Brawly's dicham was small — almost a size below normal growth.
But though its body looked slight, its lean fra rippled with compact muscle, honed through constant training. Combined with its ability, Pure Power, that wiry body could unleash force enough to split stone.
Yet dicham's most striking feature was its head: nearly one and a half tis larger than usual, so much that its proportions looked unbalanced. At first glance, it resembled a bobble-headed doll.
But no one who saw it would dare laugh. This was a Pokémon of terrifying psychic might.
Its entrance wasn't flashy like Poliwrath's, but it radiated awe all the sa. Floating cross-legged in the air, hands pressed together, its blue psychic barrier shimred around it. Waves of psionic energy pulsed outward like ripples in water.
The pressure was imdiate — the entire crowd felt as though their heads were weighed down, a crushing psychic gravity.
"What imnse psychic power… This dicham may be malford, but it's been gifted with extraordinary talent. These waves of ntal force are no less intense than that Alakazam I released."
Sato had seen battle footage of this dicham before, but experiencing its aura in person still left him shaken.
At the sa ti, he couldn't help but feel pity. dicham's base stats in Attack and Special Attack were both a re 60. For a Psychic-type with talent this great, it was a cruel handicap.

"dicham, Psychic! Pin down Beautifly."
No theatrics this ti — the mont the referee gave the signal, Brawly ordered a direct engagent.
At once, dicham's blue-lit eyes snapped open. Pointing at the Shiny Beautifly, a crushing wave of psionic force erupted outward.
In an instant, a blue aura seized Beautifly midair, freezing its body in place.
But Beautifly had already danced twice with Quiver Dance. Its special defenses were bolstered high. Straining, it resisted — dicham's grip faltered, unable to lock it down completely.
"Use Bug Buzz!"
Sato didn't hesitate. Before dicham could close its grip, he gave the counter-command.
Beautifly's body could barely move, but its voice was free. A shrill, piercing buzz erupted from its proboscis, imbued with Bug-type energy — the natural bane of Psychic power.
The blue bind cracked apart almost instantly.
And Bug Buzz was not just disruptive — as a sound-based attack, its wide range and piercing effect made dicham's psychic barrier useless.
The harsh vibrations tore into dicham's mind, shattering its focus. Wincing, it abandoned the hold and pulled back, distancing itself from Beautifly.
Freed, the Shiny Beautifly imdiately resud its aerial dance. A glow of power surged across its body as a third Quiver Dance took hold.
With speed heightened yet again, its wings snapped wide. Its form blurred into a streak of afterimages, reappearing behind dicham in a flash.
This ti it didn't wait for orders. It unleashed Air Cutter.
A white blade of compressed wind, five ters across, streaked toward dicham's back.
But dicham's psychic awareness encompassed everything within a hundred ters. The mont Beautifly twitched, it sensed the attack. With a flick to the side, it narrowly evaded the strike.
"Now! Swagger!"
Seeing the dodge and the short distance — less than ten ters — Brawly barked his order.
"Pull back — and scatter Air Cutter!"
At the sa ti, Sato's eyes flashed blue. Through telepathic warning, he alerted Beautifly.
The Shiny Beautifly obeyed without hesitation, wings snapping, widening the gap in an instant.
When dicham turned to unleash Swagger, Beautifly was already outside its range. Instead, countless white blades of wind closed in — the scattered wave of Air Cutter.
The barrage left no space to dodge, hemming dicham in completely.
"et it with Psycho Cut, wide spread!"
Brawly's expression darkened. Sothing felt wrong — he was being led, step by step, into the opponent's pace. But there was no ti to reflect. He had to respond.
dicham's eyes blazed, both hands slicing forward. Dozens of blue psychic blades ford in the air, matching the swarm of wind blades one for one.
"The battle ends here. Once dicham is blasted out — finish it with another Air Cutter."
Sato smiled faintly, eyes flashing as he sent his command telepathically once more.
dicham's Psycho Cut was no ordinary move — bolstered by Pure Power, its physical strength was doubled, making those psychic blades trendously potent.
(With Pure Power, dicham's base Attack of 60 was effectively doubled to 120. That power, combined with a STAB move like Psycho Cut at 70 base power, gave it significant striking force.)
But Beautifly's Special Attack was naturally imnse — a base 150. With three Quiver Dances stacked, its offensive output had reached an overwhelming peak.
Even though Air Cutter was only 60 base power, the sheer amplified damage made its onslaught devastating.
Thus, under Brawly's shocked gaze and Sato's calm one, the storm of white wind blades shredded through dicham's psychic blades as though they were paper, engulfing the Psychic-type completely.
BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!
Explosions rattled the air as energy clashed.
A battered dicham was hurled from the smoke, its body torn by countless cuts.
And before it could even recover — an enormous Air Cutter, eight ters wide, split the lingering smoke and slamd into its midair form with crushing force.
