Mu Anhan looked at the photos she had taken last night once more.
The more she looked, the more beautiful they seed!
She set one of the photos as her phone’s screensaver. After freshening up, she saw that Gu Xiaozhan hadn’t left yet.
He took her during the day to enjoy the scenery of the beach castle.
"Don’t you have to work?" Mu Anhan asked as they stood by the sea.
"I’m on leave today," Gu Xiaozhan said, resting his hand on her shoulder.
The two of them played until the evening before returning to Tianqin Residence.
Gu Xiaozhan had so business to attend to at night, while Mu Anhan had arranged to et Xue Xiangtong to give her a gift.
Zhang Shishi also had a gift for Xue Xiangtong, but she had so urgent matters at school and couldn’t leave for a while.
Mu Anhan and Xue Xiangtong decided to go to the school together to find her. Zhang Shishi was just about to head to the library to look up so information and study. She often got busy with filming and was behind on her studies, so she wanted to catch up quickly.
"I’m most afraid of studying," Xue Xiangtong laughed, "Just looking at books gives a headache! But, Shi Shi, even Sixth Brother was terrible in school! Hahaha... He can’t help you study either!"
Mu Anhan also laughed, "Sixth Brother doesn’t like studying, but he’s still quite sharp!"
"Third Brother loves studying. He’s been top of the class since he was little. Han Han, do you rember when Third Brother tutored both of us?" Xue Xiangtong asked reminiscently.
"Of course, I rember. But Third Brother is gentle-natured. Even when we were playful and not studying, he wouldn’t really get angry." Mu Anhan laughed, "Big Brother is different; he’s very stern!"
"Exactly, I was afraid of him too!" Xue Xiangtong burst out laughing.
After receiving the gift, Xue Xiangtong and Mu Anhan said goodbye to Zhang Shishi, planning to go shopping and grab sothing to eat.
As Zhang Shishi looked on enviously, Xue Xiangtong tugged at her, "How about skipping studying today and going out with us? One or two days won’t really make a difference."
"No, you guys go ahead and have fun!" Zhang Shishi, although envious, decided to be serious about her studies.
She had brought her grandmother to live in the Imperial City, where her condition was fluctuating, but she could receive the best treatnt available.
She had to work hard not only to make money but also to study diligently.
"The next ti you take a break from studying, call us, and we’ll go shopping together," Xue Xiangtong waved at her.
After leaving the school, Xue Xiangtong sighed, "Ti flies. We’ve already graduated for several years. Han Han, why do I feel like there’s sothing off with Shi Shi and Sixth Brother’s relationship?"
"You’re just noticing that now?" Mu Anhan chuckled.
"Do you feel the sa way?" Xue Xiangtong’s eyes lit up, "Sixth Brother is like a free wind, unrestrained by anything, while Shi Shi is like a quiet flower, needing soone to appreciate her."
"Ah, you’ve really grown; your words are so eloquent now." Mu Anhan laughed.
She took out her phone and sent a ssage to Third Brother: [Third Brother, Tong Tong and I just visited Shi Shi’s school. She’s catching up on her missed studies.]
She only hinted at it, knowing Mu Shaochen would understand.
Mu Shaochen was very familiar with tutoring.
He used to tutor others in high school and college to earn his tuition fees.
Mu Shaochen: [Got it.]
That night, he waited for her outside the school for a long ti. She didn’t co out until almost midnight.
By then, buses and the subway had stopped running, so she ca out riding a shared bike, the cheapest form of transportation, very suitable for her current financial situation.
"Shi Shi..."
Mu Shaochen got out of the car and ca to her side, "It’s so late; it’s not safe for you to go back alone. I’ll take you ho."
