After smoothly handling both Professor Oak and Giovanni — two absolute powerhouses — Sato once again put on his Ditto-made human-skin disguise and left the inn. He headed straight to a nearby high-end restaurant, where he and his equally ravenous Pokémon indulged in a hearty al.
Once his hunger was dealt with, Sato promptly returned to the inn and began carefully sorting through the gains from this most recent adventure.
Without a doubt, his greatest reward this ti was successfully absorbing a portion of Kyogre's primal power from the Kyogre Crystal.
The power of a primordial super-legendary Pokémon truly lived up to its na. Although the Kyogre Crystal was no larger than a fist, the divine energy within it was imnse.
By absorbing the Kyogre's origin power from the crystal, Sato's system energy surged by 70%, raising the total to an impressive 84%.
In addition, the system shop had updated with a new item — likely related to the fact that the absorbed essence ca from Kyogre, a Water-type super-legendary. Unsurprisingly, the new item was nad "Kyogre Crystal."
Of course, this newly-available "Kyogre Crystal" from the system shop couldn't possibly compare to the original crystal he had destroyed, which had contained true divine energy. Still, any item tied to Kyogre was bound to be extraordinary.

Effects:
- Slightly enhances the user's control over Water-type energy.
- Slightly enhances the user's Water-type energy affinity.
- Small chance to learn a weakened version of Origin Pulse (power reduced to 90).
- Small chance to awaken a weakened version of the Primordial Sea ability (i.e., Drizzle).
- Small chance to gain control over the Domain of Water.
Usage Restriction: Only Water-type Pokémon with golden-tier aptitude may use.
Exchange Cost: 10% system energy.
Remaining Exchanges: 10.
Description: A mysterious crystal infused with traces of Kyogre's primal power. Users who absorb it may briefly glimpse fragnts of ancient Kyogre's secrets — but only Water-type Pokémon of exceptional talent are qualified to do so.
(Note: The "Domain of Water" allows a Pokémon to freely manipulate all non-living water within the domain according to its will. The domain's size depends on the Pokémon's Water-type energy control and affinity.)

To Sato, this new system item had decent value — neither too high nor too low. Its greatest advantage was clear: it could push a top-tier Water-type Pokémon's strength even further beyond its limits.
If luck favored the user, the power boost could be truly imnse.
Domain of Water, Drizzle, and Origin Pulse — each of these effects was trendously useful for Water-type Pokémon.
However, its flaws were equally obvious.
First, its usage restrictions were extrely strict — only golden-tier Water-type Pokémon could use it.
Currently, Sato's only Water-types of golden-tier ratings were Swampert, Shiny Pelipper, and Shiny Gyarados.
Among these, both Swampert and Shiny Pelipper had reached that tier only thanks to the w Gene Enhancent Serum.
Thus, the only truly naturally gifted Water-type Pokémon he possessed was Shiny Gyarados.
That ant if Sato wanted other Water-types to use this crystal in the future, he'd likely need to spend more w Gene Enhancent Serum to raise their aptitude.
Second — and perhaps most importantly — only the first two effects were guaranteed. The remaining three depended entirely on luck.
If luck turned sour, he could use the crystal three or four tis and still fail to gain any of those extra effects.
Of course, if he did manage to unlock any of the latter three — especially effect four or five — then the investnt would be well worth it. Effect three, however, was a bit underwhelming.
After all, the original Origin Pulse had a power of 110, making it a solid long-range Water-type attack. The weakened version's 90 power made it roughly equivalent to Surf, which was easier and cheaper to learn.
Perhaps only a ga Blastoise with the ga Launcher ability would truly benefit from it.
In short, this new system item ca with a strong elent of gambling.
If luck was on one's side, its worth could multiply several tis over. But with poor luck, it would amount to little more than an expensive consolation prize.
Sato wasn't the type to rely on luck. Though he now possessed a healthy 84% system energy reserve, he wasn't inclined to gamble even a bit of it.
System energy was far too valuable — every percentage point mattered. Spending 10% just to take a chance felt far too extravagant.
After all, that sa 10% could buy two bottles of w Gene Enhancent Serum, potentially representing two new golden-tier Pokémon.
With that in mind, Sato shifted his focus to other items in the system shop — particularly Groudon's Blessing Mark and Kyogre's Blessing Mark, both of which had long caught his attention.
He had desired them for ages, but due to limited system energy, he'd been forced to prioritize the more affordable w serums.
Now, with his energy reserves restored, those precious seals were finally within reach.

It was clear that both marks were trendously powerful — limited in exchange count but with no usage restrictions. Once used, they could instantly turn a Pokémon into the core of either a rain or sun team.
After weighing his options, Sato decided to spend 30% of his system energy to redeem the Kyogre's Blessing Mark. Since his current team strategy revolved around rain synergy, this item would be invaluable for strengthening it.
Most likely, he planned to use it on his Swampert. Once he obtained Swampert's ga Stone, his ga Swampert wouldn't need any other Pokémon to set the weather for it again.
Soon, a palm-sized indigo seal shaped like the Greek letter "α" materialized in his hand. It glowed brilliantly with azure light, releasing a surge of pure Water-type energy.
In an instant, the air around him thickened with moisture, the Water-type energy in the room becoming intensely active. Within seconds, a small dark cloud began forming on the ceiling.
At the sa ti, Swampert — stationed by the door — turned its gaze toward the seal, eyes filled with unmistakable longing.
