Now reading: Chapter 655 - 352: The Final Showdown, Pikachu vs. Dragonite from Pokemon: This Ash Is Too Versatile, a Fantasy novel by The writing fairy is about to starve to death..

Besides that Infernape might have considerable physical strength depletion, the rest of the Pokemon basically haven’t expended much, yet Yuji only has one Pokemon left. How can he win? Might as well forfeit.

However, so people still hold hope for Yuji’s victory because Yuji’s last remaining Pokemon is also his strongest. It’s the Dragonite, hailed as a Quasi-God!

Its rarity and strength are comparable to Legendary Beasts, not to ntion this is Yuji’s Dragonite!

Many people within the Orange Archipelago have a unanimous opinion about Yuji’s Dragonite, which is that given ti, Yuji’s Dragonite will definitely reach the level of Lance’s Dragonite!

Although there’s currently a gap compared to Lance’s Dragonite, it is still an extrely formidable existence!

Even though Ash still has six Pokemon over there, the first three Pokemon are absolutely no match for Dragonite, and Infernape has almost no fighting ability left, leaving only Gardevoir and another unknown Pokemon.

As long as he can defeat those two Pokemon and still retain so physical strength, this battle would still be Yuji’s victory!

The idea is beautiful, but whether it can be done depends on Yuji’s tactics and whether Ash will give him that chance.

On the field—

Yuji took a deep breath, then withdrew Gengar. After comforting Gengar for a mont, he removed the Pokeball from his neck.

"Old buddy, we’re going to fight side by side again, haven’t you not fought for a long ti? This opponent will definitely let you enjoy it to the fullest!" As Yuji’s words fell, the Pokeball in his hand shook slightly, as if acknowledging Yuji’s words.

"Ash, this is the final battle. This is my first and strongest Pokemon. Let show you my trump card—Dragonite!!" Yuji shouted loudly and threw the Pokeball. In a flash of light, a yellowish, seemingly clumsy Pokemon appeared on the field.

The Quasi-God of Kanto, Dragonite!

Quasi-God type Pokemon are very difficult to train, but as long as they evolve to their final form, they basically have Professional Peak or Gym Level strength.

The reason they are called Quasi-God is because they have extraordinary Ability Value among their peers, giving them an advantage in sa-level battles.

Yuji’s Dragonite is his trump card Pokemon and his Starter Pokemon. The strength of this Dragonite is worlds apart from his other Pokemon, already reaching Mid-Elite Level.

Although it just surpasses Gengar by two levels, the distance from Gym to Elite is already worlds apart, not to ntion reaching Mid-Elite Level.

Moreover, this is an Elite Level of the Quasi-God category, and the strength it surpasses is beyond description.

"Here it is! Yuji’s chief trump card Pokemon, Dragonite! Even after Yuji beca the chief Trainer of the Orange Archipelago, there are Trainers who managed to defeat five of his Pokemon, but no matter how many Pokemon the opponent has left, they cannot surpass that highest peak in Yuji’s hands!"

"As Yuji’s chief trump card Pokemon, Dragonite has secured countless victories for Yuji. No matter how dire or hopeless the situation, once Yuji sends out Dragonite, it can break through! Will this ti be the sa as before?!"

Seeing Dragonite appear, the audience, even the comntator, were all in an uproar.

Many viewers on Ganju Island watching the match, and the comntator hosting the match, hadn’t seen Dragonite appear for a long ti. Today, a Trainer has finally forced out Yuji’s Dragonite!

And it’s not just a simple forcing out; Yuji has been pushed into a desperate situation. The opponent still has a total of six Pokemon, while Yuji has only one Dragonite.

Although in the past, so have forced Yuji’s Dragonite out, when has the opponent ever had six remaining Pokemon?!

Even for Yuji’s Dragonite, taking on six might be quite difficult.

But after all, it’s Yuji’s Dragonite. Maybe it can create such a miracle? The chief Trainer of the Orange Archipelago won’t be weaker than any Trainer!

The battle is still undecided!

"Dragonite... Since Mr. Yuji, you’ve brought out your trump card Pokemon, it would be a bit rude if I didn’t bring out mine to face you. Return, Gardevoir!" Ash first withdrew Gardevoir, and after Gardevoir returned to the Pokeball, it shook slightly.

Ash’s Aura understood the ssage transmitted by Gardevoir in the Pokeball, which was that she hadn’t finished battling yet!

Finally having a formidable looking opponent, she’d been withdrawn just like that, what a disappointnt!

To this, Ash could only offer an apologetic smile: "Sorry, Gardevoir. Next ti, I’ll let you have your fill, but this ti, let’s leave it to your old big brother. He hasn’t been on the field for a long ti either."

A few seconds later, the Pokeball gently shook again, as if saying—since it’s the old big brother, there’s nothing to be done, let him have this decisive battle.

"Pika Pika~~" Pikachu at Ash’s feet gave a thumbs up to the Pokeball, thanking the little sister for giving way.

"Alright! Then the final baton is yours, let’s go, Pikachu!!" Ash withdrew the Pokeball, looking excited as he swung his arm and shouted.

"Pika Pika!" Pikachu, moving with agile limbs, leaped onto the battlefield. In this battle of ace versus ace, it’s Pikachu vs Dragonite!!

"Facing Yuji’s chief Dragonite, Ash player has brought out his last Pokemon, Pikachu!!"

"Everyone might be puzzled by Ash’s choice of using Pikachu, but anyone familiar with Ash will know that Ash’s Pikachu is quite unique! This Pikachu holds an absolute ace position in Ash’s lineup, just like Yuji’s Dragonite!"

As the comntator said, many unfamiliar with Ash were puzzled seeing him send out Pikachu against the Quasi-God Dragonite. Was he underestimating Yuji’s Dragonite by sending out a common Pikachu?

But this common, seemingly only-cute Pokemon is actually Ash’s ace? What makes this Pikachu different?

"So it is Pikachu, huh. I’ve long heard tales of your Pikachu being sothing amazing, now I finally get to see it in action!" Yuji wasn’t surprised seeing Pikachu take the field. If he sent out his ace, then Ash would likely respond accordingly.

"You won’t be disappointed, Mr. Yuji. Let’s go Pikachu, let’s start with our full strength!" Ash said, taking off his hat and tossing it onto the field. Pikachu jumped impressively and wore the hat firmly on its head.

Starting off in partner form!

This is also Ash’s sincerity shown to Yuji. Facing Yuji’s trump card, Ash dared not be careless. Without using Aura Power, this is Pikachu’s most powerful form.

After so ti of recovery, Pikachu has returned to Gym Peak and, entering Partner form, reaches Junior Elite Level, basically equal to Dragonite.

"Wearing the hat? Is that also a type of item?" Yuji was taken aback seeing Pikachu with a hat. He hadn’t heard of any items shaped like a hat.

"Hmm, kind of. This state is sothing only my Pikachu can achieve. Mr. Yuji, you can understand this as Pikachu’s exclusive item. Then we won’t be holding back, Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!!"

"Pika—chu!!" The battle erupted without warning, and the golden lightning illuminated the entire field!
