Mu Anhan wriggled in his arms, "Mr. Gu, how can you treat the director of your child’s kindergarten like this?"
And still pretending to be strangers with him? Gu Xiaozhan looked down at her.
He had been quite busy, but she seed to be taking it easy, hiding out here for a leisurely life.
If he didn’t co looking for her, she’d probably just continue enjoying her carefree days here.
Today, Zhu Chen reported to him about the kids’ situation at school, and he imdiately dropped everything and rushed over.
"Don’t want to be Mrs. Gu anymore, enjoying being Miss Mu?" he almost growled.
"How could that be?" Knowing this was a man’s sensitive spot, Mu Anhan wouldn’t dare touch it. She imdiately reached out and hugged the man’s waist, "They call Miss Mu because I don’t want to make things difficult for Mr. Gu!"
"What’s difficult for ?" Gu Xiaozhan had already announced to the world that he was married with a wife and kids.
"Your wife is too beautiful and too likable! In the kindergarten, if soone targets , wouldn’t that make things hard for Mr. Gu?" Mu Anhan laughed.
"Who dares to target my wife, I’ll beat them half to death!" Gu Xiaozhan declared dominantly.
Mu Anhan looked up at him, "Mr. Gu, you’re a public figure! How can you abuse power for personal gain?"
"I don’t like hearing that." Gu Xiaozhan rejected it outright.
Mu Anhan had to find another reason, a very suitable one that could be accepted.
And if she couldn’t co up with one, he wouldn’t be satisfied.
"Actually, I’m worried about the children’s safety. Once outsiders know I’m the director here, the children will be exposed, and those targeting you aren’t any low-profile characters." Mu Anhan gazed at him.
She suddenly understood, "I’m sorry, hubby, I shouldn’t have been so willful, asking you to let the kids study out here! It would increase their risk factor."
Seeing her pouting and looking earnestly repentant, Gu Xiaozhan was amused, "Now you realize, it’s too late."
Mu Anhan widened her eyes, "What should we do then?"
Actually, whether they study or not, and if they study well, was not what’s important to her.
The safety of her husband and kids was the top priority.
"Growing up in an ivory tower isn’t necessarily good for them," Gu Xiaozhan reassured her, "Letting them co out and experience things is beneficial for their lives."
"But I’m still worried..." Mu Anhan knew so were eager to make a move.
Seeing her holding him tightly, Gu Xiaozhan said, "No need to worry, I’ve arranged people in the kindergarten too."
Only then did Mu Anhan feel relieved, having such an excellent husband was indeed a comfort.
"Are you coming back to the company with now?" he asked her softly.
Mu Anhan huffed, "Who’s going to supervise their studies then? If they don’t study well, you’ll punish ..."
"I heard today you were at school, blindly defending them!" Gu Xiaozhan looked at her knowingly, "Spoiling them like this, do you think they’ll study well?"
"They’re our kids, of course, I have to defend them." Mu Anhan said domineeringly, "As for studying..."
She paused slightly and changed the topic, "I did praise Mr. Gu!"
Gu Xiaozhan was amused to the point of laughter, "You’re coming back with ! With you here, they’re even less inclined to study, more focused on playing!"
