"Go, Venusaur, Blossom—Deep Forest Ergence!!" The battle erupted without warning at that mont, as Ash commanded Venusaur to directly attack wtwo!

Blossom—Deep Forest Ergence, a move Giovanni had never heard of, but from the power gathering in Venusaur, it seed to be an even more formidable skill than Frenzy Plant.

Faced with wtwo, Ash still chose to have Venusaur fight. To this, Giovanni could only comnt: A newborn calf isn’t afraid of a tiger. Does he really think that defeating an Elite Advanced Level opponent ans he can challenge a Champion Level?

After wtwo was engulfed, pink blossoms began to burgeon on the massive trees, with a strange aroma perating the field. Giovanni, shielded by wtwo’s protective barrier, neither slled nor absorbed the scent.

Blossom—Deep Forest Ergence, this move was essentially an advanced version of Frenzy Plant, with core life force—the power of Xerneas’s Life Branch—infused into the sakura flora, effectuating a qualitative change in Frenzy Plant.

Originally arm-thick Frenzy Plants could evolve into forms that even two arms couldn’t enclose, with blossoms that exude a fragrance inducing paralysis in both humans and Pokemon.

Upon slling it, one would first beco paralyzed, then fall into slumber, as the paralysis precedes the sleep, making it exceedingly difficult to awaken even when under attack.

Additionally, this move had the effect of draining the attacked target’s life force!

Getting hit by this move ant taking trendous damage while entering slumber, and having life force absorbed to augnt all the trees.

With the current power of Venusaur, even Champion Level Pokemon would be in for a tough battle if hit!

"Clank clank clank!!" From within Deep Forest Ergence, a grating chanical sound echoed, clearly from the machinery on wtwo, and Giovanni’s face changed dramatically upon hearing it.

He then shouted loudly, "wtwo, use Psychic to tear those things apart!"

"Fsshh fsshh fsshh—" The towering forest emitted a series of muffled sounds, followed by a "boom!!"

The trees encapsulating wtwo shattered under a powerful impact, and the imnse force swirled around wtwo, disintegrating any approaching roots!

Seeing this, Ash’s expression turned solemn; despite these being rely trees, their hardness was only slightly inferior to steel, yet the opponent crushed them effortlessly, highlighting the opponent’s imnse power.

In a matter of monts, all the sprouting greenery was decimated, returning the once verdant field back to its barren state.

After being pulverized, the greenery dissipated as energy, leaving only empty patches on the ground.

With its current power, Venusaur using it was rather strained, depleting over 80% of its physical strength.

Hence, this move was essentially reserved as a trump card, and after Venusaur used it, Ash didn’t plan to have Venusaur continue battling. The move was the only one that could threaten wtwo, but the toll it took left Venusaur devoid of the strength to continue fighting wtwo.

A slight mishap and being grazed by wtwo’s power could result in serious harm to Venusaur.

"Return, Venusaur." Before wtwo attacked, Ash promptly recalled Venusaur; wtwo had already raised its arm, but seeing its target vanish, it paused and then lowered its arm again.

"Out of strength after that move? Looks like you plan to use wtwo as a Philosopher’s Stone, but with your Venusaur incapacitated, only your last Pokemon remains. What Pokemon do you intend to use?" Giovanni imdiately saw through Venusaur’s state.

That move earlier was impressive indeed, but it proved rely showy and not substantial. After it, Venusaur had no energy left to contend with wtwo, forcing Ash to recall it directly.

Now Ash was down to his last Pokemon. wtwo, though slightly worn down, was mostly unscathed, rely sustaining scratches. No matter what Pokemon Ash used next, it couldn’t possibly threaten wtwo.

Unless he could exhibit a power several tis stronger than the skill Venusaur used and could use it continuously—but how could that be possible?

Upon hearing this, Ash closed his eyes, his consciousness diving into a group chat.
