Mu Anhan and Gu Xiaozhan shared a kiss, unaware that the kids had quietly woken up!
She glared at the man, accusing him, "Here you are, up to no good again?"
Gu Xiaozhan looked completely serious, even explaining to the kids, "Daddy loves Mommy, and Daddy is expressing his affection for Mommy."
Gu Yu nodded, "Just like on TV, after Daddy kisses Mommy and then sleeps for a while, there’ll be a baby, right?"
"That’s about right," Gu Xiaozhan replied.
Gu Yao argued quietly, "No, it’s not!"
Mu Anhan laughed, "Yao Yao, do you know what’s happening?"
"Of course I do," Gu Yao was not easily fooled, "It’s not just kissing; Daddy and Mommy need to be without clothes, hugging each other..."
Such a small person, yet with trendous strength.
"And how do you know this?" Mu Anhan asked with a smile.
Before Gu Yao could answer, Gu Yu was curious too, "How co I don’t know? Brother, where did you find out?"
"From a book. It says how babies co to be. It starts as a tiny cell and gradually develops into a baby..." Gu Yao is a very precise child, "Sister, what’s on TV isn’t trustworthy!"
Mu Anhan and Gu Xiaozhan exchanged a glance; the adults unsure of how to educate their kids about sex, while the children learned through scientific channels.
Is it a parenting failure? Or are the kids just too smart?
"I want to read it too." Gu Yu imdiately showed interest.
Gu Yao didn’t forget to tease her, "But you never liked reading!"
"I want to read this," Gu Yu promptly replied.
Mu Anhan and Gu Xiaozhan shook their heads helplessly. Kids’ curiosity shouldn’t be stifled but must be guided correctly.
"So, Daddy and Mommy kissing won’t lead to having a baby," Gu Yao further explained to his sister.
Seeing the two kids imrsed in discussion, Mu Anhan quickly pulled Gu Xiaozhan out of bed, made him sit on the couch in the living room. She untied the bandage on his leg, cleaned the wound, changed the dication, and rewrapped it.
Earlier at the hospital, she was so focused on tending to his injuries that there wasn’t ti to feel sad.
At this mont, seeing his severely burned skin, her eyes involuntarily reddened.
She reached out and hugged his waist, pressing her face against his thigh, "Honey, it must hurt a lot..."
But today he still went to work in the city, supervising the task force’s investigation and caring for the injured.
"With Han Han around, I don’t feel pain." He tousled her hair.
Mu Anhan looked up at him intently, "I want you to be okay."
"Aren’t I fine?" Gu Xiaozhan smiled, but soon he suppressed his smile, "Today was busy, still haven’t settled with you. Do you know you were wrong?"
Mu Anhan shrugged, "What did I do wrong?"
"Don’t you know what you did wrong?" Gu Xiaozhan lifted her from the floor into his embrace, "You dared to ask to leave you alone, isn’t that what you said?"
This man’s ability to settle scores later is really sothing! She’s learned that well!
Mu Anhan quickly played dumb, "I didn’t say that! When did I ever say such a thing? Is that sothing a person would say? Sounds more like sothing a little puppy would say?"
She definitely didn’t dare to admit it; this man would surely teach her a lesson!
