walking over to the bed to assist its trainer in treating the injured Zubat.

"Sorry for the trouble; this one has been a bit temperantal these days. But don't worry, she takes her job as a healer very seriously," Fiyali said with a sweet smile, noticing the worry on Sato's face.

"It's fine. I'm just grateful that she can treat Zubat," Sato replied calmly, nodding, while his gaze remained worriedly on Zubat lying on the bed.

However, Sato's concern quickly faded. As Fiyali had said, Clefable was indeed a competent doctor.

While treating Zubat, Clefable's impatience and dissatisfaction vanished, replaced by a serious expression. It first used Sing, lulling the suffering Zubat into a peaceful sleep with its sweet lody.

Next, after Fiyali applied so unknown ointnt to Zubat's wounds, Clefable began using Heal Pulse on it.

(Note: Heal Pulse is a Psychic-type status move that restores the Pokémon's HP.)

The boy in front of Fiyali gave her a good impression, especially with his calm and sowhat weathered gaze, devoid of any ill intent. This surprised her, as her beauty often attracted the unwanted attention of so brash male Team Rocket mbers, whose gazes were often as predatory and lecherous as that of a lustful wolf, which she found quite botherso.

Just before Sato arrived, Fiyali had been harassed by a persistent Team Rocket captain feigning illness, and Clefable had been insulted for interfering, which made her particularly unwelcoming to male Team Rocket mbers at that mont.

"Outwardly, he looks like just a fifteen or sixteen-year-old boy, yet he possesses such depth in his gaze. What kind of experiences has he been through? I suddenly want to know," Fiyali thought, intrigued as she watched Sato intently observing Clefable's treatnt of Zubat.

Having worked in Team Rocket's dical field for many years, Fiyali had seen various types of people. She had encountered several individuals with eyes like Sato's, but those people were all, without exception, ruthless and devoid of much humanity. It was her first ti eting soone so young yet carrying such a sense of weariness.

Clefable's Heal Pulse was incredibly effective. After two uses, Zubat's wounds were completely healed, and Zubat flew back onto Sato's right shoulder, lively and full of energy once more.
