Now reading: Chapter 410 - 230: Shattering the Waves! Quick Attack Rivali from Pokemon: This Ash Is Too Versatile, a Fantasy novel by The writing fairy is about to starve to death..

The situation on the field favored Kingler slightly, but Exeggutor’s superpower and Grass Type attribute were there, making it relatively simple to deal with the cumberso Kingler, not to ntion the fact that their levels were almost the sa.

Yet, Exeggutor ’fell on the battlefield’ due to just one mistake.

Even though Guillotine is a one-hit knockout skill, hitting the opponent is incredibly difficult. However, Exeggutor created the opportunity for Kingler’s attack to hit it, effectively self-destructing.

But you can’t bla Exeggutor for this. Who would have thought that Exeggutor, using all its strength to control the water and forming a whirlpool, couldn’t trap Kingler inside or even move it a single inch?

Although water Pokemon have an excellent affinity with water, a whirlpool of that magnitude would still capture a water Pokemon if caught off guard, unless this Kingler had undergone so special training.

Regardless of the reason, Exeggutor has now been instantly defeated. Mandi does not believe this is because Kingler is inherently stronger than Exeggutor; it was just a small error in his command that caused Exeggutor to be hit by the opponent’s one-hit knockout skill.

If he had been more cautious, he wouldn’t have fallen for the opponent’s move. However, now the die is cast, and no amount of regret or review will change anything.

Mandi took a deep breath, retrieved Exeggutor, and then took out the next Pokeball.

"What an unexpected outco. Initially, all of us, myself included, thought it would be a fierce and intense battle, but it ended in an entirely unexpected manner."

"Ash Ketchum is truly a remarkable rookie. Not only has he excelled in Pokemon training, but his command skills are also quite sophisticated. Mandi made just one minor mistake, and Ash seized the opportunity for a one-hit knockout!"

"Can Mandi’s next Pokemon help him turn the tide?"

The comntator’s voice sounded tily. Although he was not a powerful Trainer, his insight was beyond question; otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to be the comntator.

If he couldn’t clearly see the match, what kind of comntator could he be?

Reading the match clearly and explaining it thoroughly so that even laypeople can understand the battle’s circumstances is what a competent comntator should do.

On the other side, Mandi had already thrown out his second Pokeball. With a flash of light, a Pokemon appearing both powerful and resembling both a seahorse and a dragon appeared on the Water Field.

Kingdra, the final evolution of Horsea!

This Pokemon is one of Mandi’s peak mainstays, possessing Elite Advanced Level strength. Even though the strategy was to send out Grass Type Pokemon on the Water Field, it’s unrealistic to replace the entire team with Grass Types.

After all, you can’t wager that the opponent’s Pokemon will all be Water Type, can you? That’s certainly unrealistic!

Moreover, Mandi doesn’t have that many powerful Grass Type Pokemon; bringing out an Elite Junior Level Grass Type Pokemon is about the limit for Mandi.

Therefore, Mandi’s second Pokemon was also a Water Type, the water dragon—Kingdra!

Not only is it proficient in water, but it also has a fourfold resistance to Water Types, making it quite a counter-Pokemon against Water Types.

Compared to the previous Exeggutor, although it lacks the Grass attribute advantage, its resistance is at a higher level and can also utilize the Water Field like Kingler, with a stronger level than Exeggutor, this match should be in the bag!

After seeing the information on the opponent’s Kingdra, Ash thought for a mont, then took out the Pokeball aid at Kingler: "Co back, Kingler."

The highly victorious General Kingler was withdrawn by Ash due to unfavorable attributes and levels. Without activating Aura Power, defeating the opponent would probably depend on the hit rate of Guillotine again.

It’s sowhat unnecessary. Since there are other Pokemon that can handle Kingdra, there is no need for Kingler to exhaust itself.

"It’s you, Pikachu!"

Misty and others in the audience: ???

Wow, sending out Pikachu as the second Pokemon? That’s ruthless! Doesn’t give the opponent any chance at all, huh?

Mandi’s face darkened when he saw the petite yellow mouse jump onto the platform.

Pikachu, such a common Pokemon in Kanto, is almost universally recognized, not to ntion this is Ash’s Pikachu!

Setting aside other Pokemon, Ash’s iconic Pokemon is naturally his Pikachu.

Not only because of Pikachu’s explosive strength but also because Ash has trained this Pokemon to such an extent, and apart from Ash, there shouldn’t be another Pikachu in the world as powerful.

Though Ash’s other Pokemon are strong, they are far from unique. Charizard, Venusaur, those Pokemon, while improving incredibly fast, have not yet reached the Elite level.

But Pikachu is different. This Pokemon is common in Kanto, to say the least, but elevating it to Ash’s level has not been done by anyone else besides Ash.

We can say Ash’s Pikachu is truly one of a kind, a true benchmark of Ash’s prowess.
