Fossil Pokémon are extrely rare; they are remnants of creatures that have been long extinct, otherwise, they wouldn’t be called Fossil Pokémon.

"Digging for fossils! I heard a commotion here, so I ca over. What’s this hole?" Gary asked curiously, looking at the pit Pikachu had made.

Actually, Ash was still wearing a mask and not a hat, but Gary recognized Ash at a glance, such was the bond of childhood friends.

He hadn’t seen Ash for a while, and when they t, he found Ash tinkering with sothing here.

Ash glanced at Gary, then the pit beside him. After thinking for a while, he said, "I made this, there are Fossil Pokémon below, want to co down and have a look?"

Just as Gary breathed a sigh of relief, Ash plunged down beside him.

"Boom!"

A loud sound echoed in the entire cave; Ash landed, creating two small dents in the ground, with Misty in his arms, her face flushed with excitent.

At this mont, she had one hand grasping Ash’s hand and the other clutching Ash’s arm. The sudden leap while being held by Ash was so thrilling that she couldn’t help but grab onto whatever she could.

After landing, Ash gently placed Misty down, and several other figures followed, jumping down from the hole above. They were Brock and Gary’s girlfriends.
