After Mu Anhan got out of the car, she leaned against a big tree and started throwing up.
Once she was done, Gu Xiaozhan handed her so warm water and used a tissue to wipe her mouth.
"Hubby, you shouldn’t be here. I look terrible!" she cried.
Gu Xiaozhan pulled her into his arms, "Silly, you’re my wife. What haven’t I seen before? Don’t say such things, let’s go to the hospital."
He lifted her back into the car and took her to the hospital.
After examining her, the doctor cautiously told Gu Xiaozhan, "Mr. Gu, your wife is not pregnant."
"Did you check thoroughly?" Gu Xiaozhan’s aura in the ER was almost murderous.
The female doctor, around her forties, also got anxious, "I am professional. The Madam just has a bad stomach; she’s really not pregnant. The test results show it’s just gastroenteritis."
Gu Xiaozhan wasn’t sure whether to be happy or upset. It wasn’t that he was desperate for a second child, but the thought that she got sick from greedy eating gave him a headache.

Mu Anhan was excitedly playing on her phone. Seeing him co in, she happily asked, "Hubby, how many kids am I pregnant with this ti?"

Gu Xiaozhan maintained a cold, handso face, "You’re not pregnant with any."

The transition between excitent and misery was completely seamless!
"I might have eaten sothing bad..." Mu Anhan thought admitting her mistake could mitigate the consequences. "Hubby, you’ve worked so hard, staying late and still taking to the hospital..."
Tang Haolang wanted to laugh but didn’t dare; he had no desire to beco collateral damage.
Gu Xiaozhan didn’t want to lecture Mu Anhan in front of anyone else. He glanced at Tang Haolang, "Go check with the doctor."
"Yes!" Tang Haolang imdiately dashed away.
Since it was a VIP ward, only Mu Anhan was staying there.
Facing the Great Demon King alone made her quite nervous.
"Hubby..." Mu Anhan quickly started acting, "I feel so bad... Can you hold ?"
At this ti, only a tearful act paired with so sweet talk would do the trick.
Gu Xiaozhan approached her, seeing her pale face and cold sweat; all his anger turned into heartache.
Keeping a stern face, he nonetheless warmly wrapped his large arms around her.
